I'm going to have to take a break for awhile. One of my dogs just passed; we went to bed together like we always do and when I woke up she was gone. I feel awful right now.

Had a fun birthday. Had some alligator tail for dinner, overall was pretty good for a place I hadn't been to before. Will start getting back into the groove of things soon.

If you've wound up here, you're probably wondering who I am. You can call me Kuro, although some of you might better recognize me by one of the several other names that I have used in the past throughout the 11-ish years that I have spent on this forum. I'm a middle-twenties retail manager that is still trying to relive the glory days of their roleplay career while balancing a full-time job with an unsatiable need for overtime. I tend to be open to most ideas when it comes to roleplay itself, be it whatever genre, group size, system, etc. That being said, I often gravitate to anything that falls in the following categories: anime, fantasy, slice of life, superhero or survival horror. If you believe that you have an idea that I might be interested in, feel free to shoot me a link; I'll get back to you as soon as I possibly can. Sometimes I forget to check my messages, so don't feel bad about pestering me again if I missed it. I also have a discord server laying around. Sometimes I go back and reread some old stuff, old roleplays from years ago I still have archived, to get a kick out of those good times. But I've noticed that when I do, not only the top of the page say "1 user" and my name, but also some number of guests viewing the page as well. I was just referencing my old old cs list from like 8 or 7 years ago, and it has 5 guests looking at it. I don't really mind since it's in the public channels but like, who are these people? And how are they finding threads and posts that are almost as old as the site itself?
A) They're actual people hidden by ghost mode or just not logged in.
B) They're bots that scrape or scan web pages, like Google's.
Probably the latter more than likely. @LegendBegins can probably say more on this.

I think Twitch drops are funny. The point of them is to build up hype for a game, draw more people into the community, etc. Then there's me, who just AFKs in a stream on my phone and lets it run just to get the free items. Idc for what xqc or anyone else is doing, I just want the free shit lol

I suggest adding a notification in RP thread creation to warn people about interest checks. Maybe a button that requires toggling to post the thread, or a pop up of sorts? Just so people, usually newbies, stop posting interest checks in the roleplay section. People who are making an invite only RP or whatever with friends or past RP mates can just click and go, but I figured this would sort of clue people into that "hey, maybe you should make an interest check opposed to a roleplay thread first".

Yeah, sure! Just hit me up with any ideas you might have (same goes for @TGM). That said, Holly's probably been busy as of late, so she probably hasn't been around to hang anytime recently. Y'know, with her dad dealing with after effects of losing his wife (and now zombies). She's had to step up and essentially being the parent of the house, which now includes making sure they ration well and no stray zombies find their way inside. Honestly, the rest haven't probably seen much if anything at all of the Holloways since the apocalypse happened since Blake is currently struggling with his own issues and Holly has been busy trying to make sure her kid sister doesn't become zombie chow.
As for a Discord, I do have one laying around that I use as a central location for my RPs. If you guys want one, I can retool a few things for Left Behind.
