I'll have something done for this soon. I have an idea of what Master I'll use, or rather reuse, for this. But, I'm still deciding between a canon Servant or not.
So demons are obligate man-eaters? I don’t suppose they could survive off other demons or animals or something. Okay, let me make amendments.

He may have been more conceptual at birth, but has since become a regular devil. He is now so closely linked to his human body that he cannot leave it without some kind of exorcism. If the body dies by natural means, he will remain, trapped in the corpse until some supernatural force like a demon or a devil hunter kills him, or he starves to death. And if he were ejected from the body, he would be something like a ghost, with a defined spiritual form open to attack.

As for the barriers. Each barrier is anchored to a reference location, either himself or a massive body like the Earth. If a particle hits a barrier that it cannot pass through, it will reflect off elastically. His barriers offer zero protection against spiritual or magical attacks, and hold up poorly in the face of such supernatural things. A blessed pebble would pass through and destroy a barrier without shifting in trajectory, but an artillery shell would just ricochet. In other words, someone shanking him from behind with the right knife is more of a threat than launching him into the Sun.

Using the barriers offensively is possible by placing one in front of someone moving too fast to brake. But a barrier will be stopped upon contact with a stationary solid because of the lack of motion in the solid, so it cannot be used like a sword. As for non-combat uses, he can split molecules and atoms apart, and assemble complex structures atom-by-atom over a very long span of time using elements in the environment.

The upper limit in size is around that of a domed stadium for a single contiguous barrier, which is very taxing to maintain for more than a minute. He can also make numerous minuscule barriers, even at sizes not visible to the human eye, but the smaller and more intricate the barriers are, the harder it is to maintain. Barriers the size of human cells would only be able to cover a small door at most. Also, he can only create barriers within his field of vision or around his body, though he can maintain them without looking.

I will tone things down if need be.

I think this could have been worded in a less confusing, or at lease more graceful, way. I feel like he's alright (especially when compared with others in the RP) but his but the description of his capabilities don't sound clean enough I guess.

As for sustenance, it's as @ERode said.

You can live off of other demons, it's just a comparatively worse source of food.
@samakama
Your character is interesting. However, there are a few points, we'd like to address.

The implication that he's a being without any manner of form or substance at all is a little worrying and needs more elaboration. Being basically a thought entity makes him even more invulnerable than a ghost. Even if he has a current body, from the way he's written up, the loss of it doesn't seem like it'll affect him at all.

Also, a better idea of the strength and uses of his barriers would be good, we just want to be sure we are on the same page when it comes to his capabilities to avoid any unforeseen surprises.
Interesting
A few more questions. How are the usual international relations or transfers between DHA branches? I get that various hunters are being sent to Japan because of an emergency (or a developing unusual situation), but are there regular international missions too? If one moves to live elsewhere do they join that country's branch while they reside there?

Wherever there's people, there are politics, intrigue, and the usual power games we know and love. Trying to paint a map of how every possible division/branch would feel in relation to one another is kinda hard. But for simplicity's sake, let's say that even if not friendly, they try their best to not be hostile to one another since infighting would be the last thing the want when there's bigger fish to fry.

Also, the fact that Hunters from other countries are coming to Japan, should be indication enough that it's ok to work abroad as long as you follow the rules.

I forgot to ask this before, but are there enchantments which conceal unusual hunting items (e.g. firearms in Japan would stand out) from mundane people? How widespread is the knowledge about devils among people who have nothing to do with the DHA in any case (does the government know and cooperate)? Do hunters have the cover of being 'special agents' so they can get access to places or have authority over regular people in certain situations, for example if they need to access/evacuate a building?

Depends. There's a limit to how much you can expect to conceal. Maybe hiding a handgun with enchantments and all would be possible (but probably hard/expensive to do), but concealing a rifle/shotgun around would be really hard.

For the most part, demons are legends and myth for normal people, as explained before. There are exceptions, like people who encountered one by accident, etc., but they are far and few between.

As for government and businesses? It's not common knowledge between Hunters and Demons whether such large organizations would know something about their activities. It's certainly possible, though.

But, no, you don't have any working deal with the government or can pass as agents of any nature.
Greetings, is this still open for players?

Yes, we are. You are welcome.
Would a Youkai that doesn't particularly want to hurt anyone be acceptable? I was thinking of a ghost that mostly makes a nuisance of herself and enjoys scaring Humans. More of a trickster than a threat.

Depends on what you mean by acceptable.

If it's as a character in the RP as a neutral party, it's possible since there are Demons that don't want to bring harm to people. If it's as part of the DHA, it's unlikely because they are a human organization, any Demon assisting them, would likely have to be contracted.

• Name: Mako Kurogami
• Title: Weaver of Unshakeable Contracts
• Age: Unknown
• Division: Japan
• Class/Species: Devil Feeder
• Abilities: While the full-extent of her abilities is unknown to none but Mako and her Boss, the most common application of her power is to weave "unbreakable" contracts. While there's no supernatural compulsion to do so, any contract written by her, has to be fulfilled or the part that breaks it will have to pay the agreed price, which depending on the gravity contract in question may as well range from monetary loss, to an eternity of damnation and just about anything in between.
• Bio: Mako is known as for being a non-nonsense woman. As the secretary, or rather personal assistant, of the leader of the Japanese branch of the Agency, she tolerates no pointless foolery and screw ups. Most Hunters will eventually only know this side of her, as she's the person who they have to deal with to collect bounties and payments as well as handle most of the non-trivial paperwork. At the job, she's an absolute professional, no different from any other high-performing white collar worker. Those who get a little closer to her, especially direct coworkers, end up noticing other sides of her personality like her love for drinking and mystery novels. The few who are friends on a personal level might end up even picking up her taste in games, especially the high-difficulty kind.
• Inventory: Her most noteworthy possession is a pen which is supposedly the vessel of her contracted demon, Asmoday, the Lord of Shadows and Contracts.
• Other: N/A
"Of course that blood knight of a sister would wait for that," Haruka followed up on Tomoko's explanation.

"Anyway, you won't be helping us, right? After all, you are one of my sister's buddies, aren't you?" she said, looking at Nya with accusatory eyes. "Next thing we know, that bunny will be here as well to stir even more chaos," she followed up with an observation that would be significant only to the parties in the know.

"Geez! I'll let you deal with the...unwilling guests, I guess? If they are willing to help, it would be for the best. Though, I'm pretty sure the other one will not come back if we let her go. You're the boss here, so you decide what to do," Haruka said to Tomoko after her sister's howling cries almost shook the Silencia out of the sky. "Are you guys coming as well? It may be a little sad for me to say that but I can't quite bonk some reason on my sister's head on my own...I guess," she added, talking to Yeshua and Mako before leaving the infirmary.

A few moments later.

"I'm here already, you know? I'm pretty sure if I took longer you would begin to grab buildings and throw them at us, anyway," the now fully-fledged GMG Diva said in her ever so melodic voice as she appeared before her animalistic sibling with a glorious splash. "What's the big deal? I didn't know it was time for your bath, but if that's what you want, I will get you soaked to the bone. Just don't complain to me later, right sis?"

@Quasi Fine by me either. I suppose you know what to do, right?
