⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

"Oh yes of course," Amaranthine said absently as she started looking around for a table or tray or something that could be used in lieu there of. The room was large and she didn't like the fact there was another set of eyes on the both of them but there was nothing that could be done about that. Then again, if some of what others had said was true, maybe it was best to have Quinton in there if Swamp did try anything. Though part of her didn't worry. Again, he had been kind to her and hadn't shown her any signs of being horrid. She wasn't silly though, they were all there for a reason, Blackmail. Maybe he could be and she just wasn't in his sights for that. If that was the case she was going to do everything she could to stay on his good side.

Finally finding a tray and a table with wheels on it she laid the tray on it and pushed it over towards where Swamp was. He did have a nice smile but he seemed rather, shall we say, giddy over this? She didn't know if he was a doctor or not but he seemed to know what the tools were and what he was doing so far. And if titles that they were given were any indication, then he could very well be a doctor. Her title was fitting for herself. "Is there anything else I should do to aid you? I know not what else I could help with." She wasn't exactly trained for something like this. She played and she sang. That couldn't possibly be helpful right then, could it?

Titian chuckled as he brought his hand up and scratched the dark hair on his chin. Leaning back against the wall near the door he had just checked he shook his head. "Hardly concerned with you darling, all butterfingers," he said with a chortle. Two doors into the room, the one they had come in and the one where he was standing by. Only other thing of note right then was the bed that no one was paying any attention to. "At least you're not asking the staff for weapons," he said as he smiled. His eyes fluttered in one direction but he didn't give a lingering gaze to one person too long.

"Only reason I am leaving this room is if they come back for us or if someone in here does something stupid." It was a flat tell. He had no intention of purposefully pissing the staff off. Sure he was big and he could handle himself but there were members of the staff he had seen that were as large as him and one of them was missing a tongue. He found the whole thing funny though. "Oh yes, a list. Sounds right convenient. All of us brought here because of blackmail. Right trustworthy lot." He couldn't help but laugh. There was innuendo and then there was what he had seen first hand. He knew the most dangerous person in the group was in the room with them.

Thana Martin

Thana rolled her eyes a bit at Beatrice when she said thanks mom but she smiled slightly none the less. It was about as good as she was going to get from the woman. Now that they knew she was back, she wanted to go sit down. Just go sit down, lean against Ash and take a breather. That wasn't happening it seemed. She knew what this was about but she thought it would wait at least a few minutes but then again, she knew her dad. Why put off anything when you can do it right now. Nodding towards Panama she walked with the others to the Briefing room, her eyes scanning the room and knowing where she had to sit through this. Sighing she started to make her way towards the front of the room.

Stopping when she passed Ash she knelt down and took his hands. She wasn't sure what to say or if she should say anything. Taking a breath she just smiled up at him as she reached up and cupped his cheek. "I love you," she said softly as she leaned in and brushed her lips to his. When in doubt, just remind him she does love him. Letting go of his hand she stood up and walked over to the table, taking one of the seats behind it. She sat much like she had the day she came to Newnan. Back straight, on the edge of the chair, ankles crossed, hands in lap. Somethings didn't change. Her eyes focused on the door to the room as she waited for her dad to get there.

Tatiana Newnan

Tatiana was a bit perplexed when people were called out to leave. Turning she took note of who was leaving. Ash, Thana, Beatrice, Thalia, Alexander, and Manny. Her eyes narrowed a bit. It wasn't an angered or even worried narrowing of the eyes. It was more like she was thinking on something. "Probably vhy she vas not here. People important to Thana. Make sense. Private. No one elses business," she said to her husband as she looked over to him and then leaned against him gently. Those four had been with Thana for a long time and it was obvious to even the blind that Thana and Ash were in love. Hell it had been obvious they were smitten with each other even the night of the reception. She remembered talking about just what was going on with those two as herself, Jack, James, Miss Sally, Leon, and others were sitting around. Before the whole world got turned upside down for a second time.

Chuckling she looked up at her husband. "Remember our first dance?" she asked him. They hadn't done some slow song. No graceful dance steps. No. Tatiana and Jack did what they did back when they thought Newnan would be around for a long time. They were just bubbly and bright and silly. Their first dance at the reception had been the Chicken Dance. Jack putting on his best dance moves, which were horrible, but hilarious. Looking down at her wedding band she sighed happily. It sucked Newnan fell and everything so much was lost but they had had their wedding. It was a bit of normalcy in a world that didn't have a lot of that anymore. She treasured that memory. And the fact she kept her vows. She promised Jack if he left this world before her she would carry on. She had thought it was gone for sometime but she kept moving forward. She always would.

Wayne Maldonado

You see, it is exactly why Wayne and Hank were Heterolifemates. Shit like this. When you have two over the hill guys with thinning hair and bad attitudes standing there singing about gutting fish and frying them up like it is the worlds worst spontaneous musical, that shit, is bonding. Maybe next time they would find some green tights and show that real men wear tights! Tight tights! And could kick it like the Rockets! He'd have to make sure his seams were straight though, but of course they would be, every time. Oh yeah, he'd have to find that movie. I mean come on, no better movie than a Mel Brooks flick. Hey, wonder if this place has a Sheriff, a black Sheriff, it worked in Blazing Saddles.

Wayne nodded towards Hank. A Nap sounded like a good idea but now he had Mel Brooks on the brain. And well when Wayne's mind is going there really is no pause button or stopping it. You just kind of have to let it run its course. So that was what he did. Moving over to where the VHS tapes were, he was still singing, Men in Tights this time. He seemed a bit disappointed when he couldn't find it but he did find History of the World Part I. That would work! Good enough anyways. Striding over to the VCR he put it in and rewound it. These fuckers needed to learn the BlockBuster motto - Be Kind, rewind! Kids these days. Once it was rewound he hit play and sat down. god he could use some popcorn right now.

Mizrahi looked over as Panama came in and announced the names. He nodded towards Thana as she left but stayed where he was. He knew what this was about. They'd be back soon enough as long as nothing went wrong and if it did he knew she and Gunny could take care of themselves. Victor didn't seem to want to talk, he just shook his head and moved away from Amelia. Moving over to where Tatiana and Ash had hidden out from time to time since the space wasn't being used right then. Major took the door watch as usual as Checkbook was over with Hunter to play pool.

"Yeah, you can play the winner," Checkbook said to Riley with a grin before turning her attention over towards Hunter. "Nikki, well Nikola but everyone calls me Nikki," she said introducing herself. She smirked a bit and shrugged. "Yeah, well I'm the problem child in camp, if I can make it here anyone can," she told Hunter as she chalked up her pool stick. "Shit, it's a lot easier now, when I got here, it was 2 months of solitude in a room with nothing to do. That was a hell of a way to start. If you crack you were good," she said truthfully and rather bluntly. Seemed things were a lot easier now than they had been. "Granted can't blame them back then, shit was hard. Half these people came from outside and well this place was no cake walk in the beginning," she added.

Leaning over she took aim to break and smirked a bit at Hunter as he said he was a bit of a pro. "Oh really? Good, I like a challenge," she said before popping a bubble with her gum. Looking back at the cue ball she took aim and crack. Cue ball hit the rest and broke them, Standing up she watched as one dropped into the side pocket. "I'm solids," she said as she started walking around the table, trying to get an idea of which ball she would go for next. Another aim and another went in. "That's two." She missed the third however and shrugged. "Your turn cutie," she said as she leaned back against the table.

Over in Briefing: Panama stood at the back of the room, shoving his hands in his pockets and huffed slightly as he waited for this whole thing to begin. It wasn't long before Gunny walked through the door. He had a folder grasped in his hand as he moved to the front of the room where his daughter was sitting. Having the two next to each other showed just how closely they resembled each other. More than just the Martin eyes, it was the way they held themselves. There was no doubt that these two were father and daughter.

Dropping the folder on the table he looked at the five that had been called for this debriefing, other than his daughter. The folder was flipped open and he reviewed it for a minute before letting out the smallest of breaths and looking back at them. "On April 1st of this year, Commander Thana Martin left a house in Quincy, Florida after the emergency amputation of Thalia Carmichael's right forearm in search of medical supplies. After an extensive search that traversed an estimated thirty miles, Commander Martin was forced to seek overnight shelter at the Calhoun Liberty Hospital in Blountstown, Florida. On the morning of April 2nd, Commander Martin set out from said location, heavily laden down with medical and food supplies, to return to Quincy, Florida. There was a set back." There was a slight pause.

"On Commander Martin's return, while on the Julie Munroe Woodward Highway she encountered a large hoard of Roamers heading due southeast, just past the bridge that traversed Quincy Creek, less than three miles from the house off Selman Road where she had left Thalia Carmichael, Alexander Polawski, Beatrice Decker, and Emanuel Newman. Commander Martin concluded there would not be enough time to find a secondary route and evacuate said squad from the location in time. In a split moment's decision, Commander Martin decided to act as bait to draw the herd and change their direction." He paused and his jaw locked for a moment before he continued. "While on the bridge, there was an event, of which we do not know the origin, that sent Commander Martin's vehicle careening over the side of the bridge and into the creek below."

He stopped and looked down, flipping one of the papers over in the folder. Swallowing slightly he looked back at the five of them sitting there. "Extraction Team Alpha was out on search and witnessed the accident. Order was given for search and rescue. Commander Martin was pulled from the river. The extent of Commander Martin's injuries were not known at the time. Evident injuries were mass trauma to the chest and arms, severe laceration and disfigurement to the upper and lower right quadrants of the face, and a compound fracture to the right femur. No breath or pulse were detected. Commander Martin's attempt to reroute the herd's direction was successful. Redirecting the hoard north and into the creek. Had it not been for Commander Martin's efforts said house of Selma Road would have been over run." If Thana hadn't left they all would be dead, if she hadn't distracted the hoard the truck on the return would have gone off the bridge anyways and the house still would have been overrun. In the end, her leaving for supplies was the only reason any of them still drew breath.

The man's voice was still steady, he paused and looked down to the papers, flipping another sheet over in the process. As Gunny looked back up and continued. "Emergency field trauma and resuscitation was begun and continued through transport here. On arrival Commander Martin was handed over to Doctor Michael Willis. Thirty seven minutes had passed without detection of a pulse or self-sustained breath." Dead. Thana had been legally dead all that time. "Adrenaline was administered, as well as defibrillation. A pulse was detected and Commander Martin was rushed to the operating room and underwent multiple procedure's in an effort to stabilize vitals." During this portion of the heavy information dump, Gunny slipped out a secondary folder from the papers and stepped out from behind the table. Moving over to Ash and the others and holding it out to him. Within it where X-Ray's and images taken before and after. The injuries were extensive and graphic. A femur protruding from the right thigh muscle, a right side of the face that was unrecognizable, bruising, lacerations. It was easy to lose count of the amount of clearly broken bones in the X-Rays, even for those that didn't know exactly what they were looking at.

Turning, Gunny walked away and back to the front of the room, pulling out a chair and sitting down next to his daughter. "Surgery lasted seven hours and twenty-three minutes. Commander Martin was moved to recovery afterwards. Vitals, while still critical, where stable. After anesthesia wore off, Commander Martin did not awaken. Measure's were taken to make the Commander as comfortable as possible. Placed under continuous watch. On April 7th, a feeding tube was placed." He stopped and leaned back in his chair, rubbing his face slightly. He knew this was a lot for them to take in but it was time they knew everything now that she had returned. It had been a lot of bad news, news he had had to live through. Even for a Martin, it was hard to reign it in when it was someone you loved on the line even if you already knew the outcome. Thana had nearly lost her shit and went down a crack in the earth trying to get to Ash when Newnan fell. If it hadn't been for Gavin grabbing her, she would have died the same way Ryan and James had that day. Even though they knew she was alive now, seeing and hearing all this had to be trying.

Leaning forward, Gunny laced his fingers together and rested his hands on the table. "On May 2nd, Commander Thana Martin came out of her coma. Due to the extent of the injuries Commander Martin was initially unable to communicate. Commander Martin utilized morse code in an attempt to speak." Swallowing he looked more directly at the group than he had been. "Thana's first words where your names." A pause as Gunny looked to the group but his eyes focused on Ash the longest, that was why they were there now being given this information. "Over the next several hours, it was pieced together the events that lead up to Commander Martin's incident and the last known whereabouts of Thalia Carmichael, Alexander Polawski, Beatrice Decker, and Emanuel Newman. An extraction team, lead by Colonel Martin was sent out for search and rescue."

Turning another page and reviewing it for a moment, Gunny continued. "Over the course of the subsequent three weeks, Commander Martin began recovery. Extraction teams were continuously sent out during this period. Teams were sent to the last known positions, which include but were not limited to: Quincy, Zebulon, Peachtree City, and Newnan. Though obviously, we were unable to locate you all." Adjusting the paper slightly there was a pause. "On May 23rd, Commander Martin left bed and began extreme recovery and acclimatization against Doctor Willis's recommendation." Gunny's eyes went to Thana for a moment before looking back at the group. "On June 17th Commander Martin accompanied by Mechanic Aton Mizrahi, whom volunteered, left Camp Mexico Beach on one last search and rescue. It was to be an extended search to last four weeks. They were due back on July 14th." Picking up another piece of paper he turned the page but he was pausing, that was a lot to take in so far.

First Master Gunnery Sergeant Macsen Martin allowed all that had just been dumped onto the five new comers to Camp Mexico Beach set in. Briefing meant he was to let them know what they needed to know. Nothing more. Referencing the last sheet in the file for a moment, he then closed the file before him and stood back up. "It was per the Commander's request that you were not to be given this information until she returned," there was a pause as the Gunnery Sergeant swallowed slightly and looked down, "or we recovered a body if she should perish." Those ever present Martin eyes looked back at the group. "Commander Martin wished if you were to arrive safe to remain safe." The man's eyes seemed to rest on Ashton's far longer than the rest in the group before looking away. He hadn't lied to any of them. He never said she was dead. He said she was there at one point and wasn't anymore. Whatever they assumed was their own assumption. No one brought it up after that or asked more questions.

November 1st, 1943 - Hazy

Ben looked over at Faith and shook his head. "Naw, it ain't. At least from what I've seen," he said before looking back out the window. Granted, he didn't have anything to base it off of but in general everything looking like he had spent way too much time rubbing his eyes couldn't be normal and probably wasn't a good thing. He hoped it was but all things considered, different usually meant bad when it came to shit. Peter was just as stumped as what was going on but thankfully the Hat was able to pull a cane out of his hat. It wasn't a rabbit but a cane wasn't a hard object to do. No working parts, not living, it would work.

"Yes, thank you, that will do quite nicely," Peter said as he took the cane. Sadly that was about all that the Hat could do because he wasn't getting anything about shimmering like this. Not that stuck out anyways. The Watch on the other hand was. Not so much as something from the past, or even with time itself, but with memory. There used to be another Emendator. One called The Glasses. He never spoke about what he saw but he did mention in passing one time that when he was looking the world seemed to shimmer. Maybe whatever was causing a close in the loop was a good thing after all. It might mean things are collapsing but a side effect could be being able to see what they couldn't before. This would at least put them on a level playing field with certain creatures. Thing was, they would have to find one to test this. Last known whereabouts for a Destruere? Egypt.

Deeper Than The Sands

Date: October 6th, 1924

Notes: Remember - all directions are from the Docks. So if you want to go from one to the other you would need to head back to the docks and then go to another place. (Two rounds to get from one place to the docks, two rounds to get from docks to next place.)

To the left they would find the market and bazaar.
Straight ahead they would find the rose gardens and perfume dealers.
To the right there was a sign for Tours to Athribis and Leontopolis. Leontopolis was known for it's ancient tiles. Athribis was known as the birth place of Amenhotep and many artifacts in the museum back in Cairo held pieces from many a dig that had happened there, transported on rails by trains funded by a George Jay Gould. This is also where you will find the main train depot in the area.

Boat (Infirmary): The doctor nodded. "Yes, but forgive me, it was a bit of a shock to have cold water on me then to suddenly see something other than those I knew," he said, sounding both apologetic and snarky. It wasn't every day someone came in after being attacked by a beehive. "Yes, yes, I can, please sit down," he said as he pushed the water out of his face and then shook his head. He didn't know why he fainted. He couldn't remember what had happened to cause it. "let us take a look," he said as he picked up a tower and tried his best to start drying himself off.

"Where are the ones that were here?" the Captain asked but the doctor didn't know, he couldn't even remember other two being in the room and looked confused to what the Captain was talking about. Sighing the Captain looked over towards the guard. "Start looking," he ordered.

Boat (Lauren's Room): Vera looked worried but nodded as she stood there. "As fit as I can be, yes. And please, yes. Call me Vera, tis much simpler at this time," she said looking around. She didn't want to be alone, she wanted to find George and frankly she would rather be out and about. She was feeling better than she had been this morning. Whatever had come over she still wasn't sure but Josephine had seemed to be a good woman and capable, and Reddish while loud at times seemed to mean well. Yes, she was much better with them than alone.

Athribis (Above Ground): The woman that Faye was speaking with pointed over towards a roped off area. It was where Richard had gone thankfully, though Faye wouldn't be able to see that. It was about that time a man came over to the woman. It seemed he was her fiance and he was very relieved to find her but wanted to rush her back to the train as it was about to leave. They both thanked Faye for her kindness before heading for the train. People wanted to get the hell out of there.

Athribis (Underground): Gene isn't seeing or hearing anything down there, it looks like a void of some sortHer voice echoes but not as far as one would think it would and it is so dark one cannot see where a bottom is, yet there was no sound when Bella fell down through it. Only a fog that seemed to come up and then vanish. It was odd. Nora on the other hand is having better luck. As she moves the number there is clicking and they sink in. The wall shakes slightly and at this point it would make everyone worry, considering what just happened to Bella. But yay, nothing bad happens and the wall starts to lift up, revealing a hallway they can continue down. Well holy shit, way to go Nora. Math for the win!

Richard is able to find an old torch that looks like it used to hang on the wall somewhere. It doesn't look like it will last long but hey it is something, that is if he has anything to lite it with. Hey, is his arm still burning? :P Anywho, he does feel that shake that just happened down in the underground. Might want to check that out.

Scotland

Kirkpatrick House: The Lady Kirkpatrick listened and glanced over towards Maeve, there seemed to be a look there but she nodded towards the girl. Almost as if to say that it was alright and she had an idea. "I see, well that does change matters. It seems that this man as a particular proclivity for problems. I know where they were going," she starts before motioning towards Maeve. "She will escort you to them. Miss O'Connor, do have the butler ready the carriage and give him the letter to be mailed," she said as looked back towards Maeve. There was the barest hint of a smile on the womans lips. Maeve could take the girl to Gretna Green and keep an eye on her plus see what Rutherford and perhaps others were up to. While she didn't know Maeve well she did know one thing, the woman would think twice before betraying her due to certain things being in place.

Gretna Green: Veta nodded towards Vlad. She needed holy ground for this since she didn't have her relic. Hearing Constantin she sighed and turned her head towards him. "Кто такая великая княгиня? Это ты? Нет, это я. Я не сказал следовать. Мы имеем дело с этим. Сначала спаси душу, потом разберись с другими." Her voice was firm as she spoke. She didn't have time for this. They had limited time for her to make sure that Ludwig's soul was safe. She was the Grand Duchess. Heir. While she looked to Vlad as an uncle and Constantin as a friend, at the end of the day her word was law and some times she had to remind people it was her place to make the decision, not them.

Vlad would have no problem finding a church. And Ny was right behind Virginia. Ahh the rolls were nice about this. As Vlad spots a church, he sees a pale lady passing right by it. Ny's brow raises. "The Circus is in town?" he says under his breath as he points towards Vlad. Oh happy day, about fucking time the groups started coming together LOL. YAY! Nat 20! Go say hello as Vlad and Virginia are going to see each other.

Rutherford and Millicent keep heading towards the southern end of town. Rutherford seems to know where he is going. Millicent glances over her shoulder and spots William following. She looks a tad surprised but she smiles slightly towards him before looking forward again. Had Rutherford already paid him for his service? Was that why he was staying with them? If he hadn't she wondered why he was trying to stay with them now. Granted the others that were around did seem off and there was a dead body. Maybe he figured it was better to be around two that were alive than one that was dead.

Indiana (Heading For Grimm): "Go ahead," Adelaide said as she drove. If he could use to the time to figure some things out then more power to the man. Wasn't like there really was anything else for the man to do while she drove. Adelaide didn't need a navigator. She was heading towards her hometown, she knew the route. And they really didn't know each other so there wasn't like they could talk about the good old days together. Granted, she really didn't have good old days when it came to Grimm. As they made their way south she chuckled a bit. "Well it's actually just a basic small town that's been around a while. Grimaldi, Grimm, get it?" she said. The town was named for her family. "Well, basic save for all the murders and shit that keeps happening there, and the asylum, and the grave yard that takes up more land pretty much anything else in town, and the abandoned air field. Yeah... horror film location but I think that was what Maloney had in mind, fucking psycho."

Grimm, Indiana (Tinder House): Mali is going to have no issue at all finding several routes to Zoie. Floor plan of the house is simple enough and there is a side door and a back door through the kitchen she can easily see from where she is, open floor space plan on the main floor. Windows are all around, so those are an option as well. Quickest route is through the back door. She can see Zoie out back coming up towards the back door about to enter as she looks around. Caesar is seeing marks on the edge of the front door, looks like it was forced open, doesn't stand out as a straight up break in but enough is there to know it wasn't a key that opened that door. Keystone ain't seeing shit. So bad in fact he steps on a rake and nearly crushes himself in the nose. That was if it wasn't for his bulging pecks lol. They catch the force, keep it away from his nose, and well it doesn't hurt.

"Papi?" a voice echoed in Caesar's head. So familiar, he knew this voice. It had been her first word. Somewhere in the back of his mind, and crawling forward like a day dream visions came forward. Broken but clear. A hallway, dirty and old. People, two. One that lived in his building. It was like he was seeing through someone elses eyes almost. Or someone else's dream. The vision turning until a reflection showed in metal. "Asilo, asilo papi," that same voice echoed from the very lips of the woman they belonged to. Only two words spoken. Asylum dad.

Grimm, Indiana (Asylum Sub-basement): Alicia's head whipped around and she uttered the immortal words, "Bitch, I'm already dead. Don't care about your questions and being around me if bad for your health chica," she said harshly. Then she stopped and placed her hand to her own throat, her head tilting to the side slightly. "Wait, am I dead?" she questioned. "No? Maybe? Fuck," she added as her fingers dropped. During this Priya wasn't really picking up on anything that told where the other person they had been looking for had gone to right then. Riley would be able to see where the elevators were at the end of the hallway, if they didn't work they could find the stairs, they weren't far from there.

Taking a deep breath. "Joder, lo intentaré," she uttered with a huff as she blew her hair out of her face. Fuck it, try. Closing her eyes she tried something she really didn't think was going to work but hell if it did, it would at least answer some of her own questions. "Papi?" she muttered under her breath as she stood there, seeming to concentrate a lot on nothing as her eyes opened and glazed over.

Grimm, Indiana (The Asylum - Outside): Roy looked over towards Cecily, she wasn't picking up on anything out of the ordinary. Okay, no more out of the ordinary than they had already seen. Everything is fucking weird right now but yeah, nothing new is popping out as Roy heads towards the Asylum. Roy sighed and he tried to say something but then stopped. "You know what? I got no fucking clue. Screw it, doesn't matter. We talk, we make a plan, we get there, and all hell breaks out. Plans always go to shit. Fuck it. We go in, find Riley and Priya. We get out. That's the best I got," he said as they pulled up to the asylum. It was kind of funny in a bad way because it was true. Planning had gotten nothing. Everything always went to hell. Fuck it. Gun, keep Cecily behind him, find the others, tell this town to fuck off. Go to the Bahama's.

The place looked old and run down and it was. Been there for a long time. Had been open and closed a lot over the years. "Oh great, looks like fucking Arkham," he said as he turned the car off and opened the driver door. Standing up he checked his weapon and looked over towards Cecily before letting out a breath.

Watching Dr. Swamp, Amaranthine quirked a brow. He seemed like a kid for a moment the way he was when he put on the lab coat. It was odd and she wasn't sure what to make of it but as with most things that evening it was hard to tell just what was going on. She simply nodded towards him. "You are most welcome and I hope you are able to. This evening has been nothing if not a complete disaster. I came here hoping to end one problem and it seems now I am caught up with so many more," she said as her eyes darted around the laboratory. She did not like this room, it made her feel uncomfortable but Dr. Swamp seemed to feel right at home from what she could tell. At least, if anything, he didn't seem to be put off by it.

Then he started asking for things, many of which she had no idea what he was talking about. Yet she had offered to help him and if that meant finding things for him, she would do her best. The sooner they were done the sooner they could move on and hopefully away from the corpse that was laying on the operating table. "Yes, of course, I will do my best," she said as she started moving around the room. A rolling table wasn't hard to find and while she had no idea what she was picking up. Anything with some look on it like it would be of use she picked up and laid it on the table. Pushing it around with her and setting more things on it. Half the stuff she picked up was of no use but she did manage to find at least some of the items he had asked for.

"I am sorry but I don't know what most of these things are called, you'll have to enlighten me," she said in a charming voice as she pushed it over to Dr. Swamp. As far as she knew he had done what he did for the right reason. If he did just kill the man, then it was best to be on his good side. He had yet to be hostile against her, so out of everyone, he was the closest thing to having someone to trust as she could have in this place.

Titian looked over at Cobalt and chuckled a bit. "I'll take my chances with the people of the house. Sorry between them and this group, they aren't the ones killin' folk. So go ahead, have fun with that. Good luck," he said with a grin. Titian wasn't the brightest in the group, by far, but he knew one thing. He had seen two murders straight out so far and both of those were committed by people that were part of the whole shouldn't be here tonight group. He'd tried to cover for one already but that was blown off so no need to try again. Sure, some seemed to be going along with what Cobalt was saying but he wasn't buying it. He wasn't going to get stabbed in the back by trying to work with these people. Better to have your own back, at least then you knew what was what.

Turning his head as he heard something drop he looked over towards Penance and smirked. "Aww drop something?" he said as the smirk turned into a broad smile as his eyes glanced down at the weapon she dropped. So people were armed, at least one was in any case. Walking along the wall, he moved to the opposite end of the room and to the door opposite of the one they had entered through. He was sure it was locked but it didn't hurt to try. Yup, sealed. Looking at the door he was pretty sure he could break it down if he needed. Leaning back against the wall next to it he watched the group. If shit went down, he'd give it ago. If they ended up killing each other, it wasn't his problem.

There was a glance from Thana at Thalia's words and she smirked a bit. "Yeah, they like to cause problems," she said in passing. She wasn't touching the playing with herself comment with a ten foot pole. At least not in front of a bunch of people she didn't know. She might later though if Thalia and her weren't around so many. That was one of things that made them get along, they were a tad more private about some things, or at least said them under their breath. Granted right then Thana was finding it hard to be a snarky and sarcastic. Her eyes going over to Ash for the briefest of moments. She was happy right then and it was hard to be a hard ass when most of your will power was spent on trying not to smile like a damned fool.

Thankfully Manny was doing that for her. He meant well but between him trying to salute her and his words he was stumbling a bit in her opinion but he was a decent guy and had saved two people's lives over the course of the trip that she knew of, so she respected the man. Turning her head she smiled at Alexander. Returning the salute and nodding. "Good to see ya Mugsy," she said, referring to him by his callsign. Or at least the one she met him with. Then came Beatrice. Looking at the woman, she nodded and shook her hand but she wasn't leaving it at that. She pulled her in tight and whispered. "I left you in charge for a reason, because I knew you had it in you. I'm proud of you," she said in a hushed voice. Leaning back she let go of Beatrice's hand and reached into her duffle bag. Pulling out a can and handing it over to Beatrice. "Saw this, thought of you," she said as she tossed it over to her. It was a can, a can of something special, it was a can of those oh so special O's.

Tatiana Newnan

Tatiana kept laughing. She was finding the whole thing hilarious as hell. She was seeing a side to her brother she hadn't seen before. He was more relaxed, she was happy, he was being funny. Looking over at Jack she grinned brightly. "Didn't knov Ash could be as goofy as you," she chuckled. It was true. No one alive really had ever seen Ash like this. She had heard rumor of it, that he was a laid back kind of guy. Fun to be around, especially when he was off duty and relaxing. She had chalked all that up to the something along the lines of an urban legend. Maybe once based on truth but had fallen away to something that just wasn't true at all anymore. Thinking on it, she wished James was there. It would have done him good to see Ash like this. Who knew, maybe he was somewhere watching them and knew. Something in her told her that he was, some how.

Looking back at Thana as she was talking to the other people she smiled a bit softer. She had gotten to know Thalia a little bit since they all came together and it was good to see her knew friend a bit happier. She still didn't understand the term Zed but didn't matter. She figured it had to do with the dead, at least she hoped it was. Zed, dead, made enough sense in her mind. Her head turned slightly and she caught a glimpse of Victor. Something was up but she wasn't sure what. She wasn't going to go over there right now. Maybe she would talk to him later and see what was up. Seemed with Ash feeling better, she had one less so called patient. Then again, she wasn't a counselor anymore. She didn't have the same compassion she once had.

Wayne Maldonado

Location: Camp Mexico Beach: Quarantine (W: Conference Room)
Skills: N/A

"Yeah, half picturing his ass getting shot tonight trying to sneak into her room," Wayne chuckled over towards Hank. Hell he would have. Sure the woman was scarred up to hell and back on her face but she was still pretty enough and from the way Ash was looking at the woman he didn't seem to give two shits what had happened to her face, that man had just gotten his jollies. Oh shit, she was Navy? He had just gotten his Jolly Rogers off, diving deep into her locker. Oh yeah, under the sea, under the sea, darling it's better down where it's wetter, take it from me. Wayne was humming the song and snickering his ass off at the thought. Well if the song was telling truth, Ash was much better off in the sea. ALL ABOARD! TOOT FUCKING TOOT!

By the time Hank had mentioned a fishing boat, Wayne was rolling around about thanks to his own internal monologue. It took him a moment to even process what was said to him. "Fuck yeah man." He liked that idea. Granted he was on a Little Mermaid kick right then and started singing to himself. Okay, not to himself. Just singing the chef's song from the movie and being really damned animated about it. He didn't care. Wayne zero fucks given Maldonado was just enjoying himself. The man was bat shit crazy, sure enough. Acting like he was chopping and gutting fish as he sung. What the rest of the world didn't, or maybe they did know, he had his little buck toothed friend in his hand pretending to do the same. Not that he would ever really hurt Ol Happy but it was fun. Hey? Nothing else to do.

Major kept watching them, just in case emotions got to high but from the way things were handled around there, or at least seemed to be handled, even if it did get bad they would stay out of it for a while. Nothing had happened so far that they had stepped into the middle of. Nearly at one point but stood back none the less. Checkbook was over by Mizrahi and tapped his wrist band. "Hey, how long?" she asked.

"Bloodwork," he said and she nodded.

"Oh so like tomorrow? Cool," she added before popping a bubble. "Anything happen?" she asked. He shrugged. Her brow raised and she leaned forward. "Anything happen?" she repeated. Mizrahi looked slowly over towards Thana, his eyes staying on her for a bit before looking away and not responding. "You're no fun," she said in a huff before standing up and looking around. She needed to do something and skateboarding right then wasn't an option. Shew as still on duty as it were but duty was more spread out now. Sure Mizrahi wasn't armed but he was part of the community. Thana was armed, so she was obviously part of the guards now. Yeah, she was quarantined now but that side arm meant she was on duty. So there were 4, well kind of. Enough for this group she figured. "Hey you, wanna play pool?" she asked Hunter as she walked by him and started racking the balls. If he did great, if he didn't, then she would just play by herself.

A few more minutes passed and the door swung open. It was Panama. Looking at the paper in his hand he gave a glance towards the group in general as he flicked his hat up. "A'right, let's see. Um, Polawski, Newman, Decker, Carmichael, Holloway and," he read off the paper before looking over towards Thana. "Sparrow. Come on, Gunny wants to ya," he said as he motioned with his finger. He waited for them before leading them out of Conference and down the hallway. A bit down was another room marked Briefing. Holding the door open he stepped inside and flicked the lights on. It was a medium sized room with chairs set up in a semi-circle. A table at the front with two chairs behind it. Other than that there was nothing else. Leaning back against the wall by the door he relaxed a bit. "A'right, have a seat. Gunny be in shortly."
