@LetMeDoStuff The 13th is when my exams end and I get the most free time ;-; Dang it! XD

But seriously dude, take your time with this. Nobody's gonna rush you and we're certainly not gonna lash out ^-^ I'm pretty sure everyone here knows about the seriousness of mental and physical health, so take your time and I hope you get well soon! :D

Also I'd be pretty happy to co-GM, but I might be a bit busy myself so I don't know if I'd be good for the role :3

Co-GM doesn't need to be as free as me, they just need to be able to assist and deliver information for me and sometimes overlook posting
@LetMeDoStuff
*lashes out*

Anakin, You were the chosen one!
@LetMeDoStuff

I wish you the best of luck with the medication, I was on some stuff that was supposed to help me focus and keep what depression I had at the time down a few years back. It helped, but the period of getting used to it was hard. If you need anything feel free to say something.

I also wish you luck with getting physically back up to strength and mobility!

Couldn't ask for a better response. Thanks for the courage! I'll stick around and post as much as I can when necessary.

This is a message that I believe to be majorly important for you lot to know, just in case my behaviour or activity starts to become sporadic and unbalanced in comparison to everything. I do not wish to say this for attention (Though saying that is like the worst culprit to put me in that position).

Firstly, there's the mental health. I'm being administered strict and high-dosages of pills "required" to keep me somewhat neutral in my mentality. I understand that with the first two weeks of taking them it'll take a bit to get used to them, meaning I may feel like shit and/or have ow activity for low enthusiasm. Now this isn't a guaranteed reaction, but I wanted to get that out as a warning.

Secondly, the more important news. My rehabilitation programme to finally get me walking has a confirmed date and is to last 14+ days. I believe it'll start on November 13th and due to me living in hospitality I may have very low activity, though I'll try to remain as active as I humanly can. Understand that obviously this programme will change my life once more, this time positively. It can sometimes lead to certain users lashing out at people who announce stuff like this, however getting to know you guys has made me ultimately confident you are not as bad as those sort of reactions. If any issues occur or this leads to the downfall of this Roleplay, which I promise you I will try my up-most hardest to maintain because I'm starting to see hope for this wonderful group I have so far, I deeply apologise in prior weeks.

Again, I just want to say a big thank you for bringing this RP to a good start and hope to bring you guys a great experience in this story.

Also I wanna recruit one or two Co-GMs. Please message me if you are interested in assisting me run this Roleplay!

Once Grant and his team had returned to the HQ, there was a cluster of cadets who were now seemingly lost for words at the disaster that was happening. Almost all of the soldiers here were involved or survivors of Shiganshina, if they hadn't come from the upper-classed districts. It was worrying for everyone to be living this nightmare. No doubt the supply room was flooded with the hostiles that preyed on the soldiers and trainees. It was why everyone was upstairs here rather than down there. It was perfect sense. Grant, whilst Jade had wandered off to check on Lauren, began to wander, looking for the wooden-lift shaft. It took only a small amount of navigating, but when he looked down the small edges, he could make our several splatters of blood and the occasional dead body that was yet to be devoured. His eyes widened a thick width, and his mind vomited into his throat. This was it, his first official time seeing what a soldier would eventually become accustomed too. Even in Shiganshina, Grant was blessed with not seeing as single corpse lying around. And now, well...Here it was. Staring up at him, at least he presumed it was, were the cold deathly eyes of the fallen. He couldn't actually make that out, but it was a cold and desolate figure that pushed itself into his eyes and mind like an illusion from the bowels of hell and beyond.

Eventually, he couldn't take it anymore, and returned to the large gathering. More cadets began to arrive one by one, in squads or alone, trying to figure out what they were going to do. Grant saw no-better feeling but to stand at the back of the now crowding group. People were questioning one another, a few arguing over ideas for tactics, but no one was really sure of what to do. No one was. No one ever was. Eventually, a voice came over the lot, a familiar voice. Tanner stood out to the crowd, addressing them that they had the abilities, the inspiration and the skills to pursue a goal and survive. It was just a matter of how.

The room fell silent, aching in its fear to even remotely speak about what to do. The arguments had left most people stumped as to what to do. Grant thought for a short moment about what he saw, about who these people were and who did what best. Eventually, through the silence left by Tanner's short speech, eventually someone stepped forward. Through the crowd, slightly and gently moving his way to where the rest were, Grant had finally emerged from his usual recluse spot that he'd suffered within for the entirety of his training to speak.

"I have an idea..." Grant's tone was low, serious in his mind. As he entered the centre of the group, he gently paced from side to side, thinking and refining his plan as he processed it in his mind. "There's a lift back there, leading directly to the supply room. But it's obvious that not all of us can just go down there and start killing, no...We need something a bit more...thought through. Call my criticism as you wish, but I think we can pull it off this way. We need the most skilled, if not the more skilled, cadets and soldiers to have what gas we have left. Anyone who has a good quantity of gas should hand it to them. Now, I believe we need to mix both the fast and the strong here. Those with gas and ODM gear will be vital, but then saying that...so will everyone."

He paced around, looking everyone in the face every now and then. Grant noticed Jade's on-edge activity, so he wandered over, giving a slight and just audible mumble of reassurance that he wanted to make sure she understood was all he could say to not interrupt his speech and planning being shared with the rest of the survivors.

"Those we'll give the gas too will be in charge of either drawing the Titans away or killing them. I want, if possible, two groups or duos or whatever to handle this. The first will go down first, start herding the Titans into a group and keeping them away from everyone else. Now, now that's the dangerous job...I only think someone should volunteer for this but...but I won't be surprised if any of us back down. The second group will make sure that any Titans that leave this herd get killed as soon as they are far enough. Now, I mentioned a lift earlier, and with that I mean the rest of us will need to control this lift. With those on the ODM gear mobilising and trying to keep the herd moving away from us, we'll need two more groups on foot. We'll keep the lift low so that anyone can return back up when or if shit goes wrong. The fastest of us on foot will have to run over to the gas dispensers and fill up as many canisters as they can. This...this sounds fucking...fucking suicidal now that I think about it...But the second group needs to have the strongest, able to carry multiple canisters at a time to load them into the lift. If we can get as many canisters as possible into the lift, we can try and bring them to this higher level of safety and use them to at least escape this building. Now this plan...this...Plan...I don't know how much you trust me to do this, because I can't guarantee anyone's safety. Never. Those who don't want to participate, don't be afraid to say...You can stay up here and lower or raise the lift when needed. I know the plan is not safe at all, but no plan is ever safe with a Titan down there...So...Do we have a plan?"
I am aiming to get a post up tonight! or at least write most of it then post it in the morning!

Take your time! As said before, this isn't a high-demand post RP. Looking forward to it!

In unison to everyone else, it seemed, Lucas raised his rifle a second time when a third body emerged from the treeline. This time it was far from what he'd gotten so far. A younger male in Marine BDU slandered through, without stating his classification, name, nor alerting him of anything prior to his arrival. A private's insignia sat upon his chest and shoulders. It was an act that seemed to send fumes in the ODST's head. Before he could say anything in response, the frantic medic found her place to speak. This too also began to slowly tick off Lucas, but at first, he allowed it to slide onwards until she was finished. A good fifteen minutes had passed since Lucas had shot the Sanghelli hostile, and since then he had sent imagery and scan reports quickly to an already in-contact intelligence unit that had called in not long after the Corpsman had arrived. He had the results just as soon as he was asked, by the other ODST soldier, but he waited for the time being.

From there, he rose to his feet, lifting his own weight and running a fingerless gloved-hand through his hair. Lucas looked directly at the Private, eyes narrow and quite stern. His look was never considered the strongest nor most fear-inducing glare of all, but it certainly did the job when it needed to. Now was one of those times.

"We may have been left a-strand, Private. But if you don't want to end up with one of our bullets lodged between your eyes, I suggest you follow the corpsman's advice...As for you..." He shifted his gaze towards the frantic hospital corpsman that had already stated what Lucas had to say. "I don't need someone to speak for me. And as far as I am concerned, the only thing you said when walking in was about whether I had any injuries, so don't contradict yourself."

With that being said, he picked his DMR off of the ground, lying where he had been previously, and wandered over towards his pod. From there, he began to grab whatever he could from the inside as the rest stared at him in silence. He was about to answer the Rylei's question, he just needed to make sure his information had been processed correctly before he could confirm any grim news he had to offer. And indeed, it was grim. But at least, he needed to let them know of what they were up against in these specific dark times, especially out alone in the forest like they were now. After retrieving extra gear such as magazines, electrical equipment to suit his technical needs and other disabling ordinances on his disposal, he returned to the three who were only a few metres from his pod.

"To answer your question, Private Xandre...This is not the type of Sanghelli we want to run in to ever again. I sent imagery and technical feedback from my helmet camera to Agile Team, a group of Spartan IIIs that I managed to get into contact with when waiting for the Corpsman to arrive. I needed to know if they still had their AI around, which they did. Managed to send them my readings and, well...I heard something I wish I didn't." He took a knee for a second time, this time using his finger to show the trailings and markings on the Sanghelli's armour. It curved and shone still, despite the holder of the armour being far from alive. "This is what we have started to call an Elite Militant. See these markings? And the oddly shaped helmet? This armour signifies that this elite has been selected for a special task. Digging into this information, the AI found out that Militants are hand-picked by Fleet Master Grazo 'Lovamee to assign as...well like their own personal guards and special operations units. They apparently go for reconnaissance behind enemy lines, stalking, ambushing, are known to master Guerrilla warfare and are sent to clean out those unfortunate enough to be left alone. I guess I'm just lucky enough to still be alive. If you look at their wrists, you see slots for what looked like behind-the-hand energy 'daggers' as oppose to a sword. Quicker and easier to use, I presume."

Finally, Lucas put his helmet back on, but kept his visor in a clean view to ensure they could all still see his face. It was important for him as an ODST and superior to ensure they knew what he looked like, especially when information as bad as this was being told. It was a known fact that the UNSC personnel found it easier to talk to soldiers when they could see their expressions. That's what made it so hard to talk to Spartans all this time. Eventually he looked away from the triage to reopen his comms again.

"This is Chariot 9-4-2, once more. I am making the complete order for Outpost Sierra to be moved upon. Those holding out at Charlie, I want you to also move. From what I've heard over radio chatter, it'll take too long and risk more lives to have a team sent to your location. I strongly order you to all pull back to OP Sierra. I have a small group of survivors myself, and I'll meet you all there. Watch your surroundings. Spread the word. If we lose Sierra, we can move to Yankee, but before that can happen we'll all need to make our RZ point the same spot. For confirmation, move to Sierra. I will meet you all there personally. Chariot 9-4-2, out."

He looked at the trio in his vicinity and smiled through his visor, blinking at them several times, before pointing towards the Private that had arrived last. Lucas' comforting grin showed signs of hope and critical planning in his head.

"Someone give this guy a working weapon or ammo...or something...In the mean time, you heard what I said. We've got the Battle of Oman to win."
Hello all! I am completely brand new to this particular site so forgive me for any relative noob-ery. Also, don't hesitate to correct me if I do something wrong or strange.

I am a 26-year-old housewife who was very into role playing back in high school. Things sort of fizzled out once I graduated and lost touch with many of my role playing buddies. This last year I was able to quit my full time job to focus more on art and painting while my husband took care of finances. Therefore, I have a lot of free time.

Role playing was a major part of my art back in high school. I loved creating new characters with new backgrounds, personalities and looks. I want to get back into that. I have a degree in graphic design and I have been working on making and selling paintings recently but I also love digital painting.

I used to role play mainly on an avatar based site called Gaia Online. I was more into what they called "literate" role plays: that is, what looks to be your casual to advanced role plays. As of right now, I'm more interested in the casual ones. I might go into advanced at some point, but for now, I think casual will be for me.

I've done a wide variety of subjects. My favorites are medieval/fantasy role plays, romance, super powers or super hero role plays, psychological and I do some sci-fi from time to time. I really enjoy original stories/premises for role plays but I'm also okay with doing something based in an existing world with original characters. I like face-paced role plays with plenty of action and adventure. I'm good with both group stories and 1 on 1.

I'm a gamer, especially rpg's (big shock there) and I enjoy fantasy television and movies. I'm very into Game of Thrones right now. I've seen every episode and I started reading the books though I only made it to book 2 or 3...I don't remember, it was a while ago. I also like older Legend of Zelda (I stopped playing the new ones after Twilight Princess came out), the Fallout games, Skyrim, I'm currently playing Witcher 3 (which I got as a gift. Unfortunately, I have not playing the previous two, but I would like to), the Fable games, I played some of the Batman Arkham games, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (the console game, but I also played the mmorpg for a while) and more I can't think of at the moment. As far as movie and tv goes, I like Lord of the Rings, Stranger Things, the Batman universe, Star Wars, Sucker Punch etc.

I would love some suggestions of where to get started. If you have a new role play starting soon or one that just started and needs new members, let me know. I've always thought finding and joining are the hard parts. So if anyone can help me/give me some recommendations, I'd really appreciate it!

As the great Jedi once said...

"Hello there!"
@LetMeDoStuff Grant is easily the smartest of the group, if anyone would come up with the plan of what to do now it'd be him! Have more confidence in Grant he deserves that much!

Not sure where this intelligence came from, but I'll accept it! Time to plan boooooois!
I going to be honest...I have no clue what to post.
