Sooo here we are the much anticipated SHINE CITY SPIN-OFF <3 we are going to take a trip back in time, to 1949 when shine city was a bustling musical city and the most popular spot in the western mainland (shin county today)! The eastern mainland is controlled by the Nero State (Today's Neo City) a powerful industrial nation. Also in the south are the swampy Badllands, and in the north is the beautiful tropical island Harem Resort.

After a major disaster in Shine County, the brave Callista Von Shine orders the creation of the Shiny Squad, Shine City's very own milita made up of citizens from the county, to protect the people and perserve everything they stand for!

As you can tell this is heavily inspired by Valkyira chronicles, and will follow suit in terms of gameplay, this is a part romance part military combat RP, and just like in VC there will be various classes of which to choose how your character serves in the army. (Stormtrooper, Sniper, Scout, Lancer, Tank Driver etc.)

In and between the battle there will be many oppurtunites for love and flirting just like the original shine city, also the focus on music will remain, although instead of modern tunes all music in this RP will be Jazz, Soul, Folk or Classical, keeping with the vintage theme!

Also a fun aspect is that the characters you make for this RP can be the ancestors of characters in the main shine city canon. For example General Kirkpatrick 'Kip' Kelly is the Great Grandfather of Fenton Kelly.

I will be working very hard on this RP trying to get the lore just right, if you are a fan of shine city or VC or new to either, this is absolutely the story for you!

You can belive in intelligent design or even theistic creationism without adhering to any organised religion, do some fact checking before making these claims.

Im not going to keep repeating myself on this but creationism has very little to do with religion, applying biblical literalism to scientific facts is largley seen as a fringe ideology that ties into conspiracy theories about mainstream scientists keeping the public away from god. Almost all christains reject the idea of creationism as it undermines the metaphorical importance of biblical stories.

Now for Ben Carson to think that world is 6000 years old or the world was created in 6 days in the face of astrophysists, paleontologist and biologists, he would have to be agressively ignorant AND very arrogant to think he knows more about the world than a scientist who has trained and studied longer than he has to know about the world. This is why me and you dont claim to know more about brain surgery than Carson because it isnt our field. So he must either think that 99% of the scientists in the world are misinformed or LYING about the facts of the world, which is absolutely insane in any context but especially in the context of someone to run the country.

You cant prove a negative, thats not how claims about reality work. And yes there is physical evidence to prove the age of the earth, Radiometric Dating, Geology and even astrology to name a few.

If I said that I was visited by an anime unicorn, I would need to prove it. But based on what we understand about reality, we would reliably be able to say that I was lying and that my claim was false. That is the same standard we hold the biblical claims to. The earth isnt 6000 years old, and snakes dont fucking talk. These are facts proven with physical evidence.

If you want to infer that some sort of magic took places to bend the laws of reality, then you will have to demonstate how this magic works for the claim to be taken seriously as even a possibility.

oh my god, just because you don't believe it doesn't mean it's fact, jesus christ. we don't know what happened 6000 years ago, because there's nobody alive right now who lived 6000 years ago. once time travel is invented and we can truly determine if there aren't divine beings above us that control and created the world, then you can come back and call all of your opinions fact if you want. i don't believe in god at all, but i'm nowhere near this egoistic.

I'm sorry this sort of logic just does not work OH MY GOD how do you know the Romans existed, or the ancient Egyptians existed or that the american civil war happened...were you there? No. BUT we have evidence that allows us to see the facts of things that came before us, if science was only based on what happened what during our lifetimes then there would be no need to record anything.

The world is not 6000 years old, that is a FACT, its not an opinion. You dont have to have been there to know that.

I can provide plenty of sources on the history and age of the earth if you need citations but I'm pretty sure you already know all this. I'm pretty sure you know the earth revolves around the sun even though you havent been in space.

You cant just paint everything as a subjective opinion. Otherwise everyone. just refute things left and right.

I'll keep an open mind to actual subjective things, not falsehoods and facts.

I'll tell you how it works, back then the science wasnt advanced enough, thats why people thought the sun was smaller than the earth and it rose in the west and set in the east. Now we have testable evidence to prove that's not the way things work.

Ideas are not protected, and your ideas inform your character specifically when you are a politician. I wouldnt want someone that ignorant in charge of my school system, teaching kids to throw out science books and get all your facts about the world from the fucking bible, THAT would be stupid.
