@Marlowe I've been saying that for years and have been met with indifference each time by mod staff.

@Crimson If you both have ghost mode on and friend each other, the system tells you when they're online. It's one way to tell if you're friends with a person.

<Snipped quote by Kuro>
Never had any issue RPing in the Elder Scrolls universe, myself. Some quality of life mods out there, but generally you just need your story in your head and stick to your personality.

Yeah; it's more so sticking to personality/character when it comes to games like Skyrim for me that I have issue with. I can get all enthralled in the setting, but nonetheless I still fall victim to... what would you call it; the "gamer mindset" or something like that? Where you're way more focused on the game aspect over the actual setting/roleplaying aspect. I'll have a noble heavy armor shieldbearer in mind only to just play edgy stealth archer or something raking in gold/steamrolling everything for my benefit, if that make any sense for an example.
Kind of feel like playing Skyrim again sometime, though all the save files I had are long lost. Maybe I could actually "roleplay", like play 100% a stealthy Thieves Guild archer, a College mage, Imperial soldier, etc. Does anyone do or has done something like that before? My characters always end up being everything at once opposed to sticking to a certain build or getting in the spirit of the setting.
@KitsuneWarrior Let's avoid the name calling, and this is a late reply, but:

First, you need to decide if you want humane traps or not. Humane traps are the catch-and-release type ones, obviously. The others are your typical spring traps, glue traps, poison/bait traps, etc.

Unless you plan on releasing the mouse far from your house in like, some kind of field or forest, I highly don't recommend humane traps, especially if you're worried about potential diseases. Sure, it's humane, which is nice. But at the same time, the mouse will just end up finding its way back into your house unless you release it far away. Trust me: I've lived near cornfields and forests all my life. Dealt with my fair share of field mice getting inside.

Personally, I would suggest the traditional spring/snap traps. They're inhumane, yeah, but you can always reuse them if needed (you can reuse the catch-and-release ones, but see above point). These are probably among the easiest spring traps to set up off the top of my head.

Once you get the mouse (and any other mice that might be lingering around), I do suggest looking around your place for any possible way they could've got in and get it filled in. Expanding caulk is an easy fix for that kind of stuff; we did it for a temp fix to cover a hole a snake had slithered in from.

Been revisiting country songs that were popular when I was a kid. Honestly, it's kind of refreshing to hear them again, especially after the "ew, country" phase I had for awhile in my teenage years. We've got a billion country stations here; basically couldn't escape the genre to where it drove me nuts just hearing anything country because everyone was listening to it.
@Bonnie

Meatloaf's alright, in a kind of a "comfort, homecooked" type of way. But yeah, I can also see why people wouldn't care for it. Meatloaf is more or less just a giant lump of hamburger molded together and thrown into the oven. It's also a band/stage name for Michael Lee Aday, but that's a completely different meatloaf we're talking about.

Anyway, I don't think a fully plant-based diet is for me. Like, sure, I wouldn't have a problem with it, but I'd miss stuff like seafood. A pollo pescetarian diet is more fitting IMO for me, which I already tend to fall in line with said diet. All I would have to do is cut out what little beef and pork I eat since I already eat mostly seafood/poultry products. Sometimes even plant-based stuff, like the spicy black bean burgers I've got in the freezer right now.

Cauliflower wings are good, though! Haven't had many opportunities to have them, however. I think the last time I had some was back at a local pizza joint around here.
Racecar (or, alternatively, racecar)
@Kuro If you are confident enough to attempt Finnish, why don't you give Hungarian a shot?

I speak English, German and Spanish. I have attempted Italian, French and a Serbo-Croatian mash up. I just stopped studying them before I got too far.

Hungarian I haven't considered. Might have to look into it.

Personally, I speak English and a decent amount of German myself after four years of HS German. Or, rather, I speak English, but I know a decent amount of German. It's easier for me to read and write German than it is to actually speak it. Anyone who knows/studies a foreign language probably knows what I'm talking about. You know, when your brain freezes up on you and you go "uhhh" trying to piece together a sentence even though you know what you want to say.

As for anything else, I haven't really studied (aside Finnish). I know miniscule fragments of French, Japanese, etc., but nothing so much that would say I know how to understand language. Stuff like "Condottieri" = Italian word for mercenary captains, "Je t'aime" = French for I love you. Simple phrases and/or words I've picked up over the years from media, research and other stuff.
BTW @ everyone the above acc ^ is a spam bot. I highly don't recommend clicking the "runescape" in pink; it's a hidden link that takes you to a spam site. Their two posts so far were incredibly suspicious, but the edit and in turn raw check made it obvious that they're a spam bot.
Welcome to the guild, @ThatLostDude. Anything in particular that you're interested in?
