Alexander Nevsky

The servant quietly heeded his Masters request, now that he had been given direction with his initial task accomplished. He was more than content to continue along with them to the cafeteria, where they could have their food and learn a bit more about this modern era. Nevsky was looking forward to it, and he followed along as they continued towards the cafeteria.

Once they had arrived, Nevsky looked about to see that many of the others had arrived and were already busy taking part in their first meal after coming back to life. It wasn't that much of a surprise and Alexander went to go see what they had before loading up on ood as well. Indeed there was a lot here, and he ended up with some salad, prepared meat, bread, the sort of meal that a ruler would be able to enjoy in his time.

He moved and sat down near Montag and his servant without being too close, especially for the consideration as Walgrave arrived to converse with the Master that he had made contact with before. Now would be a good opportunity to learn about just what his Master wanted, which was something that Nevsky had been hoping to learn since he had been sent off.

Slowly sampling of his food, Nevsky was impressed. It was much more refined than his time, at a term, and less heavily spiced. The meat was tenderly prepared, and he had to compliment the cooking of this era. It had definitely advance since his own time, in technique and refinement.

At last Walgrave arrived, and Nevsky nodded to his master as he began to talk with Montag about what they wanted to do. "I can agree with that," he confirmed, taking his glass and nodding to those present before taking a respectful sip. He was definitely enjoying this experience of the modern world.

Oh, so Zelretch just called in a favor from the Counter Force? :V
Tartys

The pounding against her barrier did not do Tartys any favors as she struggled to maintain it, doing her best to keep it up as long as possible. That would give Omega time to deal with all the foes that they were currently up against, something desperately needed with the sudden assault. It was just a pity that it had to be the Machina, given their magic would be less effective against them.

Power seemed to drain away, but she was nonetheless cognizant enough to hear his demand, as she closed her eyes and merely focused on the barrier. Yet even with her eyes closed she could still see some trace of the light that illuminated the area beyond, she just managed to not take the full brunt of it. Thank goodness for small favors, though they would have to see whether that made a difference in the grand scheme of things.

Not that she had the chance to find out, for just as it faded away she was practically floored by a sudden surge in gravity, hitting the ground with a grunt. With the shock, and the impact of the kunai, the barrier couldn't hold up and she allowed it to fade away rather than try and maintain it in such a weakened state. It wouldn't do any real good except tire her out further.

Her eye blinking rapidly against the blood and dust that sought to try and blind her, Tartys grabbed her spear and hauled herself back to her feet, facing down the area that they attacks had come from. "The enemy is invisible," she huffed as she stumbled a bit. But it didn't stop her as she drew on what power she still had access to, glimmering light manifesting on the tip of her spear as she gestured it in that direction.

Rays of light shot out, a spiraling kaleidoscope of burning heat that was aimed at covering as much ground as possible in order to hit the invisible target. She could only hope that it landed, and that Omega could take advantage of it to finish the thing off.

Tatiana Lorenz

Well, it wasn't her energy rifles but this biotic rifle would do, Tatiana supposed as she and her companions secured the teleporter room for themselves, with little opposition from the guards that were present. With the area under their control they went about securing it, with her scouting to make sure there wasn't anyone hiding around the place while the others set up more permanent defenses for the room. Speed was still of the essence here.

But really at this point there wasn't much to do. Not for her anyway. She was just here to provide some security while they handled the teleporter, and given that there wasn't anything attacking them at the moment she thought she did it quite well. Hopefully they'd get to actually fight someone, rather than all this sneaking around soon.

Then they hit a snag. Tatiana walked over as Hibiki explained the situation, the fact that the teleporter was no longer functional because someone decided to mess with the power, which had in turn set this entire place to explode. That seemed like a serious design flaw from her point of view, but she didn't think they'd let her lodge a complaint about it. "I guess it was too much to expect that this would be easy," she noted aloud.

Still, it seemed they had a backup plan. They just had ten minutes and could only teleport once. Fortunately Shizuka would be fine once the mountain exploded, so Tatiana didn't feel too bad about leaving her behind. Instead she nodded to Hibiki as the commander explained their new mission. "Sounds good to me," she agreed as she holstered the barrier bomb and watched Hibiki go ahead of her to scout the way.

She gave the girl a good ten count before moving after her, the other feed popping up in her HUD as she followed with rifle at he ready for any threats that appeared. They were on the clock now so they had better move fast, something emphasized as she felt the entire mountain itself shake in a manner that was not natural. Just what was going on up there?

@Ryonara
Had she been around to ask, Alex would have had a perfectly acceptable answer as to why he was here when he was supposed to be laying low. But given that his Relic was currently in a mode that did not predispose itself towards talking, he felt no reason to elaborate upon his methods or motives. He merely nodded as the bartender explained what was up, giving him some insight into the situation that was currently at hand in the Imperium. He'd find out about what happened at the Church later, he supposed.

Of course, he couldn't help but scoff. "Man, if she's growing impatient then she only has herself to blame," he noted aloud with relative indifference. "If she wanted it done quick she wouldn't have opened up the search to the public." Not everyone was as good as him when it came to this sort of thing, not that he felt any shame about it.

Still, he'd gotten what he came for, at least to some extent. "Thanks for the info," he told the bartender before stepping back and exiting the building once again to return to his safehouse. Now it was time to recover a bit, and the first thing he had in mind was some sleep. That should give things time to settle, and soon he could begin planning out his next big scheme. All in all it was still pretty much life as normal for him.
Masae Kanegawa

Even with the start of the festival, life remained relatively the same for one Masae Kanegawa. She had to keep better track of her time, and she was out of the apartment more, but ultimately it wasn't that different from what she did normally. If they had a tech issue they called her up, and she fixed it before the day was ruined. In return she got a couple nice perks, but beyond whatever discounts she might get for food and the like she didn't care too much. She just enjoyed the satisfaction of fixing the problem. Though getting fed never hurt either.

At the moment though she was curled up in bed, blankets pulled tight to allow her to bask in the warmth that surrounded her. She liked to think of herself as a creature that didn't need too many comforts, but she hated having to sleep in the cold. Even if their place wasn't actually that cold at night, it made her feel better.

Through the dreams of her blissful sleep came the clinking and grinding of the coffee machine, indicating that Aderyn was awake and already busy with sating her addiction. In a way, it would have been more troubling had Masae not heard it, with as much routine as it was for her roommate. Otherwise she might have thought that something was wrong, and otherwise left herself to worry about what had happened. With Aderyn's medical condition she didn't think it was an unreasonable worry.

But she tried to cling to her sleep, at least a bit more if she could. Tendrils of her dreams continued to try and lull her back into oblivion, the strange and the outright weird that she couldn't claim in real life. Something involving parkour...giant robots...explosions? Already it felt like it was fading from her mind, leaving her to grumble and shift beneath the covers as she was pulled from her pleasant hideaway.

Aderyn's call at last roused her from her sleep in the full, and she sat up before rubbing her eyes. Well, not much point in trying to fall asleep again now. She knew herself well enough to know that once she woke up, she wasn't going to get back to that state easily. Brown slippers went onto her feet as she went about getting out of bed. "It's wherever you left it," she called back as she swung her bedroom door open and walked out into the apartment proper. "I haven't touched your shampoo recently." Honestly, it was just the typical morning here, in spite of the festival.

Tartys

For some time Tartys' existence was pain, the feeling like a sledgehammer was pounding at her skull in an unrelenting reverberation that shook her body. Her thoughts were muddled, and there was a ringing in her ears that made it hard to hear anything. Eventually she did manage to haul herself back to her feet though, body swaying slightly as streaks of blood ran down the side of her face from her wound. Dull eyes looked over the battlefield as it developed, while the angel herself focused on dealing with the pain and everything else.

Her teammates weren't much help there, sadly, acting as if she hadn't just been shot in the head. Sure, it wasn't lethal to the point where she was dead, but it did take her out of it for a while. That was why she needed a minute or so of staring dumbly at the armor that had been tossed her way before she could grab it, trying to figure out some way to make it work with her spear.

Just in time too as she found that the robot she had previously disabled was not actually dead, and she shook her head as she jumped back, wings flapping to try and get out of range of it so she could better recover and fight back. That worked well enough until suddenly it felt like she got heavier, and was sent plummeting to the ground, along with everything else nearby as the gravity increased courtesy of the Eclipse Princess. For being their 'ally' she was doing a very good job of explaining why she had been locked up earlier.

"Gah!" She tumbled as she hit the ground, to find that the robot was still coming at them and there was even more to worry about. Her anger and frustration grew before at last she lashed out, slamming the butt of her spear into the ground as she panted. A dome of light appeared around her and Omega, protecting them for the moment so they could recover and otherwise allow the Killa Kan to blow up without there being a problem.

Not that it came up totally in time as a kunai sank into her other arm, earning a cry and pretty much rendering the limb useless. "This could have gone better," she grunted to herself as she got back to her feet, maintaining the shimmering barrier for the moment. "Any plans?"

Alexander Nevsky

Rider nodded in understanding as Richard provided his response to the request that had been posed. It was reasonable in every regard that he could consider it, and given that Nevsky wasn't sure what his master had in mind it was what he expected from this encounter. Now it was all up to Walgrave to work out.

"Excellent," he replied as he followed along, joining them in moving for the cafeteria. There was nothing wrong with getting to know those they would be fighting besides, and he was also eager to see what sorts of foods existed in this modern world. for some reason, being reincarnated from the dead had left him surprisingly hungry, once he thought about it. So ultimately he had no reason to disapprove, and instead he moved after them.

At the same time he sent a message to Walgrave, to inform him of the success of his mission. 'My Lord, I have made contact with one of the Assassin's Masters as you requested. He is willing to treat with you, and is currently headed to the cafeteria. I have joined him for the moment.' Whether his Lord chose to attend was another story, but there was nothing he could do about it. He merely followed along as they went to join the others.

Cecil Lavernth

An eyebrow rose as Cecil found his Servant tossing him one of his swords, which he hadn't expected him to do. He played along though and reached down for the blade. Well, he hadn't really used a sword before, but he was confident that at the very least he wouldn't go and stab himself on accident or something. That was what magecraft was for after all.

He'd barely done anything past that before he found himself resoundingly defeated, the tip of Saber's sword poised at his neck, and he would admit that in that moment he did fear for his life. At this distance, there was no way that a Command Seal could save him in the time that it would take for him to use it. But he was left safe as Saber pulled back, chastising him at the same time while Cecil released a breath he didn't realize that he had been holding.

"You know I wasn't asking to practice against you," he pointed out once El Cid had finished his introduction. Yes, he was definitely impressed, and he would not forget the fact. But there were a few other things to handle too. "I just figured it might help you demonstrate what you can do better." He shrugged then, looking around the room. "It's not that I wanted to hide it from everyone, but more like I assumed there might be an issue with showing off all these skills and such in a room full of other Servants and Masters."

It had worked out though, so he didn't complain too much. Now he just had to figure out where the library was in this place....

Tartys

Things were going very quick, that much was obvious as Tartys dealt with her current opponent. Torag had joined the field, and the demons in disarray had only made their job easier as they could focus down on the Machina. and for the force they had brought, the Machina seemed remarkably undergunned. Maybe they were getting desperate, or just hadn't planned to show up. It asn't any concern of hers though.

She was just coming up when a massive explosion ripped through the air, perhaps bigger than the one that had been used on the demons before. It tore through the battlements, destroying emplacements and ripping through rock to scour the mountainside that was nearby. Even Tartys had to fight to keep on her feet with the shockwave. The light was blinding, and needless to say it did not do the culprit any favors as far as personal opinion went.

"That was-gah!" While Tartys had been remarking about the explosion, she was unaware of being in the crosshairs of the sniper on the airship. As such, she didn't exactly have the chance to dodge. In fact she probably would have died, had it not been for the explosion that sent shockwaves through the air, and the black hole that someone had dropped on the field to alter the trajectory of the bullet. Rather than being killed she was merely grazed, sent tumbling with blood spilling. She wasn't dead, but needless to say she was not in a great place.

Tatiana turned back, only to see that Marquis was staying on the ship and sniping things rather than joining the fight down with them. Alright then, if that was what he wanted to do then so be it. She wouldn't worry too much and instead focused on the fight that was at hand, to do the job she had been called here for.

Listening to the commands of their commander and viewing the map that had been prepared, Tatiana nodded in understanding. "Got it," she confirmed after a moment. It seemed simple enough, and she had no desire to interfere in whatever it was that Bastion was doing. Though she had the feeling that it would be harder to do than to actually say. Well, with that in mind she headed off, following along with the others as they moved through the halls of the volcano.

Fortunately it wasn't that difficult, since most of the defenders were focused on the outside of the mountain. Tatiana had kept from flying in order to not give themselves away, but she had kept her guns at the ready on the off chance that she needed them. She hadn't, but it made her feel better as the group paused momentarily for the commander to go over some things. She nodded in affirmation as they were directed towards the teleporter room, in order to ensure their escape.

It turned out that the room was guarded when they arrived, unfortunate but not impossible to deal with. she prepared herself for a fight even as Hibiki laid out the plan, ready to follow it and do what had to be done to win this. So she stayed ready, and when the duo swung into action she did as well. Wings extended as thrusters flared, throwing her into the room at high speed, and at the same time she lined up the shot and fired in mid motion, striking at the flying angel with her rifle before twisting to shoot at the ones on the ground. The quicker they ended this the better, and she was glad that the training previously was now proving handy.

@KoL@Ryonara
I have EU 4, CK 2, and Vicky 2. I'm less insane than this guy though.
Cecil Lavernth

It really didn't matter that much given the nature of their relationship, but Cecil was glad to see that Cid was willing to go along with his request without needing to be coerced to do so. It promised good things for their interactions, and he was already finding himself comfortable with Saber, even if the man was a bit more protective than might be useful. But he wouldn't fault him for that in the situation. They'd just have to see how he acted when they were in the field.

Hearing Cid's request, Cecil nodded in approval. "I'm sure we could manage that," he reassured his servant as they left the room. The others were as well, but most of them looked like they were headed to the cafeteria. He was sure that there was a library around here somewhere, if only so the Servants they summoned could be educated about the world that they were now in. It was just a matter of finding the place.

But for now he headed for the gym, making the trip fairly rapidly. He was looking forward to seeing what Cid could do, beyond the simple words that had highlighted his abilities. This much could be seen as they arrived at their destination, to find an open gym waiting. "Well then Saber, how do you usually practice?"

@AtomicNut

Alexander Nevsky

It came as no surprise that Nevsky found his presence caught on quickly by the other Servant in front of him, both because he wasn't really trying to hide and also because he wasn't an Assassin himself. he lacked Presence Concealment to hide himself, though in a place such as this he didn't really have a reason to hide.

So he accepted it and stepped forwards, joining the duo as they stood in the hallway. "Greetings," he said to them with a bow of his head, looking between Servant and Master before focusing on the latter. "I am here bearing a request from my Lord. Walgrave wishes to speak with you whenever you have the time." He still didn't have a solid idea why, but he had delivered the message nonetheless. Whether Assassin's Master accepted wasn't up to him.
