As she flew back to the Valley, she noticed something that made her heart sink. Larwen's influence was spreading to her little plot of land, devouring plantlife, turning the view from peaceful to nightmarish.

She sighed.

At least, the corruption had somehow not spread to the immediate area around the cabin she'd made, and it didn't seem to try to get close to it. Maybe her brother had some sort of respect for the creations of others, after all?

From the creation of the Sullied and Unsullied, the further Development of Gremju's little mad experiments, the growth of the ocean ecosystem... It was all moving fast, and this was the best moment to act if she wanted to try to save this world.

She giggled to herself as she landed in front of her cabin, Saving the world makes it sound way more noble than it actually is.

She opened the door and entered the cabin. She took in a deep breath of the homely air and sat down on one of the dining table's chairs. A quick, private message should be enough to summon the one who'd help her, she guessed. Boy, it was handy being a Goddess and being able to telepathically whisper to others.

"Gremju, do you have a moment to speak? I'd like to ask you something in person."

Summary

Aella returns to the Retreat after travelling around the world and sees Larwen's corruption begin to work its magic in her Valley, so she enters her cabin, sits down and gives Gremju and only Gremju a call.

So Agni wasn't a robot, huh? Lea nodded in understanding, now hoping that he'd turn out to be an alien hiding in plain sight. She was about to speak when the last roomie entered the room.

"Hello, I'm Samson, it seems we'll be sharing the room between the three of us. If either of you have any issues with the room or some such, feel free to bring it up."

Being honest to herself, Lea did feel kinda... Outnumbered. Yeah yeah, she was outgoing and loved to speak to new people, but having to sleep in a room with two albino boys was pretty strange. She didn't want to imagine what her mom would do if she found out about the sleeping arrangements. It didn't help matters that one of the boys, Samson, was jacked. In a normal situation she might've been excited to talk to him, but right now...

"I've no issues about the room, though I can't say the same thing for her. Is there any problem you would like to point out?" Agni said.

"H-Huh? Oh, no problem here, yeah-" Lea quit staring at Samson to look back at her own small collection of stuff, "A-As long as I get to keep top bunk! Only cool people are allowed up here!" She smirked, effectively wiping any trace of nervousness from her face.

@Capt0blivious, She's got a very immediate desire to soothe the suffering and grief of anything around her. She does have one dream that she knows is pretty much impossible, which is to get all Gods to cohabitate peacefully.

@Capt0blivious, not so much of a warrior anymore. The last world she was part of ended horribly due to violence, so now she's just a serial-hugger. Kindness is the best weapon after all!

I ask about the weapon because she used to have a spear in her past life, and she might feel inclined to have one again just in case.

Hey guys, I'm sorry about my kinda-inactivity!

Lately I'm spending 12 out of 24 hours with no electricity and the remaining hours of electricity I spend either sleeping, doing legal paperwork or pursuing some personal projects that keep me sane!

I'll try to post soon, but in the case I take too long, feel free to advance the turns without me! In the same manner, if you need or want to collab with me for whatever reason (Aella's not done much so I have no idea why that'd be the case), send me a PM and we'll work something out :-)

Lea opened the door and walked into her new room with a nervous smile on her face. She'd seen boys and girls entering the same room before. Did that mean that she'd be sharing her room with boys as well? After closing the door behind her and turning around, she saw him. An albino guy, the one that seemed bored all the time. Lea sighed and walked toward the bunk beds, climbed up onto the top one and started pulling stuff out of her backpack. At the same time, she spared a few glances to Agni -- she thought that was his name, at least. It could have been Ignite or Ingrid.

Eventually, after a few awkward moments, she turned to look at him fully and spoke, "I'm Lea, are you a robot? That'd be pretty cool. I don't think I've seen you move your face yet." She remained nervous for a second, then giggled and went back to her things.

The problem with zombie fiction is that no matter where the characters are, once they're safe, it's over. This can happen as well inside the city, it's just harder and much less likely to end well.

I have no problem with the characters staying in the city, by the way. I'd just like it if there was an actual reason for doing so.

A couple questions: Is there zombie fiction in the RP world?

Does this RP have a hidden plot, or is it more of a sandbox?

I mean, that is kind of the point of a zombie apocalypse. Sure, our characters might think of finding a safe place, but the thrill of a zombie apocalypse is the whole "struggling to survive in a city with dead things that consider you a bag of potato chips and want to tear right in to you."

Eh, I like zombie apocalypses where the characters are actually smart and try to survive. If one can get out of the city, then one should do so and consider arriving at their destination the end-game. Now, if there was a military cordon all around the city to prevent anyone from going out, that'd be a different story.
