Bio
Hello! I'm Jones! and if you stumbled upon my page, I must have struck your interest!
I like to think that I'm a storyteller. I joined this site to create characters, and worlds I can put myself in. Every post I make will be to the best of my ability, and I hope anyone who stumbles upon my name can see that :D
Just a few things about me if you couldn't tell already by just glancing at my profile haha:
-I LOVE anything Captain America or Marvel related
-I have been RP'ing for over ten years now so I got some experience
- I do my best to try and have a wide range of RP genres
-I'm mostly do 1X1's and Casual/advanced RP's
-I'm a 20 something year old male high school teacher living in the Pacific North West of the US!
- I love meeting new RP'ers and seeing what we can create together!
- I'm a sucker for romance <3
Like i said previously, I’m a high school teacher, so there are specific times of the year where I get bombarded with things so I might not be on for a couple days, and if that's the case I'm trying to let anyone know so they aren't left wondering.
But like I said I love it when people contact me and ask if I want to RP with them, or have an idea and want my skills, and odds are I love the same thing, so If anyone wants to collab just shoot me a PM!

Here's an example of my writing to give you a sense of my "skill" I guess... I keep trying to get better and better so bear with me!
Benjamin West woke up to a loud alarm, and the sun shining through the window and into his eyes. groaned a little as he hit the snooze button, and fell back down onto his pillow. It was an almost perfect plan, until he heard running down the hall and a small voice. "Daddy! Dad wake up!" Ben's daughter Jamie knocked on his door, and continued down the hall to wake her brother up too.
Ben got out of the bed, running a hand through his messy brown hair before drawing the curtains to view the beautiful Virginia forest. He walked across to the room to a nightstand with a picture of a beautiful woman holding a small boy, with the brightest smile in the world. "Buongiorno mio amore" He muttered, touching the picture lightly before walking into the bathroom, getting ready for the day.
Minutes later he came down the stairs dressed in a dark blue sweater, some worn jeans and sneakers. He didn't have a traditional job in the morning, but he did have the all-time job of being a dad. He made his way into the kitchen, a traditional style that Maria helped remodel. Jamie was sitting at the island, finishing some of her homework. Ben rubbed his hand on her head, and walked to the kitchen. "What will it be, Little One? Pancakes? Cereal, eggs?" He asked, turning on the stove.
"Just cereal..." Jamie replied, hard at work. "Just cereal, you got it... Hey, is Marco up? Marco!" Ben yelled, walking to the pantry to receive some cereal. "Daddy, you're still going to help today, right?" Jamie asked. "Yeah, yeah... wait, help with what?" He asked, handing his daughter a bowl and pouring milk in.
"The school fair is today, and you promised to help, remember?" He had been going through so much recently with the legal papers and Marco acting up in school, that he had forgotten all about the fair! "Yeah, I remember sweetheart... I'll be there. Marco! Hurry up, don't make me come up there!"
A couple seconds later Ben's oldest, Marco walked down, not saying a word, only grabbing a bagel from the kitchen counter. "You get your work done, Big Guy? I'm not going to get a note to sign tonight for bad behavior?" Ben asked, looking over at him as he helped Jamie put things in her backpack. Marco shook his head. "Can we go now? We're going to be late."
"Well maybe if someone came down on time we shouldn't be. Come on sweetheart. Everyone in the car! You all got your lunches, right?"
----
The car rides to school were not the most heartfelt and happiest. It was debating on what to listen to on the radio, mixed with passive aggressive remarks from Marco, to Ben giving a speech on how he needs to help out and grow up. When they parked in front of the school, Marco immediately left without saying a word. "Yeah, Love you too!" Ben yelled after him, getting out of the car to help Jamie out. "Alright Little one, when does your fair start?"
"Five o'clock. But volunteers need to be there an hour early to set things up."
"Four o'clock. Got it. And... what did you sign me up to do, exactly?"
"I don't know, the school figures that out, I just put you on the list!"
"Alright, mio amore, I'll be there. Have a good day, I love you." He gave her a kiss on the forehead before letting her go off to her class. He stood next to his car, watching her meet up with her friends. She didn't seem as embarrassed of him as Marco was, it was probably because she was letting him cope with this all. She was a smart girl, too smart if you asked him.
He looked next to him to see a couple of parents (especially mothers) staring over at him. He was famous in a sense, he made a lot of interviews and did a lot of crazy things on his old show that many people would see him as a perfect human being... But he didn't feel that at all. He gave an awkward smile and wave to the crowd, getting into the car before any of them could dive into small talk. He didn't hate talking to people, it was just... difficult. Especially right now.
He would probably do what he did every day. He would call some buddies he had that were still talking about a new season for his show (and politely turn them down), clean the house, and then apparently help at this school fair. It was a change of pace from what he used to do, but this was still just as challenging.
If you have any questions about my RP's, or future ones just shoot me a PM!
All of these people are amazing writers and friends and if you happen to RP with them consider yourself lucky! XD
and for a final note: THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A HOBBY, NOT A CHORE! I never want to put pressure on you, or myself and make any RP feel like you NEED to post, or have to force yourself to write. This is supposed to be fun, and I'll do anything to make sure it feels that way :)
Peter's plan was to try and find some sort of coveralls or something to put himself in while he made his trek home... but he apparently blacked out, and found himself looking at a pair of legs standing a distance from him. Peter managed to sit up, and his face flushing an ice shade of red when he realized who it was. His girlfriend tossed him the bag, catching it and giving a small laugh at her comment. As he put his clothes on, and she talked about pinching the pipe up, looked up at her. "That's... a really good idea." Peter said. he wasn't amazed that Lexi thought that, he was kinda realizing that he didn't think of that. Man, that suit really messed him up in more than one way.
Once he was fully dressed, and his face cooled down a bit, he grabbed the end of the pipes, and with all his strength, he pinched the ends closed like Lexi suggested. Peter's hair was no longer gelled, but the messy mop that it was before thanks to the fight with the suit, he wore a t-shirt, jeans, and shoes that actually looked like what Peter would where. He then tapped it on a metal railing, hearing hissing in the pipe, making Peter hit it a bit harder. There was a lot he could have said to her. He could have just broken down and apologized for everything he did. But he was too ashamed as it was, and she probably didn't want to hear any of it. He couldn't blame her.
Peter tossed the pipe to Black Cat, picking up his backpack and putting it over his shoulder. He was going to have to take the old fashioned way back home. He was completely fine with that. "Be careful with that stuff Lex." Peter said, not able to look her in the eyes after all he's done. He was still thinking of the punch he threw at Lexi. He won't ever forgive himself for that.
Robert felt a pair of hands and a woman's voice talking to him as he was helped up. It was Marian, and he was glad she would be willing to help the older man up. "No miss, I'm not hurt. Just a bit embarrassed. I shouldn't wander around these parts at this time of day..." Robin felt her hands touch his face to make it look at her. Shivers went down his spine at the touch. He put his hands on his glasses, and lowered them to to reveal his eyes yet again. It was the only thing he had to show that he was in fact Robin Hood... He then put his glasses back on his eyes, and then smiled. "You sound as pretty as you look." Robin said with a smile, and then tapped his cane again to "see" where he was going. "I hear you want to make a certain donation to a Jon Smith. A nice charming man, he is." The blind man said, a small smirk on his face.
"You must really have something on your mind if you want to talk to our friend, even after last night's incident. But like i said before, you've got my interest. What can I help you with, Miss Anderson?"
Peter was in a panic. The Black suit felt like it was fighting against him as he swung somewhere, anywhere to try and get this thing off! Peter was no longer going to sit on the sidelines and let these voices choose his decisions. After being wit this stuff for so long, he couldn't blame Harry, or Rick Archer. This stuff knew exactly how to get inside your head, and focus on your weaknesses. Peter was mad at himself for letting this get the best of him for so long, and in the process he probably hurt Aunt May, Lexi, and god knows what will happen to Flash after their little moment today at school. Then he was hit from the side. He was so focused on the black suit that he didn't even feel Lexi come in and tackle him to a rooftop, but this time, Peter had control to cover her with his body, and let himself cushion her fall. Like old times. But that time was short lived as she backed away from him, and Peter stumbled up as well.
As she talked, the voices in Peter's head started to dim at the mention of Uncle Ben. Peter felt sick, weak kneed, just wanting to to leave before he left anyone else hurt. He never meant to hurt anyone. But the black suit took out the most evil part of him. He hated that so much. Tears were streaming from Peter's eyes behind the mask, but When she mentioned that he had to overcome and take off the suit, and voices started to not whisper, but yell in his head, calling her things Peter would have never imagined. He fell to his knees, holding his head in pain, and in a desperate attempt tried to rip off the black ooze once again. Peter's face showed behind the tentacles for only a second or two before the mask formed again.
"D-Doctor Octavius won't kno-Know what to do..." Peter stammered. He got onto his feet again, and shook his head. "If I have to overcome this, I can't have you, or anyone here. This stuff is desperate, a parasite. It's been on me too long. Its just as powerful as me when its on me." Peter said out of breath, the voices still ringing in his head. "I can't rip this stuff off... Its too strong..." Peter trailed off, because he thought of something, and as he did, the ooze really didn't like it. "NOOOOOOOO!" The mask itself made a mouth, and howled out the scratchy voice. "that's it..." Peter muttered, then looked up at Lexi.
"I... I'm sorry. For everything." Peter said desperately, not knowing if she would accept it after everything he's done to not only the people of this city, but her specifically. Peter Parker would never take a second look at a girl when he had Lexi, but the ooze made him everything that he didn't want to be. "I have a plan, but I need you to stay away from me... I can't let this stuff hurt anyone else... And thank you." The last part referenced to the story she told of Uncle Ben. That gave him hope. He was watching. He won't let him down.
Peter then shot a web, going as fast as he could, looking for a place that was loud. and in no time, he found a construction lot. The workers were hard at work, and he could tell instantly that the suit did not like this one bit. The sound of the powertools going off, the cranes screeching, hammers hitting metal, the suit felt... weaker. Peter looked at his hands, and then started to pull at the suit, the tentacles took weak to instantly form back. It was working! He threw the black ooze off his hands, and before long, his hands and forearms were bare, the ooze on the ground, vibrating due to the noise. The voices yelled again, making Peter fall in pain, but he soon stood up.
He was not going to be controlled by this anymore. He was not going to hurt Aunt May, or Flash, or the love of his life ever again! He thought of the voices he cared so much about. "My hero, Peter Parker""you're so much like your Uncle... He would be so proud of you.""We're leaving for a while, son... Your Aunt and Uncle will take good care of you, I promise." The voices were from Lexi, from his Aunt, and a voice he was surprised he remembered: his father. But the one that meant the most was his Uncle's.
"Come Home Peter, I love you." It was a collection of everyone's voice saying that at once. Peter started ripping at his legs, his thighs bare, and he tried to walk towards a large metal pipe, and with a heavy swing, struck a large metal beam, leaving a large BING! The suit hissed in agony, and Peter ripped at his legs once more. The ooze was angry. It started to jump back on him, but Peter's senses didn't tell him where. He was so used to the suit, his senses thought it was him. He would have to use his own reflexes. Great.
He swatted away patches of ooze that jumped, and this time he started to rip off the part of his chest, screaming behind the mask. It was taking everything from him to do this. He kept fighting, Swinging at things, crashing metal objects to the ground, running in to stuff just to get Venom off him. He tore at his face, yelling in rage for this stuff controlling him, and still trying to stay on, but he could feel that it wouldn't be long before this stuff was defeated. Peter had something worth fighting for other than power.
Peter finally did it. The last of the stuff was off him. The bad part? He was naked. He fell to his knees panting, exhausted. He felt weaker, the voices in his head gone... He was back to himself. He saw the ooze start to form together, and Peter grabbed two metal pipes and banged them together, the ooze hissing in anger, but also becoming smaller, and weaker. Peter looked around to try and find something to contain this ooze. He found a small pipe, some cloth, and rubber bands, and made a very bad container. But it would work for now.
The ooze had little resistance as it was forced in to the pipe, and Peter thought that if he needed to, He could just hit the pipe with something to calm it down if it felt courageous. Peter gave a weak laugh, looking at it. "You've caused a lot of harm to a lot of people... Not anymore. You're venDONE... eh, baby steps, Peter. You'll get your humor back sooner or later." He muttered. Now the next stop was to sneak around this building and try to find some sort of clothes so he could make it home. He needed a nap.
Peter landed on top of the stolen car, the whispers in his head getting louder as his anger built up. He thought about his Uncle, and the man who shot him just for his car. Peter leaned to the side, ripping open the passenger side door, and yanking the man out, not even bothering shooting a web to cushion his fall. Peter calculated that they weren't going fast enough to kill the guy... He then leaned back on the top of the car, his spider senses going off just in time for him to dodge a few bullets shooting through the roof.
Peter broke the front windshield window, ripping the steering wheel out of the car, and tossing it aside, the car going completely out of control as the driver tried to slam on the breaks. Peter jumped off just in time for the car to crash into a street light. Peter walked over to the driver, fighting to remain conscious in the driver's seat. The black suited Spider-Man once again ripped the car door open, and yanked the man out, throwing him on the asphalt. He absolutely hated these guys. While in thought, the man on the ground pulled out his gun and fired, Peter dodging just in time, but he grazed him, leaving a cut, and opening in the suit... But the suit simply connected again with little tentacles. Peter turned to the man, tilting his head.
Peter grabbed him by the shoulders, and then punching the man square in the face, and shoving him back down to the ground. "Whoah! Spidey!" A man yelled. He turned around to see the cops chasing the car have stopped, and for the first time since the first few months of him being Spider-Man, they had their weapons aimed at him. "Take it easy man, you got him. That's some unnecessary roughness." He claimed. Peter just shrugged. "Sorry. Must have slipped." Spider-Man smirked behind his mask, and then he was off.
Peter landed on a roof, taking in the scene. Ambulances taking away the criminals, crowds gathering... This should have made Peter angry with himself. He could have left everyone with little damage to not only the city, but to the people as well. He could already see the Daily Bugle articles now: "Spider-Man a Lose Cannon! Arrest Him!" But the more crooks in jail, the better this city was.
Then his hand was grabbed by something, and he turned around. All he did was smile to see Lexi glaring at him. Was she mad at him? Why? He was confident! Putting people away in the streets! Feeling free and powerful! But that smile soon turned to a frown as she continued to talk. Oh he had a lot to say, but he couldn't get a word in... And then the insults came. The voices in his head whispered harshly in his mind, saying she was a traitor, and dangerous. As you can tell, this left Peter very confused. He would have never in a million years expected to hear those words coming from his Lexi's mouth. His sadness soon turned to anger, the voices and suit taking control. She ran off, and in a blink of an eye, so was Peter.
Normally Black Cat could outrun Spider-Man for a little bit, but with his new senses and power, it didn't take long for Peter to catch up with her. Peter Parker would never hurt Lexi... But the Black Suit had no morals. After a few attempts of trying to get her but not succeeding, he finally planted a string of web on her waist, and as he landed on a building top, he yanked hard on the web, pulling her towards him with all his force. "So you're going to side with him, eh? You're going to side with the cops, and the Bugle, and EVERYONE who talks shit about the Mighty Spider-Man? I am a god! I punish those who do bad! I can do whatever the hell I want! I am not a weakling, and I am very far from being a freak, you bitch!" And with that he swung his fist at her with blinding speed, and full force.
This is when Peter Parker screamed inside his head, in protest of his actions. He was attacking his rock, his hero. He was hurting the one he adored and loved in so many ways over the last few weeks, and it all of the sudden hit him. The voices in his head were gone for the time being. Those whispers haven't been quiet for a very long time.
Disgust, rage, fear, shame, disappointment all washed over him, and he just stood there in frozen fear after his punch landed, with all the regret in his heart. He changed. He was not a god. He was a monster, and he couldn't take a second more of this. He finally looked at his hands, as if examining them for what they were for the first time.
Then the images of the night he first got the suit crashed in his mind. He was attacked by the same ooze that made Harry go insane, that tied Lexi up and almost killed her... Oh god... What has he done?! Who was he?!
"Lex...I...." He barely muttered, reaching for her, but stopping, watching in horror as she flinched and moved away from him. She was afraid of him. He had lost control of everything he was, and what he stood for. This suit gave him power, but in all reality, Peter couldn't care less about that. That wasn't what Spider-Man was about. That isn't what drove him. Uncle Ben was. Aunt May, the kids who wore spider-man masks and the people who slept easy at night knowing Spider-Man would be there to protect them. Most importantly, Lexi Rogers is what drove him... And now, she wanted nothing to do with the man he turned in to. He pulled his hand back, and then instantly trying to rip the mask off, but it didn't budge, tentacles formed around his hand as he tried, but it always formed back to the mask.
He backed away, still trying, but it was no use. He had to take this thing off. In desperation, shame, and the feeling of self hatred, he zipped off the roof, and started swinging as fast as he could. he needed to get this suit off, but how?! Think Peter, Think!
As Marian explained how she received his card, all he could do was smirk. She definitely wasn't a fool. With all the commotion with the police and all, he would have assumed everyone would have forgotten that business card. Of course the number led to his "work" phone, but he didn't need a ton of people calling it to make sure it didn't belong to Robin Hood himself. Marian could be an exception... and I mean, she wasn't interfering with Robin Hood per say... she was simply making a donation to Jon Smith. "Well, I'm impressed to say the very least." Robin replied with a smile behind his phone, still walking down the street. His eyebrows raised a bit when he didn't hear a response to his statement, and then it all made sense. He didn't know who this friend was that she was talking about, but he had a feeling that it involved a very old man that she shared donuts with.
Her invitation to meet with each other face to face was a difficult one. He already had to talk to the Merry Men, and then make sure Cassie wasn't out in the city trying to find Robin Hood and friends. He could already hear John yelling at him for still talking to Marian... Maybe this will help both of them. One last confrontation before he was too dangerous to be around. He hoped he didn't think about this too much. "I think that's reasonable... I think I might be able to make an appearance, not as a sailor though, they only appear in bars at night." Robin said jokingly. "Meet me outside the Grand Central Station in an hour exactly. And don't worry about trying to find me, I'll find you."
They said their quick farewells, and Robin hung up his phone. He didn't know if it was a bad or good thing that she now had Robin Hood's phone number, but she did now. It didn't take long for Robin to make his way in to the small church Friar Tuck owned, and when they met, they met with a hug and smile. "How are you, Robin?" Tuck asked, a smile on his face. "I've been feeling a bit better, Father. Is everyone downstairs?"
Friar Tuck nodded. "Yes, they're just waiting for you." Robin patted him on the shoulder and nodded for the back door. "Come with us. I have a feeling you might want to hear this."
The two made it downstairs to the basement of the church, where a group of people either stood or sat, and then all greeting Robin when he walked in. There were faces like Little John, and Gwen, Will Stuttley (the hacker from the Taylor robbery), and then other loyal people willing to steal from the rich, and give to the needy. "Alrighty everyone, welcome to the Hood family reunion! We got a lot to go over, especially with a Mister Guy Gibson."
Little John stood up and gave them all glances. "He's a federal agent, and has been looking at our robberies very very closely."
"yesterday, I welcomed him to New York by having him pay for everyone's drink in a bar, but like Little John said, he seems to know where we might strike next. With that said, we need to be extremely careful now with our plans. So that means Ty's heist coming upwill have to be fool proof, and with some masters. We'll have to lay low for a bit, stick to the smaller steals from not as important people. No one's going to get arrested on my watch. So for now, I'm still trying to get the cops colder on our trail by sabotaging their files as fast as I can. If you need a place to lie low, my place is always open, but we shouldn't come here to Friar Tuck's place that often, respectfully." Robert said, but the older man stepped up.
"If you are in any trouble, I will be more than happy to help, even with Mr. Gibson on the street." He looked over at Robert, giving him a face of "Don't fight me on this." Robert nodded, and then coughed. "So, any other questions?"
The rest of the time was answering things like how much money they "made", they asked about what the police know and don't, and others commented on Robert only doing this job to see Marian (most of the Merry Men knew that Rob was absolutely in love with the girl). Soon enough people started leaving at different intervals, and then Robert finally left, but before doing so, he went in to a room where a set of different disguises for the Merry Men to use if they ever needed it.
-------
"Money for the poor? Money for the poor?" An older man asked, tapping his cane on the ground, and holding out a tin can. He wore a large green jacket, an old worn out baseball cap. The man was blind, and people payed little to no attention to him as he walked down the crowded streets of the Grand Central Station. Little did anyone know that this man could actually see, and was in no interest in taking money. His agenda was to meet a very pretty girl to see what exactly she wanted to talk to him for. It didn't take long for him to spot the beautiful blonde. He made his way closer to Marian, tapping his cane and asking for money, until he "accidentally" bumped in to a man, and toppling to the ground next to Marian. He was hoping Marian would do something before another kind hearted soul helped him up.
Peter made it in record time, his new suit giving him more speed than ever, and as he got to school, he wasn't so much focused on finding Lexi like usual, but looking forward to going back in to the streets and fighting some crime! He walked by a few girls talking, giving them a wink and smile as he walked by, all a bit shocked that Peter was brave enough to do that, especially since he had the most attractive woman in school. He high fived a couple of more popular kids in school, and then completely ran in to a freshman who had more than enough books. They fell to the ground, but Peter kept walking snickering a bit with the voices in his head. He went to his locker, tossing his backpack and other items in. As his social life became "bigger", his academic one lowered greatly. He wouldn't take notes, didn't even bother with homework, and test grades were very poor. They were so bad, in fact that many of his teachers have confronted him with worry. He would not take any of them seriously though, and the Peter everyone once knew was getting more and more distant.
He closed his locker, and looked to his side to see Flash Thompson putting a hand on... Lexi? The regular Peter suddenly burst out, fear of all Peter has done in the last few days to Lexi... But then those thoughts evaporated, the voices taking over. He was a jerk. He made Peter's life a living hell ever since he could remember. He would constantly call him a freak, that he was so weird that even his parents left him for that. And the bullying didn't stop when Uncle Ben died. Now he was trying to take something of Peter's?
Peter stormed over to Flash and Lexi. "Hey, what's going on here? You making a move on my girl?" Peter asked coldly, glaring at Flash. "What? No, we were just talking... Are you alright, Parker?" Flash asked, suddenly seeing the hatred in Peter's eyes.
"I've never felt better, Flash. Except that I could have sworn you were touching my girlfriend." A crowd was now forming. Everyone was expecting for Peter to be beat back down to his place, but the suit had different plans for this potential fight.
"I'm just making sure she's alright. Says that you've been acting weird. Weirder than how you usually are." Peter looked at Lexi, then back at Flash. "Weird? Come on, you've said worse to me. How about I'm a weak little loser? A freak? That I'll not good enough for Lexi, or my parents?" Peter was inches from Flash's face, Peter was just waiting for him to make one bad move.
Flash swallowed, and shook his head. "What the hell is wrong with you, Parker? Go changing your style, your attitude, pretending to be someone you'll never be--"
Peter grabbed Flash by the throat, lifting him off the ground. The crowd gasped, and screamed a bit when Peter brought him to a locker. "I am so sick and tired of your mouth. Don't you ever know when to just..." Peter's grip tightened on his throat. "Shut up?" Peter's grip slackened, and then with one swing, and a BANG, a very large dent was in the hard metal locker inches from Flash's head. "I am not a weakling! I am not going to let you walk all over me! I am not going to let you take away MY things!" Peter screamed, slamming another fist in to the locker, this time leaving a hole. Everyone was dead quiet. "If I ever see your face again, Thompson, I will really show you just how 'weak and a loser' I am, you you hear me?" Peter asked, and when Flash nodded, Peter casually threw him across the hall, him slamming in to the lockers hard. Man, that felt good!
Peter felt nothing. In fact, he was a bit glad that he finally stood up to that guy. But now he was all wound up. He glanced around at the awe struck crowd, looking over at Lexi, and simply just made his way through the crowd. Normal Peter would have never forgiven himself for that stunt. He would have done anything other than that... But Peter was too far deep in this darkness. He needed to blow off some steam!
He quickly left school campus, before any police or school authorities showed up, and then zipped off in his Black Suit. He zipped through the city with grace and speed until he heard police sirens. They were in a high speed chase... And as everyone knew, Peter hated robbers, and more especially: car robbers.
Robert got home later that night to Cassie passed out on the couch, and Little John snoring on the love seat next to it. They decided to watch a movie; it looked like a marathon of "Indiana Jones", a movie that he and Cassie watched all the time when they were kids. There was also a pizza box on the counter, and a few empty soda cansRobert smiled a bit, turning the TV off as he pulled off the rest of his costume he wore. John did a great job, and deep down, he was a bit disappointed that he missed this... It had been a long time since he spent a night just relaxing. He made it in his room, and climbed in to bed, but he had too much on his mind. Guy was spot on with his assumptions. He didn't even know how the guy ticked, but he obviously did his homework on the Merry Men. He was going to be a handful, and Robert had to get his band together. He rarely got everyone together, in fear that there would be the one time they were surrounded. When the federal government is now involved, it was time to lay down some big rules for everyone...
Then his mind went to Marian, and if she understood just why he had to tell her that. If Robin Hood was found out, Robert Locksley would be revealed as the most wanted man in New York. He already lost everything, knows what it feels like to have a family leave you, and friends, and working back to where he is now. He had nothing to lose when starting this. He just hoped that she would show little interest in Robin Hood now.

The next morning Robin walked out to Cassie eating cereal, and John on his laptop on the couch. "Hey guys." Robert said, walking in to the kitchen. "Hey, Rob... So, John is super cool! you've known him since kindergarten? Can I get a cousin exchange?" Cassie asked with a smirk, looking back at John. Robert laughed and grabbed a bowl to pour some cereal in. "Yeah, I can get the papers from the law firm and we can get that settled pronto." Robert said jokingly. "Everything went alright?" John called out, and Robert nodded. "Yep, just a little hiccup, but everything's good." John raised his eyebrows, and so did Cassie. "What are you guys talking about?"
"I talked with a client last night, had a couple drinks, a little scuffle went on at the place we were at, but everyone left unhurt." Robert said simply. Cassie nodded, looked down at her cereal, then immediately looked back up at Robert. "Are... you wearing eyeliner?" Cassie asked. Robert and John looked at each other, then Robert looked away. "What? No! I've just been a bit drained from the cases I'm working on." Robert said, rubbing his eyes. He had part of his costume from yesterday still on! Damn!
Cassie wasn't buying it, but John distracted her with a random funny video on his laptop for her to come and look at. A bit later everyone was in fresh clothes, and Robert was on his way to "work". He wore a suit, but before he left John and Cassie, Robert stopped. "Hey... I heard a song on the radio this morning. Who sings "the Boys are Back in Town"?" Robert asked John. The Merry Men had a lot of code words, or phrases for different scenarios, and one of Rob's favorites was for assembling a meeting with everyone by incorporating one of his favorite songs.
"Thin Lizzy." John replied, getting the message loud and clear. "Alright, Cass, I'm going to work for an hour or two. I'm trusting you man, don't do anything dumb, and then we'll go get some hot dogs from a vendor and check some places out." Robert said, Cassie gave a nod. "Got it, stay here, and wait to have some actual fun..." She said with some sass, but Robert didn't mind it, it was normal in their family.
Robert had no intention of going to the firm today, he already called in sick, and as he was walking, John was contacting everyone who were official Merry Men members to meet at their usual spot: a small church on the south side of Manhattan. It was run by a very old family friend, Father Tuck. Robert always liked him as a kid, they would just talk about things, whatever was on Rob's mind, and as he got older, he was like the father figure he wished he had, and he was more than helpful when Robert lost everything; even when his church was not doing well at all. Now Robert made sure he helped Friar Tuck in any way he could, and in return, his old friend would give them a safe haven.
Everyone would be there in a matter of minutes, but then his phone ringed. He had two cell phones. One for his personal, every day life, and the other was used for everything Robin Hood. It was 100 percent untraceable, no matter how many times he used it, courtesy of Gwen and the other techy members of the gang. His eyebrows furrowed as her realized that his Robin Hood phone was ringing, and when he saw who exactly was calling him, his heart almost stopped completely. How did Marian get THIS number? He should have been more concerned, fearing that she was trying to call this to get a trace on his phone, or it was guy, or even worse; her father... but he knew she wouldn't do that. Not to Robin Hood.
Robert gave a small smirk, and answered the phone. "This is Jon Smith, are you interested in making a donation today, Miss Anderson?" Robert said, using his go-to alias. Jon Smith was the most common name in the United States, especially in New York. "How on earth did you find this number?" He asked with a small laugh in his voice.
He should have known that some people could have been at his apartment. The Merry men would come and go from time to time, and it shouldn't surprise him to find Gwen sitting on his couch when he got home... Although it was a curveball when Robert brought home his young cousin. She was fascinated by Robin Hood, and wanted to get to meet him, but little did she know that she has been talking to him for a while now, and was now going to be living in the headquarters! "Hey, Gwen." Robert said, pulling off his tie and walking towards his bedroom to change in to something more casual. When he walked out, he was now wearing an old blue baseball tee, some jeans, and some converse. Gwen and Cassie were having a conversation, and behind Cassie's back, Robert rolled his eyes at Gwen's lame story. he would have thought of something much better!
When she talked about the bar, Robert's eyes lit up and nodded. Finally! He was glad to be back making money on his own as a lawyer, but he was also getting restless and really wanting to go out back as Robin Hood and get to helping others out! Robert gave her a nod and a quick wink to show that he appreciated the information. Now it was just the two of them. "Well, I guess I should show you to your room..." He said, Cassie gave a nod. "Well, I got a guest bedroom across the hall from mine, with a bathroom. How do you like that? No sharing for us." Robert said, showing her the way.
"How long did you say you were planning on living here?" Robin asked. "A few weeks." Cassie replied, taking a look around the place. "This place seems a bit too big for just one person." Cassie said, and Robin shrugged. "I get friends that visit sometimes."
"Lawyers have friends?"
"Ah, a comedian... Don't quit your day job, kid." They entered the room, and Cassie soon started to make herself at home. "so you're going out tonight?" Cassie asked. "Yeah... Sorry, I made plans... Didn't really know that you would be stopping by." Robert said with a shrug. "That's alright. Just as long as I can connect to wifi, and you have some good television channels, I'll be cool chilling alone."
"No, I'm not leaving a teenager alone in my apartment." Robert said. Cassie just stared at him blankly. "I literally know two people in New york. that's you, and Marian."
"Well, now you'll know three... Have you ever met my friend John?"
----
"Thanks again for doing this, Little John."
"yeah yeah, you're lucky I grew up with four little sisters... And remember why you're goin there, Rob. Your crush can't mess up our plans." Little John warned.
"Don't worry about it, everything's going to plan... and I'll repay you with hosting the Jets game this weekend, alright?" That got Robert a smile. "Alright, sounds good."
John turned to see Cassie glaring at Robert. "I don't need a baby sitter, Rob!" She complained. "Its not that I don't think you're responsible... Its just for safety reasons. No one's gonna mess with John here. Any robbers, or weirdos that knock on the door won't stand a chance on him. I'll be back later, see ya!"
-----------
The bar was crowded tonight, it was a popular spot for the wealthy here in New York, and with the more potential threat of Robin Hood, everyone kept a close eye on one another, especially the new security they had at the front door. The security would have scared any normal pickpocket... But Robert Locksley was a bit more than normal. A man with peppered black hair with a matching beard walked in. He wore a steel blue knit sweater, black pants, and some nice shoes. His face was weathered and scarred, if anyone were to take a guess, he looked like an old sailor who struck it lucky somewhere. He glanced around the room, his mischievous green eyes twinkling as no one gave him a second glance. This disguise was just as good as the other ones.
When Robert left his apartment he went to a couple who was part of the Merry Men who specialized in movie effects. They made him look like an older man in no time. He then saw his "target." Marian sat at the bar, and he had no intention of starting a "not date" or stealing from her tonight. He made his way over to the bar, ordering the strongest whiskey they had. Robert personally wasn't a fan of this stuff, but his alter ego, "old man Anthony Truman" was. He took his seat next to Marian, but paying her no attention at first. The smell of her perfume lingered around him, and he almost fell to his knees... No, that's not why you're here, Rob!
"Miss Anderson." Robert finally said with a gruff voice, not looking over at her. "We have to stop meeting while I'm on the job." He said again, then glancing over at her, his dark green eyes giving her a playful wink before going back to looking at his drink. "I need you to do something for me. You work at the law firm, right? I have a few set of eyes in there, and heard that this Locksley guy is in charge of finding me, as well as a new federal agent." He talked quietly, but loud enough for Marian to hear. He really needed to say this to her, especially now that his cousin is also trying to do the same thing as her: find the truth about Robin Hood.
"For everyone's safety... especially yours, I need you to stop trying to hunt me down." Robin Hood said, looking over at her for a second, then back away. "You're the police chief's daughter, friends with a lot of people who would love to see me behind bars, and although I'm utterly flattered... You've got too much at stake for trying to help me out."
"Miss Anderson!" Another voice called out. To Robert's surprise, it was Guy Gibson, the FBI agent. He went in between him and Marian, completely unaware that the old sailor was talking to her. "Thought I would check this place out. A bar full of rich guys getting drunk. Not a bad place for Robin Hood to strike, right?" He said with a smile. Robert looked at him, then downed his drink, fighting back the cough. This guy wasn't playing around. Not even a day spent here and he's already predicted where Robin Hood might show up, but he didn't know he was sitting right next to him.
The two started talking, but Robin made his point... hopefully she would stop trying to go to places where he would be. With this new agent here, one of these times it could get ugly. Robin stood up, and waved the bartender over, talking in his ear, and Robin handing him a credit card. He got up, and as he did so, the bartender got everyone's attention.
"Ladies and gentlemen, a round of drinks for everyone! Thanks to our friend, Guy Gibson!" The place cheered as the bartender held up the card. Guy's face went in to shock, and then he searched around for his wallet. He saw it on the table right where the old sailor was... He just got mugged... He saw the door open, and the old sailor looking at both Marian and Guy, giving them a grin and wink before leaving the bar.
Guy cussed under his breath, and ran for the exit, pushing people out of the way with effort. By the time Guy burst through the door, he searched frantically for the old sailor walking or running down the street. But no one walking the streets at night looked like that sailor. Robin Hood just proved that he was going to be more of a handful than he thought.
The rest of that little crime went smoothly. The voices in Peter's head were quiet (No normal person should have these thoughts, but Peter did), and with that, he and his girlfriend went to get some food, and watch the skyline. Peter only lifted the bottom of his mask to eat the hot dog, but before he could enjoy it, Lexi asked a question that he tried to avoid, and the voices in his head hissed. His simple reply was a shrug. "The guy deserved it. I really don't like robbers, you know that." Peter said simply, taking a bite of the hot dog. Normal Peter would have never said that, he would have never smirked at the thought of breaking a hand, and he certainly wouldn't have enjoyed it... but this suit was doing something to him. He didn't really know it, and it really wasn't obvious to everyone else, but the black suit had its own agenda, and Peter Parker has just the power, and authority to do it.
Peter devoured his hot dog. "The criminals just keep getting stupider and stupider these days. Who robs a grocery store?" Peter chuckled a bit. "I mean, Flash could have planned a better operation than them." He stood up, and looked around at the city. "Come on, there's still some more bad guys to catch."
The next couple of days have been weirder and weirder for Peter. He started wearing darker clothes, his messy hair became more and more gelled and styled. He also became more confident, although not enough to get in to fights, but those thoughts were more and more constant whenever someone would talk about him not being good enough for Lexi. When it came to women, though, he was more flirtatious, and as time went on he seemed to be checking other girls out as they walked by, even when walking with Lexi. But Peter never noticed these things. The actual Peter would have been absolutely disgusted with him. Instead of taking his suit off whenever he was walking around, he constantly wore it. it made him feel stronger, more complete. It was a part of him.
He woke up early today for school, feeling refreshed, and stronger than ever! He made his way down stairs in some stylish black boots, nice jeans, a casual vest, and jacket. His hair was slicked back partially, and as he was about to leave, he was stopped by Aunt May. "Peter, are you alright?" She asked.
"Never better, why?" Peter asked, slightly annoyed that she was concerned. "Its nothing, dear just... Well, Lexi hasn't been over much. And you don't even bother eating the breakfast I make you, even though you're up earlier than you have been... I just wanted to make sure--"
"Everything's fine, Aunt May. Lexi and I are good, and I've just been nervous about a... presentation that's due today. I'm sorry. I gotta go, bye!" All of that was a lie, of course, and Peter smirked a bit at it as he left the house, and towards school. Who knows? Maybe this would be Peter's lucky day to get in a fight with some punk that always made fun of him before! He was dying to show that he wasn't someone to mess with anymore...
Robert quickly made it to his office, shoving a few papers and files in to his briefcase as he searched the room for any other important Robin Hood file he could find. Out of all the times for his cousin to try and pull this, it had to be this one. He muttered a few things, about to leave until he heard a knock on his door, and two men entering the room. One was Marian's father, the other was a strong looking man, Robert immediately didn't like this guy. "Robert. Glad I caught you." Anderson said with a nod. Robert gave a smile, but he really didn't want to have a conversation with the chief of police while his cousin was out alone in a law firm.
"Hello, Mister Anderson." Robert said, still holding his briefcase. "What's up?" Mr. Anderson looked over at the man he was with. "I thought I'd introduce you to Guy Gibson, he's an FBI Agent assigned to help us in the Robin Hood case." The man named Guy stepped forward, offering his hand to Robert. "Nice to meet you, Mister Locksley. I read all about your cases back before the little incident occurred." Robert gave a smile and shook the man's hand. "A pleasure, Mr. Gibson... Although, I don't think its really necessary to get the FBI in this..." Robert began, but was stopped. "Oh, Mr. Gibson has worked on a number of robberies all over the country. He's solved every single one, and put the man in charge behind for a very long time." As he said this, Guy stood up a bit more in pride. Robert mentally rolled his eyes. "Wow, Impressive... I'm really sorry, guys, but I need to get going. My cousin decided to visit today, and I have to show her around."
"Alright, we won't keep you any longer..."
"But, Robert, I would like to start on this case ASAP, and I understand you have all the files on Robin Hood. You mind if I glance over them?" Guy asked, obviously eager to start. Robert shook his head, and moved his hand toward the desk. "Be my guest. All the files are there, except a few. I'm taking them home to do some homework tonight. They'll be back tomorrow morning." Robert said with a smile, and moving his way towards the door. "It was a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Gibson, and nice to see you again, Mister Anderson! Have a nice day!"
Great. ANOTHER thing he has to worry about with these guys. What was he going to do now? He can't hide everything forever with a government official! He has so much more power and authority than the local police force! He was thinking about his now fewer options on what to do, when he noticed something. He looked around the lobby, and suddenly panicked. Cassie wasn't here!!
He searched frantically around, completely scared. Another thing! He lost his cousin in New York, and he would have to tell her parents on how irresponsible he was! He ran through the entire building, questioning everyone he saw, almost about to run back to Police Chief Anderson until he saw her walking in to the building with... Marian? Oh no.... He let them finish their conversation, but as soon as it was over, Robert made his way towards Cassie, a glare on his face. "What the heck, dude?"
Cassie looked up at him and frowned. "What?"
"You know what! Where did you go?! I spend the last thirty minutes running around this place!"
"I went to get some cheesecake with Marian. We're friends now." Robert stared at her with shock. "Wh...I... Look, when I say I'll be right back, that doesn't mean that you run around and go get some dessert with people I work with!" Robert sighed, and nodded over to the door. "Come on, lets go."
"Alright... Marian knows a lot about Robin Hood. But she's also really cool. I can see why you like her so much."
"pfft! I like Marian a normal amount. A friendly, non-creepy amount."
"Right... Anyway, if its not weird with you, I think I'm gonna hang out with her from time to time. It'd be nice to hang out with someone other than you."
With that, the two left the building, making their way to Robin's Apartment, which was also the Merry Men's headquarters.
