Bio

Hello! I'm LadyRunic! But you knew that...

I love most types of Role Play, but by far my favorites are those that are well thought out and worked with. Especially when you can find a group you can work well with. I love books- So many books. It's a running bet that I will become buried under a pile of said objects one day... I'm a tad busy, and when an Rp really catches my interest I'm inpatient for posts. It's like reading a good book and getting stuck on a cliff hanger.

You can generally expect posts regularly once a week if not more.

I've RP'd for the better part of fourteen years, so I can honestly say I have some experience and I've developed the understanding of what I expect of a partner in a one-on-one or a group. I'm also the sort who will speak up and point out something if it looks off or forms a problem to me. I spent most of a year once stuck in a Voice Chat Rp that was hell on Earth, so I'm straight forward when I need to say something. I expect this in return from my Rpers and DMs. I want to improve my writing and love constructive criticism.

@FallenTrinity Awwwww.....
@BlackPanther If Fae ran to the human realm... Idk. But think on that for a bit and what Falk said to Feoras.

Also, that shield may not be a shield. Don't trust you're eyes so much. Or low level Fae Guards. @shylarah
The Lamia turned to look at the little girl. The look was of pure fury. "You would not kill I and lossse more of you're limited value." Her eyes gleamed as the girl vanished. Looking at Johnny, she did a swift 'Tres, dos, uno' before sweeping into the halls. The tip of her tail curled tightly about Johnny's leg, ankle to thigh, dragging him along behind her. "Do not be a fool, boy." She snapped at the cause of her current problem. "Else I will eat you, and not your soul. Senor Ark or no." Tilting her head, she flickered her tongue searching for heat. Listening for sound. Feeling for vibrations.

As she was a snake, her eyesight was not the best in the dark, though she was accustom to it. Rather she relied on her other sense. The smell, the heat, the feel. It wall fed into each other remarkably well. Sweeping the door open she snarled a curse at the girl child. She hated games, she hated the little children. The French boy was the only one she could stand for any amount of time. As the door went to shut on her tail, she yanked it through leaving Johnny to take the blow of the closing door. "I dissslike children. I would eat you, but that would caussse problemsss. Keep your temper and your mannerssss, nino." She hissed out venomously.

@FallenTrinity
@FallenTrinity Oh I am. Des is not. She knows very well Chitter dare not kill them. But she's got no problem swallowing Johnny for a few seconds. She'd let him back out, so no worries.
@shylarah Or he has his own reasons... It is Falk.
@Belle LOL! Nope, it goes against the deal!

THOSE shadow creatures are what were always coming. I've typed and retyped that paragraph ten thousand times. The question was....

Could you have withstood it?
Shadows moved. The air shifted. It was no longer clean, no longer whole. A nymph lad perched on the shore of the Sea of Mist, tossed pebbles into the water. It was a average day by the twisted Sea. The young Fae did not expect a large black shadow to appear, dragging itself over the lip of the cliff. He didn't expect more to follow, or the rotting smell of meat. His eyes widened as he scrambled to he feet and bolted away. And it was well he did. Pulling themselves up the cliff were thousands more of their beings. A ancient evil, their bodies a dark and rotting void. Their eyes maddening gleams of life. Maws were rough shadows, and their figures were globs of shadows and voids. Masses forming tall spines and claws. Moving from the Sea-side cliffs they moved into the depths of Spring. The Fae before them ran, leaving behind goods and homes and lands.

But some were not so lucky. The trees and pools of nymphs and dryads were rotten and twisted, their residents screams echoed for miles. Warning more to run. To flee. Those who fought were overwhelmed, their magic effective, but not against this number. Not against this relentless horde. The Spring ruler would not hear these screams as a small group of the creatures, taller and made of opal gems devoured him. Their numbers had been heavily depleted in the swift fight, but they had been something the Fae had not seen. For they had not walked the lands of the Fae since their own time of legend. In a distant kingdom, the most ancient of the Fae, stiffened and paled. Wardens of Summer and Winter, even those of Spring would hear the cracking and snapping as a barrier of shadow wrapped about the Kingdom of Fall. Falk was gathering his power, shielding his kingdom. The great sphere crackled and gleamed with dark light and a sickly green glow.

The protections had failed at last.
