sniff And 14 is actually okay, they start training as young as they can and so most start out at anywhere between 14-16. But they are still newbies really it's surviving in a job where your life expectancy is that of a suicidal mayfly and being able to climb the ranks is where the prestige comes in. Because you can train any idiot Magi the skills of an exorcist or a keeper but you can't teach them how to survive.
