Has anyone read "Elsewhen" by Heinlein?

Hey, I'm sort of craving a 1x1 based off of the universe in Elsewhen by Heinlein. The short story is also known as Elsewhere.

"Sure." Kyle smiled, a fairly new thing for him to do. He reached out and took a free hand of Siobhan's. This was nice. "So other than saving random strangers in a bar, how was your day?" Most of his day was confidential. Kyle canceled his order of food, but kept the order for the drink.

Kyle bristled a bit at Raven's compliment to Siobhan, but any jealousy he pushed away because the girl was correct. He took the girl's distraction with Siobhan to get a better look at her, but made it look as if he was just watching the conversation.

@McHaggis "I'll go with date night. I still have a report to write up before I get to go to actual bed." Kyle smiled at Siobhan and as Raven came up to introduce herself he ordered a hearty breakfast and a drink (non-alcoholic).

@xXSINXx "I think you were mighty lucky that Siobhan was here. She's a brilliant healer." He winked at Siobhan.

Kyle had had a late night as well. He had been involved in a couple raids, nothing to show for it either. It had been easier when he had just been cleaning out his father's friend's homes, now was different. A part of him was thankful for that, but the tired part was irritated.

Siobhan had mentioned that she would be at The Golden Pelican for breakfast, or dinner, depending on how you wanted to spin it. They hadn't seen each other in about a week now, which a year ago wouldn't have meant much, in fact that would have been a miracle. Since they had started dating they had seen considerably more of each other, not as much as either would have liked though.

No matter how tired he felt Kyle wanted to see Siobhan. He arrived and entered the Pelican just in time to watch Siobhan discard a nasty looking spider. "Probably shouldn't just let it wander off if it is dangerous," Kyle said watching the spider with mild interest, and even milder horror.
