Keep moving forward ۩
⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

New York, New York, USA: November 5th, 1943

Siduri kept the other carnivale folk at bay while Faith got cleaned and ready. Most of the women in the carnivale were not exactly worried about privacy but when half of the women in the troop were part of the hooch, privacy wasn't exactly something that was a main concern. Siduri however knew Faith was not that type of woman. Forward, upfront, brazen at times perhaps but she couldn't picture Faith putting on a peep show, so privacy was a priority while the young woman showered and readied herself. Even Siduri kept her head turned away from the area until she heard Faiths voice. Turning her neck slowly and giving her a once over, she nodded. "Yes, a very nice fit. You wear them well," she said as she stood up, reaching up and twisting a single lock of hair back out of the girls face. "Perfect."

Looking around, she motioned in a direction. "Let us begin. Night is here, monsters will be out and they are not as mindless as those from your time," she said as she started walking. Ben coming around a corner and carrying a small bag that looked to fit the time. It was like a carpet bag one might have seen Mary Poppins carrying in the movie. "Thank you Ben, we have it from here. Faith is more than capable," she said as Ben held out the bag to faith. "I shall give you a run down of each weapon within and what to look out for while we walk. All else fails, beheading works wonders on most all Kindred," she said as she started walking once again. Kindred, that was a term Eve had spoken before when they were in New York.

Babylon Fortress, Cairo, Egypt: October 6th, 1924

Special Note: That Haze will remain until further notice, so make sure to keep to it. ^_^
The haze had fully spread through out the country of Egypt now and like with other areas, Cairo isn't responding well. Chaos in the streets as people think a new plague has found it's way to Egypt. People are running, trying to get away from the haze, which they cannot of course. Running into buildings, into homes, trying to get off the streets but only causing the streets to become more and more chaotic. Peter sighs but keeps looking around. If the Haze is here and if the suspicions are correct, that means that they might be able to see Destruere. Not seeing anything, he motions towards a now unmanned display. "I hate to be a petty thief but when in England as it burns, pillage like a Viking," he said as he started gathering clothing for the group hack at the fortress. Maybe clothing wouldn't matter now that people had other things on their minds. Thing was, Peter felt the clothing was now more needed. The last thing one wanted to do when a city was in a panic - stand out.

Back at the Fortress itself, while they can hear the people in Cairo, none seem to be moving in the direction of the fortress itself. Which is good. Also, what is good, is that if the Destruere can be seen because of the haze, no one is seeing any of them currently. Which is a good thing, no weapons, being split up, things aren't exactly in the groups favor. LLA seems to be playing nice this round and giving you time to prepare. Or to let you let your guard down. Who knows with her. Either way, Haze is there, things seem calm. Emendators are feeling a pull in their gut towards the northeast, Nancy must be in that direction. There is a new pull though, so the northwest. It is faded though. Which for an Emendator means that it is either far far away or in another time line. There's another Emendator? Eve maybe? One could only hope.

Boat (Infirmary): The Captain looked over towards Mosi and nodded. "Yes, we should get you to open air just in case. Can she be moved?" he asked the Doctor.

"Yes, if she feels up to walking of course. I can move her to the Sun Deck, this is just removal of stingers now," he said as he held his hand out to the woman. "We can move you right now if you feel up to it," he said. The Captain nodded and looked over to the guard that was with him.

"Escort them to the Sun Deck, I am going below deck to check with Engineering to see if there is a leak or something else we need to be worried about," the Captain said as he rubbed his eyes before walking out. The Guard nodded and waited for the Doctor and Mosi before escorting them out of the infirmary and up to the Sun Deck where while it was hotter and in the sun, they were at least in open air. Thing was, it didn't seem to be helping. The Haze was still there even with clean air and one could see people panicking below on the docks because the Haze was effecting them as well.

Boat (Thief's? Room): Vera scooted back as Reddish came to and sighed a bit. "I handed the watch to Miss Clark and worry not about the language sir. I would have said the same after everything. Your secret is safe with me and I doubt uncle would hold it against you," she said as she took the journal of hers and started flipping through it. Seeing if it was in tact and if everything was there. It seemed to be by first glance but then she stopped about half way through the journal and she gasped. "No! It's gone!" she exclaimed as she stood up and pressed her back to the wall of the room. She kept flipping back and forth in the journal to see if she had missed something but she hadn't. "No! Why!" she called out, rather upset by the fact that whatever she was searching for was in fact missing and she hadn't just overlooked it.

Athribis (Underground): The Underground is as it was. The Haze is still effecting everyone down there. Gene is feeling an odd pull back in the direction they had set sail from, it is an odd feeling but one she had felt before. There is no sound coming from the pit that opened up and swallowed Belladonna, so if she is alive and is trying to call for help the sound isn't traveling enough for anyone to hear her. Time is marching on, so the group is going to want to decide if they should press on and risk getting lost down there to see if they can find Bella and some answers or hurry back to the boat in the next few rounds so they don't miss it. There is also the option of sending one back to the boat to see if they would hold dock, though with the Haze going on, it would be general protocol of a ship to not set sail in adverse conditions so their chances of the boat refusing to leave the docks tonight is high.

On The Road (Heading Towards Gretna Green): There was a knock on the carriage door and the driver waited a moment before opening it. "It's going to take me a few minutes to get the road cleared enough for us to keep going, just hold tight," he said, letting the two women in the carriage know what was going on before closing the door and getting to work. Normally he would have probably needed a hand to help him as carriages were not exactly light things to move but considering the amount of damage done to the carriage and that it still had two wheels left on it, he was able to take one of the horses off their traveling carriage to help move things off to the side of the road and into the ditch. It was about twenty minutes but once it was finally cleared he climbed back on top of their carriage and started on their way again. The only real good thing about taking the time to clear the road was that by the time they reached the outskirts of Gretna Green most of the people that had been panicking in the streets were now in their homes or in businesses panicking, at least they were off the streets. "Where too?" the driver called down to the women in the carriage. He wasn't sure where to go from here.

Gretna Green: "All moments are great tragedy to the right person," Ny said before looking over at Ludwig. "We try not to follow a single faith when we know so much. The more you know the less you trust in the unknown and the more you trust in what you do know," he said. It was a simple way of saying that those of German training didn't pray to any god in particular. "Our knowledge is our god."

Veta sighed and nodded. Thankfully for them it wasn't hard to get to the church doors. Once they had, Veta dismounted and quickly rushed passed the others to find Vlad and the body of Ludwig. Time was of the essence now, if he were to change it would be horrible but change always took three days but the thing was, with everything going on, would that process be sped up? Veta wasn't counting anything out at this point.

Millicent kept close to William as they moved up to the church and nodded. Barely able to side step the Grand Duchess as she rushed towards the church. "Last I saw her there was a tiger," Millicent said quietly towards William before going into the church and looking around, her weapon gripped tightly in her hand. She hoped that them being on holy ground would give them a moment to breath. From what she could tell Rutherford wasn't following her. "Virginia!" she called out as she spotted her old friend. "What are you doing here?" she asked as she quickly moved over to the pale woman.

Veta nodded towards Vlad. "Da, yes, need time," she said as she rushed to the front of the church where the cross and holy relics were located. Pushing the unlit candles from the alter she looked back to Vlad. "Move body here," she said as she started to gather what she felt might help her, sheathing her blade as she went. She was used to doing this with a family relic but her egg was with the circus. It wasn't with her. She would have stopped to say hello to Virginia and ask about Myska but now wasn't the time. She had to tend to Ludwig first and foremost.

Grimm, Indiana (Tinder House): "Your guess is as good as mine," Adelaide said as she closed the door to the SUV. "I don't think so. They're just Marc's parents. Pretty normal people, grew up hanging out there. Just your typical Ozzy and Harriet," she said as she started to walk slowly towards the door. That was until she froze in her tracks when she heard the scream and the gun fire. Zoie heard it too and started tearing down the stairs from the second floor and down to the main floor.

"What in sweet Jesus!" Zoie yelled, loud enough for Adelaide to hear. Adelaide's eyes darting over to Robert. Well Mali might never been really trained to use a gun like a Marine Sharpshooter but fuck that. Sometimes when shit hits the fan you just can do what you need to. Like a mother lifting a car off her child that has gotten run over. And so Mali's shot hit the Clown Bitch right between the eyes and dropped her like a bad habit. The large body standing there for a second before the lard tub of lard dropped to the ground dead with a line of blood streaming between her eyes and her brain matters splattered along the back wall of the basement. The balloon popped just as the clowns last breath left her body.

Grimm, Indiana (Asylum Stairs): Roy was more than happy to let the two new comers to the group handle the door. He had already lost a fight with it. And it seemed he wasn't the only one that would. Even Keystone couldn't get the damn thing to open. Well when muscles don't work, blow shit up. Or at least shoot at it. It seemed that was Caesar's approach and it worked. Roy braced himself for the noise. It echoed through the room and down the stairwell as the door opened. The sound of Caesar's voice screaming about Papi being here echoing down the empty Asylum. Caesar was able to make his way down two flights of stairs quickly with Keystone in tow, nothing else popping up until they reached the point where Alicia was hanging like a pinata with Priya trying to reach her to help her back up.

Roy took off with them and down the stairs, keeping an eye out on anything that might pop up and watching to make sure Cecily was close to him and out of danger, well as much as one could be right then. Hearing Riley Roy slowed down and spotted the shit storm that was going down between the two rifts. "Well shit," he said as he saw Alicia dangling there. "Wait, I thought she was dead?" he said asking but not expecting an answer. She obviously wasn't dead. She was alive and kicking, and yelling. "Mother fucker," she yelled through a grunt as she tried to keep ahold of the railing. Her fingers were starting to slip.

The sounds of holding back the probable tide of vomit kept emanating from Amaranthine as she bent over the container. Dry heaves that threatened to turn into something more drastic and volatile at any moment. Quinton seemed to not want to be there when she finally threw up and left the room, left them alone. Amaranthine could hear the door open, it close, then one lock, and a second. The dry heaving continued for a few more moments until Swamp spoke. It was at that time, Amaranthine stopped and righted herself. Taking a deep calming breath before looking over at the doctor. "Please hold your applause until the end of the performance," she said with a bashful grin. "It would take a bit more than that to ruffle my stomach," she admitted. Not that she liked the sight of the Lords entrails but it was no enough to make her actually want to throw up. The woman was hell of a performer when she chose to be. Coughing she cleared her throat a bit more as she looked around the room. She would have adored to have a drink of water right then but she figured they had little time.

"People dying, being murdered, people vanishing, lights going out, I can only take so much," she said as she reached into her corset between her breasts and pulled out a ring of keys. Downstairs she had bumped into Quinton when she was going to see what the screaming had been about, apparently the man didn't notice that she had lifted his keys from his body. "A lady must be prepared," she said as she held them up in the low light of the room. "I wouldn't risk the main door but there are others, we should check before he returns." There were three others that she remembered when they came in. One to the north end of the room, one on the southeast, and one at the west. It was only a suggestion and it was clear there was panic now on Amaranthine's features. The fear wasn't an act but apparently the need to throw up was.

*Remember, roll request can be placed at the bottom of the post and results will be posted in the next update. Still dark, so remember the general rule of thumb, unless someone says something you don't know what they are doing. Rolls for movement because there is a group, have to see if you bump into someone or something.

While Rave would love to be able to think of some way to start a fire so they can have light in the room, nothing is coming to mind. She doesn't think anything on her own person could do the trick and she doesn't know what the others have on them. Nothing that people were wearing sticks out in her mind to help with the task either. Moss is going to have a little better luck. Feeling around the bed, he is going to note the metal frame and the overly dry mattress. It has a slight scent of charring to it. Feeling under the bed, it is easy for Moss to feel where the bottom of the mattress was burned at one point. They might be able to use some of these materials to start a fire but it would take a closer feeling. To do that though, someone is going to have to flip the mattress over to get a better feel for it since it is hard with reaching underneath it. It's a start.

Titian took a deep breath, slowly pulling the door open to the next room. Not really sure where he was going. He nearly stepped out when he heard foot steps and someone bump into something. Stopping in his tracks, he peeked out the door and spotted a light. It was Quinton, running his head into one of the rafters. Freezing, he watched the man rub his head by the low light of the lamp Quinton was carrying before making his way down the stairs they had been lead up. Waiting for the light to fade, Titian opened the door more, slowly stepping into the next room. Okay, well that was one guard that wasn't on the attic floor but where there others? He knew there hadn't been any in the room with them in the Confinement room but that didn't mean there hadn't been one posted outside the main door.

Think Titian, think. Did you hear other foot steps? Would they have heard you breaking something? Would someone have said something when Quinton hit his head? This was not his strong suit, so try as he might the man wasn't coming up with any great plan of attack or escape right then. He just kind of stood there in a bit of a stupor in the south end of the east room wondering what to do next. Should he back track now that he saw Quinton leave? Should he follow the man and see where he goes? Should he work his way around and see if there is a guard on the other door? Should he try to find Swamp and Amaranthine? He had told the woman to stay out of it, tried to warn her back downstairs when she had bumped into Quinton but she didn't listen. No one seemed to listen to him. Hell, he didn't listen to himself. Okay Titian, think think think...

Mizrahi looked over towards the door as the second group was being escorted back into the room. Spotting Thana he gave her a once over as she wandered over to a couch and sat down, Ash seeming close behind her. Letting out a slow breath he stood up and walked over to what remained of the food that was set up. Making a plate and getting some water before walking over to the couch where Thana and Ash sat. Setting it down on the table he looked at Thana. "Eat," he said before looking at Ash. "It's been days," he added before walking back off and sitting back down, ever so often looking over at Thana to see if she was eating but he was listening half way to what was going on at the pool table and chuckled to himself. Checkbook was up to something.

And she was Nikki grinned as she sucked her gum back into her mouth after popping a bubble. "Wasn't talkin' about possessions, everything become common once you join the camp. So what's yours is mine and mine is yours type of thing." That was how a lot of places were even before the outbreak, at least it was a long time ago in smaller settlements. Everyone had to share everything, especially things that could be used to strengthen the group as a whole. Newnan hadn't been much different, sure people had their rooms or a couple had houses, you had some clothing and a few personal items but the rest - food, weapons, they were all stored together and people had access to what they needed if it was approved by the higher ups. She thoughts for a moment. "I miss, I'll do your chores tomorrow," she said before the grin on her lips grew. "I win, I get a kiss," she added with a wink. "So, you on?" she asked as she teased with the pool stick, acting as if she was going to take the shot but she didn't, she was still waiting to see if he agreed.

As Ash sat down, Thana curled up against him. Then she decided that wasn't good enough. She was off duty, people knew they were together. It wasn't like they were a secret. Especially after what Wayne had said when she came into the conference room and Ash had just stood there looking proud as a peacock. Pulling his arms back slightly she crawled into his lap and draped her legs off to the side before curling back up against him. "Deal with it," she said quietly with a smirk on her lips as she rested her head down on his shoulder. Letting out a slow sigh she just lay there and took a moment to enjoy being close to him. Trying not to think about the work she would need to do in the morning, about the information she had just dumped on some of them, about what she needed to talk to Thalia about, about what she had been dealing with for the last few months. Right then she was just going to relax and be close to Ash.

And it lasted about all of five seconds as Mizrahi came over and dropped off a plate of food and a glass of water. She nodded but she didn't move. Her brow quirking as Mizrahi looked to Ash and informed him that she hadn't eaten in days. Oh great, now she had one man in her life telling another man in her life that she needed to eat. Shaking her head she could only chuckle slightly. "Nem 'akhi, hal satukhbar walidaya baed dhlk?" she asked in him before rolling her eyes. He meant well and he wasn't lying, it had been days since she had eaten. Since either of them had eaten but she figured he had at least eaten when she was in Briefing. Glancing over to where he was sitting and seeing the empty dirty plate in front of him her suspicion was confirmed. Well there went her leverage. Yes, she needed to eat, no she wasn't moving.

Tatiana Newnan

Tatiana looked over to Jamie and smiled, he was doing fine and people were watching over him. These people weren't like the others that she had dealt with over the months being apart from her family. They were at least half way decent. So she was content to let them do some babysitting for her. Slowly her eyes went over to Jack and her brow went up. "Da hell," she said quietly to herself as she saw that he was crying. He was obviously having issues and she didn't need to know how to read people to see it. Yes, it had been a lot of information dumped on them about Newnan but it wasn't like it wasn't a lot they didn't already know. Okay, they hadn't known why Newnan had collapsed and why they were seeing or hearing things but the fact it was gone and people were dead, that was over a year ago. Sure it still hurt but they had lost almost everyone. If it hadn't been for her chasing that damn cat she would have died when her home collapsed into the ground and was swallowed up.

Standing up she rolled her shoulders back before walking over to Jack, picking up a paper towel from the food table as she passed it. Folding it over a few times she went to Jack and placed it in his hand before wrapping her arms around him and pulling him close. "It's okay. Death is not vorst thing, at peace nov. Ve go see vhen out of here," she assured Jack softly. There really wasn't much she could say. Okay, there was a lot she could say. Like suck it up, better them than us, and so forth, but none of those things would really help and most likely hurt him more. For Tatiana she felt better seeing the images and having answers. It checked off questions she had had that she never thought would have been answered. That was fine with her. Others it seemed weren't as cold about the situation as she was. Then again, before Newnan had fallen she would have cried to but that wasn't who she was anymore.

Wayne looked over towards Erica and shrugged a bit. "Well the way they've been pairing off and came in when we first met, I'm betting it has something to do with where they came from and what happened to the song bird over there," he said motioning towards Thana curled up in Ash's lap. "Had something to do with here and now, we all would have been in on it. That or they've decided to kick us out and we don't need to know but they wouldn't do that would they little fella would they? Can't split up little Kick Ass from his Manny," Wayne said in a baby voice as he picked up Jamie and bounced him a few times. "Manny as in man nanny not old fella, well older than me, so that's fucking something," he chuckled.

Setting the kid back down in lap as Hank went into his little speech, Wayne could only laugh. "I want to be a fly on the wall for that fucking conversation. Ten to one, my bets on Momma Bear giving little kick ass here the talk," Wayne laughed quietly. Jack didn't seem to be doing to well and Wayne could only manage Jack tripping over himself trying to explain the birds and the bees to his son. He half pictured Tatiana sitting Jamie down with a bottle of Vodka and just spilling it all out there in the open and not beating around the bush. Either way he wanted to see that shit because it was going to be funny as hell either way. Those talks always were as long as you were just a spectator and not the one giving or receiving the talk. His own dad had only thrown him a magazine and said happy birthday. His mother talked about everything but the talk and walked out the room with a warning if he knocked anyone up she's kill him.

New York, New York, USA: November 5th, 1943

"Sure thing, when we get some downtime," Ben said as he lit up a cigarette and took a long puff from it. Siduri understood Faith wanting to get cleaned up and changed. Even if they were not going to meet someone, being trapped on the road with nothing but dust and sweat for days on end added layers to the dirt on the body. Walking her away from the truck she lead Faith to the shower stalls that the Carnivale had set up first. It wasn't much, barely enough to cover someone from the rest of the world at the shoulders to the knees and the water would be cold coming out the weak shower head but it was what they had and for the day and age it wasn't the worst way to get cleaned up. Hell after five days in a hot truck it might feel like Nirvana.

"Towel, soap, clothing," Siduri said as she pointed out the obvious. Her eyes darting around, each time they fell on another Carnivale person they scattered away quickly. Siduri seemed to be making sure that while this was out in the open and Faith would only have a few walls of worn plywood between herself and the rest of the world she was going to get as much privacy as they could muster right then. "I can pin your hair once you are finished if you would like," she added before taking a few steps back to give Faith a little more privacy, sitting down on a folding chair and crossing her ankles left over right as she waited.

Babylon Fortress, Cairo, Egypt: October 6th, 1924

Peter chuckled a bit but nodded. "Quite right, would be most fitting for you Mr. Grady and it would place you on a more level playing field among the locals as well. Let us see what we can do about that," Peter said as they made their way towards the market place center of Cairo. It wasn't a terrible walk and once there it was simple enough for Peter to be able to purchase several pieces of clothing that the group as a whole would be able to use either alone or in conjunction with what they were already wearing. Peter wasn't terribly fond of having to treat James like a slave or a servant whom was in debt to him but he kept is as even as he could while still maintaining the appearance of being someone who owned someone. It still left a bad taste in his mouth and he hoped that James wouldn't hold it against him. Nothing seemed to be sticking out to James right then with things around him.

Back over at the Fortress, things were about as calm as one could hope. Gilbert would be able to find one of the original entrances to one of the tunnels. And that is all well and good. That is until that whole fuzz and haze finally catches up with them. It seems to spreading and now is affecting Cairo. Peter stopping in his tracks and looking around, rubbing his eyes slightly and groaning. "Bloody hell, this can't be good," he said as he looked over towards James. And it wasn't only the Emendators and Paradoxes seeing this, it seemed the entire city was and people were starting to pull a panic mentality. Shit just hit the fan.

Boat (Infirmary): The Captain wasn't exactly sure what to think about the woman going on about the occult. His brow quirking as the doctor tended to her as best he could under the circumstances. The more she spoke the more the Captain tilted his head to the side, much like a dog that was getting yelled at in a kind voice and not really sure what to make of the matter. Eventually once she was done speaking he finally replied, she had gone on for a while and he wasn't about to stop her though it might have been better if he had. Maybe one of those stings happened in her ear and hit her brain. "I'm thinking it's more likely a gas leak," he said calmly. The man was not one to put much stock in a bunch of mumbo jumbo.

Boat (Thief's? Room): Vera wasn't sure what she could do for the man now that he had knocked himself out, other than either pour water on top of him or slap him. She decided to do neither. With her luck as of late, okay with her luck as of usual, which seemed to be even worse lately it was probably best not to add wet floors to the mix or getting shot when the man came to after being slapped. He seemed to have something, or have found something. Reaching over she looked at the item as Josephine addressed her. "Is this the watch you were looking for Miss Clark?" she asked as she handed it over with one hand and reached for her journal with the other. "I would say call for the doctor but perhaps we should wait and see if he awakens soon," Vera suggested. And it was a good one. He would wake up in just a few seconds. (Mid round)

Athribis (Underground): While Faye has no stealth skills to be speak of, she is is going to be able to remain hidden this round and just observe as long as she doesn't try to move in the shadows. Holding still is her best bet right now if she wants to remain out of sight of the others. While she can't tell anything about the man personality wise other than what she feels in her gut right now, looking closely at him, pieces of skin and such, she can tell the man has been in a few accidents as of late and perhaps runs along the same lines of luck with getting around as Vera does. Maybe he's cursed? Gene isn't figuring that this is a physical thing but something environmental. Counterfactual history will give her some clues though. About bodies and the dead walking again, about those without Souls in some pieces of time, about groups trying to recreate life and causing films of haze in the area of casting but nothing on this level.

On The Road (Heading Towards Gretna Green): As the girls continue, things are going about as smoothly as they can go right now. All things considered that is. They are making decent time though despite everything, which is good news. Seems LLA is playing nice to you right now. It isn't until the carriage is about a mile or two outside of the edge of Gretna Green that the carriage finally starts to slow down. It has to. There is some debris in the road, like half a carriage, it looks like there was some kind of carriage accident here. What happened one can't just tell right away, it would take a closer examination. The driver has to stop and climbs down, muttering about his eyes and this not being a good thing. He is going to have to clear away the debris for their carriage to get through as the road dips off sharply on either side and they can't just go around it.

Gretna Green: Veta wished she knew what was going on but she was as lost as everyone else was. This wasn't something she was used to dealing with, she had never dealt with anything like this. This wasn't anything of the Soulless that the world knew in general and this wasn't anything that she had ever been taught about when it came to the Soulless of their homeland. Maybe there was a Soulless out there that could do something like this but the only one that seemed to know anything about things elsewhere had been Ludwig and may he rest in peace. "I vouldn't dare to speak of the ways of the Soulless, their minds and hearts are not something ve could map out," she said quietly. Why they did what they did was always up for debate, it was not something she wanted in her mind. She didn't want to be able to think the way they did. Sure it might help to stop it but at what cost? Could one lose their own soul from thinking too much like a Soulless? Was that how the first one came to be? Had man just been pushed to the Black and lost their humanity? Their Soul?

Millicent looked around, the haze making it harder to tell what was going on. She made sure to keep her fingers tightly laced with Williams as they moved through the crowd, trying to place as much distance between them and Rutherford as possible. This was not what she had signed up for, not by a long shot. She had already endured a lot to get this far but this was not part of the deal, this was not part of the contract. "I will," she said to Williams simply instruction of remaining close. One hand in his, the other gripping her weapon and ready just in case. Rutherford seemed to not following them at this point. Turning and running into another direction. Where he was going she didn't know and she didn't care. Yes his voice had changed, it even seemed kind but if his features could change like that? What all was he hiding? Or what all was taking over him. Either way, it didn't lend any air of trust to him. Holy ground was all they had right now and that was just a toss up, could that even help them now?

Ny kept the crowds back and moved up to the doors of the church. Pushing them open so Ludwigs body could be moved inside. "Yes, much to talk about. Friends. If a friend of the dark light lady, then yes, friends of mine. Yes, indeed. Much to talk about, in safety, yes, move, move quickly," he said propping the door open with one door and using his walking cane to keep people back. "Ladies first," he said towards Virginia with a bit of a solemn grin on his features. It was all he could do for now. "Oh my, is that the Duchess? Yes, must be," he said as he pointed over towards Veta on the horse with Constantine. He had heard of the woman from another and took notes on her. Yes, that had to be her. If it wasn't then he was a Persimonlark.

Grimm, Indiana (Heading To Tinder House): "If this is the coffee then I really gotta change brands," Adelaide said as she continued to drive through town. Sadly, as Robert tried to google for answers, there wasn't enough of a wireless connection to get an actual connection where they were. It was a dead end on that route right now. Maybe they were going through a dead zone, maybe it was just hitting the fan. Probably both. "Yeah, it is but nothing like this normally. I mean this is weird even for us," she added as she pulled up to the Tinder house and spotted cars. Her brow perking as the front door was open and a cop car was there. "Maybe they already know about Marc," she said as she threw the SUV into park. "Honestly at this point I would be more worried about the people it wasn't messing with," she added as she opened the driver door and slowly got out.

Grimm, Indiana (Tinder House): Zoie quirked a brow. "Yeah, got it, Monsters go and find a priest," she said as she made her way up the stairs to check the upstairs. "If I scream, run," she added as she bounded up the stairs to try to get a quick look around and see where the splattering of blood was going that she spotted. It was easy enough for Mali to find a light to turn on to the stairs heading down at the basement. And this is where shit took a page out of horror movies. A little orange balloon started floating up the stair case, blocking the view to the basement below. As it floated to one side of the stairwell, one could see something at the bottom. It had a bright face, it was big, it was ugly, it was a clown. "Girls stick together!" the she-clown grunted in a voice that sounded like she had been smoking five packs a day for the last twenty years. A smell coming off her, like burnt jet fuel and strawberry quick.

Grimm, Indiana (Asylum Stairs, basement level): Alicia would have said something, she would have made some snarky comment, she would have mouthed off but you know what? She can't. You know why? Because LLA FUCKING HATES ALICIA! GOD FUCKING DAMN IT! SERIOUSLY! First time, fine. Second time, you gotta be joking. Third time? WHY LLA WHY? WHY DO YOU HATE MY CHICA? ~takes a deep breath~ It's okay, it's okay. I'm calm, I'm calm. Now... Alicia is heading up the stairs and while she doesn't care about germs, and it is a good thing she doesn't because the stairs give out under one of her feet. Crumbling to dust and the three stairs above her go out as well. Gripping the railing she holds on as her feet dangle to the open remains of concrete and dust billowing up from below her. "MALPARIDA!" Alicia screams as she locks her fingers around the bending metal. The scream is loud enough for those on the main floor to hear and it echos in Caesar's mind. She ain't dead yet but seriously? LLA, go suck it! Oh and Priya isn't seeing any clues but she is able to stop herself from hitting the fallen part of the stair well and keep her and Riley from going over the edge.

Grimm, Indiana (The Asylum - Main Floor): Roy looked over towards Cecily and nodded, following her towards where she said the stairs were. It was locked or jammed or something from what she was saying. "Yeah, I can try," he said, about ready to give it a go when a very angry Mexican and very thickly built British man came barreling around. He stopped and placed a hand on Cecily's shoulder, motioning for her to step back. "Yeah, stairs," he said pointing to the door. "Jammed, want to give it a go big guy or mad guy, I got even odds on either," he said. Caesar looked like he could stare at the damn door and it would open out of fear, the Brit looked like he could eat his way through the door. Either way, it was better than having to try it himself and the last thing Roy wanted to do right then was get in between those two and whatever the hell it was they were after. "Just be careful, my partner and Riley is in here somewhere, so don't just kill whatever moves," he suggested.
