I haven't played much to really give good picks. I will say dead rising 1&2 are pretty fun. Although the first one's time limit gimmick can be a little frustrating at first.

I'd say it depends on your taste in game genres. Can't really give reccs without knowing your tastes. Like say I recommend one of those farming games but you don't care for that genre.

And I'll get to making that post asap so we can move on.
I like to check on old posts just make sure I'm getting things right. Much like I did with the mention of the seed of insight, which I thought was touched on with the PC's but only was found in your NPC posts.
Well I finally got that post out, so now you two can work out posts.

Also I'm still flexible as to what causes the kidnapping but I figured it might be fun and useful for character development. After all I did an unsubtle sign on how to learn more about the character to the group he's with.

Was gonna say he and Chres are like the only two with any secrets, but then I remember The Being of Many Names pretty much spoiled that reveal super hard day 1. Meanwhile I got away because of this secret technique of withholding information.
"Karina it is." He said as he noted her displeasure at being called Karlie. He would then add as he continued speaking to her, "Agreed about this cult needing to be destroyed. Although at this point I think they're spreading, the question being just how far and can we put a dent in their plans. The good thing is we got something of a plan to set-up right? We get you to to the tower, we find out more about this 'watch', and if they're worth a damn we can use them to help find that seed and destroy it. Of course there's more steps in between but something about you tells me you're good at this sort of thing and can probably help fill them out."

The man turned his attentions to Týfurkh who had now began speaking to him. "You can call me whatever you want Týfurkh. People seem to be using DB the most so that'll work for now. As for that mysterious man, yeah I've met him on the first night here in town. There were others there as well. Karina, Chres, the guy with the cat. Popped in and did some weird magic and told us about the incoming attack by the cultists. Said we could either die or join in and live to fight the cult. Told us about the cult and the seed. Then the cultists attacked and well, you know the rest."

As they walked he noticed how empty and sad the town seemed following the chaos. Even more so was the decorations which were half-hardheartedly set up. It occurred to him that perhaps there was a festival or some other event to be happening. He then looked at the group but really addressing Týfurkh's question said, "As for me. Well let's just say buy me some good wine and if we find some quiet time, I'll tell you about my two real names and what's a vagabond like me doing here." Despite the sort of playfulness in his invitation for them to press him on more information, there was a slip of repressed pain in his look and voice. It was suggestive that perhaps he really was being sincere in needing some liquid courage to tell something that was painful to him.

Same.
Must be that spring energy. I'm waiting on Fetzen to respond, but I'm willing to go ahead continue this conversation with 13's character, since there's really not going besides reaching the tower and getting attacked. Gonna take that brief interlude to get some interaction done.
Might be cool.
Figured it would be a good idea to remind others of that plot point with the seed. It's been a while since it's been brought up I think.

Also, the festival sounds like an interesting bit of scenery. Are you thinking of some sort of set piece here or is this just my brain addled by action movies cobbling something up? Also of curiosity would the Gusttium festival be very similar but with more food and perhaps an emphasis on like textures along with flavors?

The man listened to both Týfurkh and Chres' commentary on a possible attack on the cult. They were right in that they needed a plan and some numbers to help with this. He leaned against the wall and thought for a brief moment. A smile appeared on his face as he recalled something important said by that mysterious entity. It was definitely a weak spot that they could strike all right, but they definitely could use some reinforcements. He looked at the two men and said, "You're right, you two. More people and a plan is what we need before we commit to something, especially more people."

He then focused on Chres and said, "Do you remember that night with Gin when he mentioned this Seed of insight? He said if we can find it and kill it, it'll not only disorient the cultists but also rid the town of the distortion, or at least until they make a new one. Furthermore, he already told us to where it might be and how to kill the damn thing. He said it'll be in a large underground space like a basement or cellar, and we need to tear all the hearts out first, hack the stem, and salt the stump. If we can find it and destroy it, it'll definitely help us. Even more so if we end up killing or incapacitating any high ranking members of their cult guarding the thing. It's easier said than done of course. But hey, at least we got a target and the beginnings of a plan."

His attention turned to the Innkeeper when he started to speak about a way to get more people to help. The man's eyes rose up with a glimmer as the Innkeeper spoke about this Watch. While Karina's military could be of use, there was still the issue of authorization and countless other minutiae that could influence on whether or not to act. But a group of rebels within the town? That's much more actionable in his eyes, as well making him just a bit more hopeful knowing the town wasn't entirely lost as there were brave people fighting against the cult. "Is that so? Well I guess we should definitely make friends with them." He said to the Innkeeper.

Eventually Karina,Týfurkh, and him would leave on this task to help Karina deliver her message to the military. As they walked through town, he took a look at Týfurkh and asked, "So, I don't believe we've met before. What's you're name and how'd you get caught up in this?" He then glanced at Karina and said, "As for you, the name's Karina right? I think I heard it said by Chres, or would you rather be called Karlie? I guess this was far from what you were expecting when you came into spy on this little town right?"

I see. I thought so, with regards to character interaction. Not like he has really interacted with Karina either too. But I think he at least knows her name due to The being of many names calling everyone by their name early in the rp I think.
