The Soul beast looked at the two. It bared multiple teeth at them. It moved very slowly across the space that separated them. There area wasn't huge but there was about five feet between the them and the beast. They had some time to make a plan but not much. It would be harder to take this beast up.

A witch appeared in front of the two of them. She laughed at them. While they didn't have their 99 souls this would be a good time for them to practice taking one out. The witch created lightning around them. She didn't hit them directly but the lightning got closer and closer to them.

Griffin nodded to the woman at the door. He didn't have time to welcome her or deal with her. He needed to fight the angels. They couldn't enter the house but they could destroy it. He wasn't going to allow that to happen. This was the only home he had ever known. He wasn't going to allow anyone to destroy it. He hoped the others would help but he knew that he couldn't depend on them. Even if the demons knew each other the humans didn't. Expecting them to care was a lot. He might have to fight alone.

Reverse sacred ground. Demons cant go onto hollow ground. So Angels can't go onto corrupt ground. No one seems to want to go outside which is the problem. So far Secrets is the only one willing to fight. Violence causes violence. This means he can boost the other demons abilities. He might be able to turn the angels against each other. Or get the humans and wild life to attack.
