Noooo! What have I done? I've gone and created an interest check for an RP! Well, too late to do anything about it now, might as well shamelessly advertise it. Hope to see some familiar faces, 'cause this will be my first time GMing and I'll probably need all the help I can get.
This is a story based role-play about a group of super humans gathered together by the U.S. government to deal with superhuman threats against national and world security. Sound interesting? Than keep reading.
Synopsis: For the past several years, people with beyond human abilities have been appearing on Earth. What these abilities are and how they got them differ per person, but this created a bit of a problem for the world's leaders with keeping order. So, the U.S. government created Meta Operations, or MetaOps for short, to combat these threats to national and/or world security. MetaOps is a covert special forces division made up of a mix of normal humans and these super-powered individuals, who have been designated: meta-humans. Recently, a top-secret weapon created by the U.S. government has been stolen, and since the perpetrators of the crime were meta-human, MetaOps has been chosen to recover the weapon and neutralize the people responsible.

Alright, I'm going to be honest with you. This is my first time GMing. So, I'm probably going to miss something or make a mistake. If I do, please point it out so I can correct it.
1. Basic RP rules are in effect, so follow them.
2. This isn't a free RP it's a casual RP, so at least one paragraph per IC post and please try to use proper grammar and spelling.
3. I don't want to see anyone fighting in the OOC. Period.
4. If you plan to be gone for a few days, let us know. It's no fun for anyone if you come back to find your character dead because we thought you quit without telling.
5. If anyone wants to co-GM, just ask. I'll probably need the help.
6. If I've forgotten a rule that you think should be stated, than just politely say so.
7. Most importantly: have fun. You break this rule, than I sentence you to be hung by the neck until you cheer up.

I thank you all for your continued support. Since the beginning of this RP, we have had trouble keeping everything shipshape due to the unfortunate nature of RPs having player flux paired with the added complexity of four-man teams. While we've not accomplished too much IC, I've had a blast so far. I want our story to continue, but I want it to be something that everyone enjoys, so that no more people need lose interest. I am asking you all right now: where do you want me to take this RP? What will get you hyped for Heroes of Beacon once more?
I agree with @Prince of Seraphs, the mission-thing and the family visitation-thing not the nuke. Both of those should be more than enough to get the less-than-hyped players to be more hyped. If I'm wrong though and it isn't enough, then maybe some kind of hint to a plot of some kind. I know you didn't come up with the original title, but it is called Heroes of Beacon and I can't help but feel that we haven't really done anything heroic yet.
