I just can't imagine any individual with two loving parents dressing up at night to fight crime. I think there's something inside that changes during tragedy and depending on how you deal with it you either choose to help others or help yourself.

Dead parents are the absolute easiest NPCs to ever play. This is a true fact. Unless they wind up haunting the character, and then everything goes crazy.


You know, I think you're onto something there, that a lot of our's idea of chraacters is heavily influenced by Disney, and other movies / Cartoons we watched as kids. Bruce Wayne doesn't have any parents either.. Anymore. Too soon?

It's like what I say about jogging. If tv has taught me anything, it's that you either find a dead body jogging, or you become one.

RP Characters almost always lose their loved ones. It's so tragic :(


There's really two reasons for it, too!

A) supporting casts, either they're hard for the writer too pull off. Maybe the writer feels like they distract from the "plot" and if every character has 5+ supporting members all the time, why would we play with each other when they could just play with their own characters all day?

and B) Because we, as writers are all hopeful that we can be good people (Or just, like, people.) Despite tragedy, and it's nice to see that in characters we create. And of course, that characters who thrive despite tragedy is cool!

Yeah, I'm pretty busy and can't really find too many opportunities to sit down and write this week, sorry for the delay! But, like I said, please go ahead and move on without me and I'll write Aro in. (Maybe he overslept - he only took a 20+ year long nap, after all!)

So today I shipped off my desktop to my new base without realizing that's where I had my WIP CS draft saved.

I'll doubtfully be able to get that work back with my current schedule before the deadline, so I'll bow out now.

@Lord Wraith In all seriousness (ha) I have a question. I noticed on a few other sheets that people have powers on there that they WILL eventually be able to do with progress? Do we need to put these on there or is it ok if we leave it blank for now?


It's completely fine to leave it blank. You do not need to tell us how you're planning on progressing your powers. It might be developing completely new applications for them, or just becoming more proficient at them. Say, lifting more or running faster as opposed to super-durability or vibration-based powers.

Also, I'm noticing this trend of not tagging me nor Stein. Y'all lazy.

Hey, I'm sorry I haven't posted lately. I've had some work IRL and I'm trying to come up with a character for another RP (Which is taking WAY to much time) but I'll try to get a post up soonish.
