Just a light nudge to those most involved.

"Is it?" Audrey asked, wishing she could compare the shapes of their cuts, but sadly there was only one cut now. Or had there only ever been one? "That's not possible," she murmured to herself, trailing off. Then she turned to Zoey behind the counter.

"Wait, who else did you play nurse for? Was it her?" she pointed toward the door and searched for a name, "Maren? Wait."

She bent down and quickly undid the laces on her boots, then ripped off first boot then blood-soaked sock and put her heel up on the counter. "Was it her foot, did it look like this?"
I am unsure what to do about Miles. I don't like playing other characters, but he could be useful and he's currently tied up with Maren right now.
@Famotill

I actually did still have this subscribed.

If you try the universe again, shoot me a message.
@Kyrisse So now she can notice her hand is healed, and Audrey is bringing her attention to the fact that her hand is now sporting an unexplained wound. Time to put two and two together, at least for her power.

"Thanks," Audrey cut in, as Zoey was about to give the bandage to the wrong person. "Uh, some gauze and maybe an alcohol pad?" When Zoey turned them over Audrey started cleaning her hand, and then bandaged one of the cuts. She needed another and when she asked for it, Zoey turned it over easily enough.

She was looking around, not, trying to see what she might have cut herself on, but she hadn't even been touching anything. There was no blood on anything other than herself and the used gauze. She lifted and dropped her hand in a gesture of surrender. "I don't know what even cut me." She looked at Kassidy, who had touched her just before it happened, "You didn't, like, cut me just now, did you?" She spoke more meekly than usual, but she was completely at a loss here.

I'm posting tomorrow for sure....unless I'm forced to urgent care

Is that likely? Are you okay?
@AbandonedIntel I would love to make that connection, but I don't want to change too much of he background you've built up, and the shop Audrey works at/grew up in was not kind to her specifically because she is female. I don't want to force your character to have that same background.

But, it might me interesting if Aud and Gab have a sort of sisterly resentment thing going on, where Audrey resents her for how easy she has it at the shop.

We could discuss it in PM if you like, try to hammer something out.
So I assume that her shop is not the one that Audrey's grandpa owns?

I mean, it could be, I never named him, so he could be called Joe if he wanted.
Elipses, is the term for that. Fun fact I just learned, each period is supposed to have a space on either side. So . . . instead of ...

Informal writing

In informal writing, an ellipsis can be used to represent a trailing off of thought.

If only she had . . . Oh, it doesn’t matter now.

An ellipsis can also indicate hesitation, though in this case the punctuation is more accurately described as suspension points.

I wasn’t really . . . well, what I mean . . . see, the thing is . . . I didn’t mean it.

Like the exclamation point, the ellipsis is at risk of overuse.

Anyway, lemme get reading that/those post(s).
