Mary grinned at Dumbledore's blatant request. She did like the idea of maybe getting Celestina Warbeck to come play live and filed that away mentally for later. She did have some fun ideas of what to do for the Ball and hoped she could get the teachers to help her with the magic required to make it work.

Mary looked at Apollo when he asked for information on what skills Dumbledore thought that they had that could be useful. She knew her own abilities and those of her friends but knowing what Dumbledore thought the others possessed would be good to know. She blushed slightly when he complimented her. She was ahead of the curve on her magic. Maybe St. Mungos wouldn't be enough for her in the future. She wondered and then let the thought go.

Dumbledore wasn't wrong about Atwell. As much as Mary hated to give her a compliment, even mentally, Atwell was an incredible duelist.

Niah didn't know what to think of the revelation that Oliver was Thane. She considered his feelings and wanted to comfort him. He looked really upset, and was saying they're dead. She didn't know who they were, but she got the feeling. Boy did she. Bonnie was trying to get him to go with her to Fury's panic room. She hadn't even known there was one, but it seemed like if Fury had a panic room was probably built to survive a nuclear attack.

She nodded and started grabbing stuff that they would need to take care of Sparky. With Tempest in the room they'd have a better chance of keeping her alive so that was good. And they did not have time to synthesis a cure yet. Maghindot. She mentally cursed. Then she looked at Goose. She was gonna have to buy him a big bag of treats after this.

Matthew Moss

Matt pushed Cass on the wheelchair to the Hanger. The source of the explosions. Novi was doing a fantastic job of getting rid of the blown-up ships. This wasn't an external attack. "Cass, whoever did this, they are inside." Matt pulled his gun. "Think you can walk? Stay near me just in case you stumble okay. I'll catch you." He told her, his voice gentle. He would carry her if needed. He looked around the room trying to find who set the bombs. It was possible they had set the charges and left, and Matt came to believe that when he didn't see anyone who didn't look like they belonged.

"Okay, I don't see anyone. Other than Strange. But he belongs here. I'm going to try to put the fire out. Shout if you need me." He told Cass, then looked around for a fire extinguisher. There should be at least one, right? He didn't see it at first then noticed one near the door. That made sense he guessed. He knew there had to be one on the Quinjet, but that would be dumb to get. Matt grabbed the extinguisher and seeing that Tinley surrounded by a fire he ran over to her and put the fire out around her.

The extinguisher gas probably wasn't pleasant, but it was better than the fire. And she had the suit on so she should be able to breathe fine. If that messed with her breathing then what was the point of the suits?

Dalisy Bautista

Tae. Dalisy mumbled to herself. Her sister wasn't there. There was some dude flying around. She didn't think that was weird. Her time on the other planet she had seen some wild powers being used. Like that kid with the puppets. Now wasn't the time to think of that place though. She grimaced. Doing this alone had been a bad idea. Not that she had anyone she could have asked for help. None of her would have.

The agents were doing a good job of containing her damage. The better they were at it the less likely Niah would be joining them. Did Niah trust this team to handle anything Dalisy had thrown at them? Was that why she wasn't here yet? Did Niah know that it was Dalisy there? Was she ignoring her on purpose? Dalisy knew her sister was in the building.

Dalisy was annoyed and angry. This should have worked. She came out of hiding. Seriously there was a woman in a wheelchair? Niah had let a woman in a wheelchair come and not her. "Where is she?" She shouted at whoever would listen. Whichever person reacted to her first would incur her wrath. That was so much a decision on Dalisy's part as her natural state of being. She pointed her gun at the woman in the wheelchair.

Group breakdown

Kyle (9) & Cal (8) - Search room 11
Sophia (4) & Vinnie (12) - Search room 2
Manny (6) & Luke (10) - Search room 7
Tessa (2) & Noah (7) - Search room 12

Z (11) & Raynor(1) & Gordon (5)(chilling in the galley being awesome)

Location: Galley -> Room 7
Skill: N/A

"You should be good to eat your own blood." Manny said, with a half-grin to Vinnie. She was odd, but not the oddest of the bunch.

"If it was the android's card why was it hidden in a fake panel? We've only been here for about three hours. Or at least awake. That's what I meant by she's either been here longer than us, or these rooms were used by other people." Kyle explained to Sophia.

"I think there've been other people here before us." Tessa said. Her face looked a little pale. "There was a brown stain under my sink. I didn't think about it before, but it looked like dried blood."

"Well we've started splitting up. I'll make sure to look at your room too, Tessa." Manny said, he looked at the group. Zarina was distracted messing around with her robot.

"I'll go with you, Manny." Luke said. He felt more comfortable around the guy who seemed to know his way around knives and first aid kits. At least if he somehow hurt himself the guy could help him faster and better than any of the others. Manny nodded.

Tessa shrugged, "Whoever. And whatever room."

"We should stick with the rooms that weren't ours." Manny added. Luke knew he had searched his own room well enough but Manny had a point. This meant people couldn't be hiding things from each other. Manny collected the room numbers everyone had and assigned different rooms for each group to search. "Alright as soon as you're done searching the room meet back here in the Galley. Report back everything you found. Then we'll do another round until all rooms are done being searched." Manny hadn't bothered giving Zarina an assignment but he gave Raynor a look and then glanced at the kid. He didn't want Zarina left alone and while Manny wouldn't say that he trusted Raynor as he didn't trust any of the others. He got the sense that Raynor would watch out for Zarina. He trusted Raynor to do that, and as far as Manny was concerned that was what mattered most. That left Gordon without a partner, but the French guy seemed weird. If he wanted Gordon could join a pair and be a third set of eyes, but Gordon didn't seem inclined.

"Well then let's go." Luke said. He and Manny left and headed to room seven. They searched but didn't find anything that stood out to them. In a nightstand drawer was a photo of a younger Noah with two other kids at what looked like a fair or circus. The other two kids were an older looking boy, probably about seven years older than Noah, and a younger girl, maybe three years younger than Noah.

"I bet it is his family. God, we left people behind. They are probably freaking out and looking for us." Luke looked at the photo, asking it for its secrets, but it said nothing. Just three kids laughing have a wonderful day. Noah looked so young, but it was obviously him. "Do you think he found this when he was in here, before we got let out."

"I don't know. I know I did a search of my room."

"Did you find something in your drawer?"

"Yeah, my dog tags." Manny pulled them up from under his scrub shirt. Luke hadn't noticed them before.

"Military?"

"Army, found a tattoo on my arm." Manny lifted his sleeve showing his tattoo. "Otherside is a caduceus, which for some reason I know that it comes from a god named Hermes. That's why I know I'm a medical professional of some sort. We good."

Luke nodded. "Yeah. We're good. Sorry. I only found a swimmer's cap. No tattoos. I don't think I can get them cause of hemophilia. So I don't have any clues about who I am." Manny shrugged and went back to searching, leaving the photo in the drawer.

Eventually, the pair of them gave up hopes of finding any other clues and left the room. Failing to have moved the mattress on the bed.

Tessa didn't know who of the group she wanted to pair with. She was really with both Raynor, Gordon, and Noah since the other lines of the. She had a pretty good grip on Gordon, he seemed normal. Raynor gave her the creeps. There was something about him that seemed...buried under the surface.

"I'll go with you, Tessa." Noah said. She nodded. That worked. She didn't know this guy well yet. Just that he seemed to know space. He was smart. She wondered what else he knew. Could he get them home?

The pair of them went to room twelve. The room they had been assigned to search. Tessa did the obvious first thing when she started searching and checked the drawer that in her room had held the photo of her sitting on Santa's lap. She still hadn't pieced together the whole memory and hated not knowing who had been in the photo. Had that been her mother? She frowned.

In the drawer was a camera. Tessa didn't recognize it. Well, she knew it was a Polaroid camera but she didn't know much about it. She felt like she should. She felt like the information existed in her brain she just had to beat at the walls that kept her from those memories. She picked up the camera. Feeling its weight. But as she held it the memory slipped from her like water being desperately held in a sieve.

"Find anything?" Tessa asked turning back to face Noah who was coming out of the bathroom.

"No. Same as my bathroom."

"Probably the same as mine. Well, let's go see if any of the others have found anything important." The pair of them left room twelve, Vinnie's room, and went back to the galley.

Galley Group

For the three that were left in the galley, Gordon cleaned up the abandoned steaks and breakfast. He did pour himself another cup of coffee and left the carafe on the table. The hot liquid helped him calm down. He stared considering what to do with the android body. It was clear that whoever had set up this place hadn't anticipated a corpse being left in the eating area.

The little robot made some beeping noises. Its wheels spun in a futile attempt to move. However, when Zarina held it the robot seemed almost calmed. Its wheels stopped spinning.

Rose Buckner

Location: Ranger station

"Thank you." She said relieved. "That isn't too long. I'm doing okay. Got some weird family thing cropping up so I'm gonna be out of town. Can you make sure I get taken off rotation? Don't want to get busted for not showing up for a shift. Thanks a bunch, I appreciate you." Rose was vague not wanting to dig herself into a hole. She figured she could call the Buckners later and give them an idea of what was going on. She didn't want them to get a call from the station sending condolences or something and them not being prepared for it.

"Let's sit outside on the bench." Rose said to Sierra once her conversation with Bobby was finished. Outside on the porch of the ranger station, Rose didn't sit down. She was nervous about everything going on. "Oh, I forgot because of that lady, but is Willow gonna meet us at the bar later?"

Colby Jackson

Location: Car -> Merlin's warehouse
Skills: N/A

The drive to the warehouse was simple, he got there quickly and thankfully didn't get lost or anything. He wondered if that lady in the apartment was a spy or something weird. God this day was just...unbelievable. He pet Jack as he drove thinking. When he finally arrived at the warehouse he parked behind the bus, figuring they should do a bit of reconnaissance before just walking in. He did see the Hood sister's car. So that was good at least that had someone they had a tentative alliance with.

"Chill dude, first I'm glad nothing was stolen. But here's what I suggest. Don't trust anyone. Not a single one of them. Just yourself. Hell, don't even trust me." Colby said frustrated. He needed Matthew to pull it together. "You need to pull yourself together. Don't let them see your weakness. You're better than your giving yourself credit for. So tell me, before I get out of this car, are you going to crumble under pressure, or are you going to be better than it?"

@Morose Okay I'll pull the specialty and just leave slight of hand
The group had not noticed it until it had ended. The air felt like electricity sparked through it and then it was gone. Even for Alexander the air seemed calmer suddenly. Like they had been in the middle of a violent storm that he couldn't feel until it was gone. Now it was a perfect breeze.

The magic in the air brushed against them. Those that were attended to feel it would almost say that it seemed like it was thanking them.

For a moment the magic opened just right that they could see the school in front of them. The storm that had been bearing down on it was dissipating.

"Through the portal quickly," Kade said. Sumi was the first through, sliding out of the portal into a tumble that she turned into a handstand before landing on her feet. There was a light rain drizzling still, and the shingles from the roof were all over the place. The building had been through the wringer, but it was still standing.

Christopher followed Sumi, tumbling a little less fantastically, but managed to stay on his feet.

Kade waited until all were through.

"I've got it. I want the satisfaction of breaking a limb of his tomorrow." She said with a grin, letting the Valkyries clean around her. The lack of specification of which limb could have easily implied she intended on breaking his neck. Not that it mattered here. Death was temporary in the Hotel. She finished her meal and stood.

"I need some time still before we could spar, but I'd be down for the river rapids. Interested?" The afterlife had a lot of options for stuff to do. Dalisy had her favorite things. The River Rapids was good for getting some steam off and was surprisingly fun. It, of course, had great risk. The temporary death of the Hotel was easily available to someone who failed to see a rock or other hazard.

Niah Bautista

"Could do a combination of them." Niah suggested. She could get a couple hundred from her dad, which would be food, and then whatever they got from the monster they took out would give them the transportation fees. She did grin at the idea of a surprise river. Her own imagination about it was a bit grimmer than Nancy's. Since Styx was so tied with imagery of death Niah did not want to be involved in a surprise death river popping up in the middle of a major city. Assuming Fargo was a major city.

With Nancy's vision, she nodded. "Alright we will take care of the junkyard, any extra cash we need to make it to Mount Rushmore, and eat, I'll ask my dad for." That seemed like a good way to handle it. She didn't want her dad to worry about her, but he did love her a lot and wanted her to be safe and happy. Talking with him was always an exercise in not saying too much. Even if he had had relations a goddess it didn't mean he totally understood his daughter's world. "And I get a new book." She held up her finished reading book.
