"I would understand that if we were facing something we could face outright, but all of the reports from the refugees showed that even the most experienced warriors were overwhelmed. While a trial by combat seems like the only way you'd be willing to allow her along, I'll have to object given your reasoning." Troe said retracting his earlier statement after hearing from the others. "It would be foolish to assume her combat ability is going to be of any consequence in a mission that is going to require us to avoid conflict at all cost. Besides, she's only hitching a ride for the trip and...I have a better compromise in mind." He continued. Her ability to fight would likely not be an issue, not that he doubted it anyway.

"Miss, I'd like to ask something difficult...You are a refugee, correct? If so, I'd like to ask a few questions about what you witnessed. Any information, even if it only confirms things we already know could be vital."He turned back towards Artyom. "If she can do that much, I will personally vouch for her passage."

He doubted Artyom would agree to such a trade, but he also knew that it wouldn't matter. He had respect for the tenacity this girl showed, even if it was a bit foolish sounding.

"Besides, I'm not exactly after the money either. I have questions that's answers can only be found back home. That being said, those answers will most likely be quite helpful in our mission."
@PaulHaynek@Leos Klien Hate to hear you two are going, but I understand. You're both welcome to come back if you ever want to, we'll be keeping your characters around as npcs in the meantime.
@fer1323 The chaotic bit sure, but I still have to say that by that logic evil hardly exists (unless you count demons as they're usually supposed to embody it) No, in the end it's all a matter of perspective. I mean, technically Ghetsis was chaotic neutral as he was merely promoting his own freedom to do as he pleased.
@fer1323 Though if we're going philosophical here, killing for fun is about as evil as it gets. If they were just animals you could make the excuse that they don't know what they're doing but...well some of them are quite intelligent. Then you have Froslass that, as the pokedex says: "When it finds humans or Pokémon it likes, it freezes them and takes them to its chilly den, where they become decorations." I mean that's pretty bad, especially since it's an intelligent creature (it used to be human)

Really by that kind of logic, evil would only exist if one was committing these acts in the name of evil...which really doesn't happen (aside from cartoons).
Honestly I'm just waiting for a few more posts. I mean, plenty of folks have a good opportunity to get in on this here.

When Sophia hit the ground, Rheese was already moving. It was sudden, or maybe she had shown signs before and he hadn't picked up on them.

"Shit, Sophia are you okay?" Honestly, Rheese knew the answer he was probably going to get wouldn't be the truth. The truth was that she was clearly exhausted by something. He didn't know anything about psychics or things of the sort, so it was clear to him that he probably wouldn't be of any help.

The only thing he could do was try to get Sophia to get some rest. "Y'know, it is getting kind of late." He claimed despite it only being early evening at the latest. "If we're going to go to the gym we should make sure we at least get some sleep." He glanced at Solanna for support, the day's events had clearly taken a toll on everyone. Now that he thought about it, the throbbing pain from his scuffle with Minior had been annoying him. Unconsciously he placed his hand on the bandage that was supposed to keep his injured rib in check. Normally he'd take it as a sign that he had gone too far that day, but now...he saw the injury as a testament to his weakness. Now that Sophia was distressed as well, he honestly felt even more powerless as there wasn't much he could do about it.

Done.
