The man saw nodded when he saw the empath spit him. He hadn't been sure she would be able to. But he had been able to verify her ability to feel emotions. Especially Roxanne's. The boss would be glad to know that the information that Howard had gathered was good. His daughter had been paired with an empath. Unfortunately the woman wasn't very strong. Having the shield imperfect was a double edge sword and too dangerous. So they would wait.
