They're higher, because they're not relying on the same stimuli that would have to be a very limited set since we had very few shared experiences compared to our total experiences, plus the methods of constructing the dream by our brains didn't need to be the same.
Requiring the same things from different things lowers odds, allowing for different things from them raises them.
But it also includes the fact that different stimuli had to generate the same dream. That's difficult.

Different stimuli are processed differently by different brains
Different brains put different focus on different memories
So it could have been totally different things that led to the same dream.
But it is fascinating.
Those chances are even lower.

Yeah. I was more referring to the day before and us subconsciously noticing things that then materialized in our dreams but I'm glad you picked up that half in better wording than I could.
I've never found life things to do much in terms of dreams, if I have them at all. It's curious that two people out of a group of a total of only six had the same mindset that generated the same dream based on the same stimuli, despite the odds of first having a dream at all, and then having a dream about MR, then having a dream about Pinkamina, then having the same dream. Those are almost zero.
