Bio

Hello! I'm LadyRunic! But you knew that...

I love most types of Role Play, but by far my favorites are those that are well thought out and worked with. Especially when you can find a group you can work well with. I love books- So many books. It's a running bet that I will become buried under a pile of said objects one day... I'm a tad busy, and when an Rp really catches my interest I'm inpatient for posts. It's like reading a good book and getting stuck on a cliff hanger.

You can generally expect posts regularly once a week if not more.

I've RP'd for the better part of fourteen years, so I can honestly say I have some experience and I've developed the understanding of what I expect of a partner in a one-on-one or a group. I'm also the sort who will speak up and point out something if it looks off or forms a problem to me. I spent most of a year once stuck in a Voice Chat Rp that was hell on Earth, so I'm straight forward when I need to say something. I expect this in return from my Rpers and DMs. I want to improve my writing and love constructive criticism.

"Would you accept a friendship?"

of all the things the Fall King expected, that was not a question he had been asked in centuries. Eras. None dared be so bold, so brazen with the ancient Fae. The Fae who was rumored to have walked from the Sea of Mists. The Lord that sat upon a throne of bones and pelts of other Fae. Who had never to Fae memory lost to another. He had been diverted, maneuvered about of course. But never had the Fall King out right lost when another went toe to toe against him.

Stormy eyes watched the Lord of Summer as he lifted his proud head. He was a young Fae, but there was a ancient nobility about him. One Falk had not seen in many years, something born of the Ancient Fae that the elder Lord still remembered. Their pearly robes of intangible form. Faces that were void of emotion, of rage or love. His eyes darkened with the memories of gleaming swords of Fae metals and make. Of the ring of battles and the silver of voices long lost. The fall of the water chased away the ancient thoughts after several long minutes, leaving the echo of the pounding of the sea. It had been a while since he had been to the sea, and it was not time to return there. Not yet. First the Fae Realm would be put into place. A neat little box for it, a peace, stability.

Then he would go to the Sea of Mists and walk along it's mysterious surf. He had nothing to fear from the waters, not unlike the youth of today. It was a comfort, a constant. And in a world that was eroding, the sea remained as it always did. Slowly wearing away the land and bringing it into the watery embrace.

"It would be beneficial for you." Falk gave a slight chuckle. The sound of water gurgling over rocks, the leaves dancing upon the wind. His voice dark and soft with the warmth and comfort darkness brought to those who wearied. "And I would not be opposed to it. Though you would be wise to remember, little Fae Lord." His eyes turned stormy, the green light gleaming in the twilight of his forest. "The walls of my Hall and my throne of bones. Betrayal is not allowed among my Court nor among my allies. But..." Leaning forward, Feroas was pinned by the deadly look in the Fae Lord's eyes. "You are of Noble heart, that is something I have not seen in many centuries amongst the rulers of the Fair Folk. It shall do you well, but I must warn you. Do not let it compel sense from that sun filled head of yours. Else your doom shall approach all the more swiftly than my Hunt rides. I shall accept your Friendship Lord of Summer." The shadows shivered as the Fall Lord smirked slightly.

"How, we shall be three." He noted with a slightly amused tone. "Shall I invite Spring over for tea? I fear I might poison it with iron on instinct."

@BlackPanther
@shylarah Yes but I don't need ppl getting angsty in this or I'm going to have issues. Which happened last night.

Moots happen every few centuries.

I'm not going to get into it right now, because it's my day off I have a D&D session to run in a few hours and I'm pulling @Zahrale in to ride herd. I've got my hands full with my life and there is none better. @Belle @BlackPanther Not to dis you two, but Zah and I have been Rping together nearly everyday for seven years.

I will bend over backwards and give this man access to Fae types I would never allow, that should say something. It's not favoritism, he knows the FULL LORE and if he doesn't know a fact, we'll chat and iron it out even better. He knows what works and doesn't and his word is on par of mine and even above in certain points in time.
@LadyRunic As I understand it the process for creating a Seasonborn is largely the same across the four courts but produces vastly different results and abilities. Would it be possible with sufficiently skilled sorcerers for a Spring to create a Fallborn, or Winter to create Summerborn or any combination there of? Perhaps for the purpose of espionage or smuggling?

@SunsetRoses I don't know if you still care or not but in order to extradite Raven from her conversation I temporarily controlled Are. If you have some lines you wish me to change or anything just tell me. If you really don't care anymore feel free to ignore this.

@Zahrale Hey man, your characters were pretty interesting, where did you go?

As for your question. No it is not. This was stated before and they are of a certain season due to who created them.

You cannot control other people, that goes to the DM and Sunset I believe dropped out. THIS WAS STATED BEFORE. T_T

Zahrale will not be returning lest for his own reason. We're pulling D&D every day for Four to six hours straight. And he's doing more hours than I. He does not wish to return currenty but if I ask with suffiecent need he will. This was already stated. And I'm tempted to ask so he can help to ride herd on you lot.

@shylarah@Prince of Seraphs Both of you. I have asked before. Please don't pick holes in people's characters. That is for me to do. Or whoever their interacting with as in the case of the Winter Knight. ALSO, WE HAVE 56 PAGES OF OOC. Please, please, please. If you two are going to chat back and forth this extensively take it to PMs. This is ridiculous.
@shylarah Wasn't D&D per say. A Homebrew system. we just say Dm does all rolls.

A question, by the way. Those portals aren't always open, right?

No, It's like the weather. They open and close depending on unknown reasons, some stay open all the time. Others don't.

Ooh, an idea~ @TemplarKnight07, to avoid needing magic to get there, he could have gone to one of the most famous magical sites. Or possibly several, on a trip across Europe. And he gets to Stonehedge, and -- it's open! Maybe the rulers just left, or at least it wasn't too many hours before, or maybe it's the right time of day. The witching hour might work (think that's midnight?) The reason he didn't go sooner could be because he's had to save to afford the trip, plus he wasn't old enough to travel overseas alone. ...Might need to be a little older for that to work, actually, or perhaps he lives in England but didn't feel ready for a trip until recently. It is a big step, and best to be fully prepared if you encounter unfriendly creatures.

Is rolling eyes. Go to the Loch Ness, and drown.

Trust me. Those who 'drown' don't drown. There's a gate there that is open all the time and Nessy is essentially the Ferry Man. However, she's a bit dim.
@shylarah@TemplarKnight07@Prince of Seraphs

I think there was a misunderstanding, some where.

I could change it so that instead of opening a portal as he had intended, he merely called up a Faerie of some sort,

First off. The Portals... Their not so much portals as gaps between Realms of Fae and Mortal. They can exist almost anywhere with a lack of iron in the area. Parks, forests, old town streets/alleyways (though these are not so common), mountains, wilderness, lakes, beaches. Fae such as kelpies and selkies use the very ocean as a gate but that's something else altoeghter and part of their Fae Natures.

Second Summoning up Fae. You cannot do this unless you know their name in full. Names have power, yes. The full name most of all. It's why many Fae go by a alias and only trade off pieces of their name.

Third off. Humans have no magic whatsoever. If it was gifted to them by a Fae... It would have to happen in Rp. The fae don't GO to the Mortal Realm often or much. And they especially don't do that since the world has been taken from them and given over to Iron. Rituals, magic, sure go ahead and try. But nothing will happen, because you're off your rocker.

Don't mean to be sharp, but where in the name of the Gods does it say humans may have magic, so that I may fix that immediately. And sorry for not being about last night I had a D&D session.
bump
@Belle It's a peeve!

"She's funny with being peeved."
@Belle Gremlins~!!!!

Iron fae are Gremlins!! Chi~!!!
see above, and others.

And Drow Rp anyone?
@BlackPanther Might not be a bad idea. Just toss me a offical statement.
