Bio

Hello! I'm LadyRunic! But you knew that...

I love most types of Role Play, but by far my favorites are those that are well thought out and worked with. Especially when you can find a group you can work well with. I love books- So many books. It's a running bet that I will become buried under a pile of said objects one day... I'm a tad busy, and when an Rp really catches my interest I'm inpatient for posts. It's like reading a good book and getting stuck on a cliff hanger.

You can generally expect posts regularly once a week if not more.

I've RP'd for the better part of fourteen years, so I can honestly say I have some experience and I've developed the understanding of what I expect of a partner in a one-on-one or a group. I'm also the sort who will speak up and point out something if it looks off or forms a problem to me. I spent most of a year once stuck in a Voice Chat Rp that was hell on Earth, so I'm straight forward when I need to say something. I expect this in return from my Rpers and DMs. I want to improve my writing and love constructive criticism.

Ayita Dyrkin

Location X-Van
{"The Hunt is on."}

Ayita shoved the door open and let the few X-men pass before she stepped away from it once more. Kneeling to check her boots and retrieve the hunting knife from the top of the left one. She flipped it forward and back in her hand, testing the grip before looking to Pietro when he returned. So there were a group of human guards, they most likely had guns. It wasn't something she wanted to run into, but such was the human fascination with those noisy things. Her amber eyes were bright with not excitement but thrill. The hunt was on.

Glancing towards the halls that Pietro had mentioned she nodded more to herself than the others. "I'll go see what power the mutant has. Vents. Return soon." Not waiting for a reply the shifter darted down the hall. Why should she? She had hunted alone plenty of times before. Her feet moving in a graceful lope as she strove to keep her foot falls soft. Following Pietro's directions. Though she was oh, so very careful to keep her eyes sharp for humans. At luck they might think her a Brotherhood- though she doubted it. Tucking her knife into it's sheath as she dipped low. Her body cracked and split. A mouse continuing down the hall, large amber eyes keen on any intelligent life. Hoping to spy this mutant and get a gist of what power they might have. Pietro was not so bright- or so she thought.

Watching the group run past, he sighed. Idiots. Running about a gaggle of geese. If they were making a mess like this, that at least to Richard meant that it wasn't the front doors that had been breached. Something he found welcoming. So this group of X-scouts weren't just brawlers. They had some brains! He would relish this. Sauntering down the hall, he moved his path as to check the side door or doors. If they were all secure it stood to reason that these intruders if they were the X-Scouts had come via air or below ground. Though he would have to give them props if they had done it that way.

Shifting one gun back to it's holster, the Adder smirked as he continued his sweep. Careful. Cautious. And always aware and ready to snap to cover and then get behind the intruder. Choking them out would be his preferred method at this point. Information would be valuable. Who were they? How many? Why were they here? Oh, he was sure he knew some of their answers if they were who he thought they were. But the questions still needed asked if only to establish a base line for truth and lie. Really, he was wasted here. Running about halls and plotting mass genocide. But- eh. He was paid, and this genocide wouldn't hurt his cause too much. Even if it did irk him a good deal.

Alice Lynche

Location Her Cottage

Setting her teacup down when the elderly woman noted that it was indeed time for them to go. Alice nodded brightly, giving a small, though not timid, smile. "Of course, and don't feel as if that is one way. If you ever need a hand I'll be happy to help." Typical of the seamstress. To offer aid, when she would probably head in the opposite direction of the woman's home sheerly by accident. She was clever, but some of the minor and more common details got lost in translation to her head. Not once had someone blamed it on her raven noggin being full of nothing but fabrics, threads and needles. Though needles would be difficult to deal with in her noggin, Alice noted. They would prick and prod and she really didn't think that was all that comfortable.

Though she saw the eldery woman and the boy out, the tiny woman got a start when the child glared at her. She didn't understand why! Had she offended him? Did the biscuits go stale? They shouldn't have, she had just bought them. Moving in and all that. Unless she had gone to a unsavory shop again... It would not be the first time. Nor the last. Alice noted with a sad thought. She did really need to pull her mind out of the dresses and clothing she would sew. Though she did give a slight start when the boy's eyes flashed black. Was this a new trend or something? It looked horror movie esque. Was there some new horror out? She generally enjoyed watching them. But her taste was more towards the older ones. Shaking her head the girl shut and, after a second, locked the door and turned back to clean her house.

Well, till a embroidery needle caught her attention and she began a new piece on a plain gold blouse. Toning the bold color down with a deep brown. Not very eye catching but soft. Soft was good sometimes. It filled in something that was already there and enhanced other things. A small smile formed on her face while she worked.
@Belle Then give other people a chance to post and do things. Really Belle. You're getting worked up over nothing right now. Breathe and relax. You're NOT going to die. Things might be difficult but I've already warned you this Rp is not going to be sunshine and rainbows.
@Belle then calm down and reread it Belle. I am not going to spell it out
But you do have a good chance of getting out of it. It worries me that you don't see it.
@Belle Honey your panicking over nothing. She isn't going to die, you know I'm not that cruel. So yes, you are being an idiot. You got a little ahead of yourself and are facing the consequence. But you've JUST read my post. Let others respond and give them a chance before you jump straight to the- abandon thread- line.

Desdemona gave a pleading whimper as Thymond backed her into the room. The Goblin falling back to eye the stair, but knowing far better than to take that route. This larger Fae would be on him in moment and the lamia would be of little help. The room was now far more claustrophobic with the twenty foot odd Desdemona, now very pale as the Fae spoke the mortal girl who had pleaded for the wrong doer's life. Not a common thing, but less common was the feel of Thymond's talon in her jaw. And far, far less welcomed.

"P-please! I can tell you-!" She endured his claw in her jaw- it could be healed. Hopefully. But when claws sliced into her throat, she gripped the man's wrist and strained to pull it away. Her arms lacking the strength of her coils. However strong she was, she would be unlikely to pull the man from from her. The Goblin merely looked on, wringing his hand and hoping with all his little twisted heart that Thymond did not turn his claws and gaze upon him. He was a old goblin- even among the fae. Erin would see him eyeing the new comer and the stairs. Tempted but too terrified to try.

-Location: Court of Nightmares/Servant Quarters-

Yusuke found himself left alone, the humans seemingly respecting his needs for solitary. It was not uncommon amongst those who came here. However, they did spy the kitsune- Yin- and seem to drift to the opposite side of the room from where they saw him. They knew the Fae on site- and some by prior experience. Yin would note a few humans- those here before his flock- fled the bathing chamber upon his arrival. Not wanting to tangle with the fox. One woman- her red hair thick and tangled from the damp- however wandered close. Her hips swaying temptingly as she held the scant barrier of a towel to conceal herself. Yet fully hint. Fluttering her blue eyes at the Lieutenant of the UnSeelie King. The well endowed woman gave a flirty smile, "So kind of you to join us here, My Lord. May I be of service- in any way?" It was not uncommon among some to get extra security through some Fae who deemed to take mortals for lovers. Plying the lesser lived with gifts and protection.

The artist, however, would note Elsa being shown a assortment of clothing. All very fine seeming from where he sat. Young ladies they all were, their bright eyes filled with malice and mischief as Elsa turned away with a chosen piece. The small group of four sniggered and whispered between each other, walking back pass the artist and to their original seats with their embroidery. "Clarice will be so very angry!" "Thus it's perfect. She takes the clothes. We showed her Clarice's beautiful selection! Merely showed! If she stole a piece. Tis not out doing." The last was said by a darker haired woman with freckles. Her eyes gleaming as she preened with the others admiration of her plan. A third chirped up with her own opinion. "That new meat thinks she's better with her covered bossom? She'll learn the lay of things soon enough once one drunk guard snags her." The others hissed at her to keep her tone down. Though her voice would not have carried to the piano or over it's tune.

As Elsa sat at the piano minutes earlier and started the play. The bench was worn, and creaked under her. The piano, however, was in decent shape and sang true. It's melody however was soft. Creaking on the louder notes. But as the melody filled the room, so did a few timed taps of the foot and some gentle humming. Soft sounds that accompanied the music while the human men and women moved about their tasks. Enjoying this breif bit of innocent relaxation. Never mind that Yin had passed through minutes earlier. Though, a few cast Elsa sharp glances. Others with their own worried looks. They had not been pleased with this new musician taking up so suddenly and quickly with Clarice's little 'feather-heads' as one woman noted to another far too softly for the newcomers to hear. Was she another little pet? Was she being set up? It was a bad situation under that innocent tune.

-Location: Falk's Hall-

The stone walls echoed Bodil's voice back at her slightly. But the Fall King paused, glancing back at the mortal with those storm filled eyes. Gesturing at her to follow, his black hair fell in a dark pool down his shoulder and back. Held back by a silver clasp, looking like diamond stars spilling into the night. "You are to be of use, while we of the Fair Folk take on more burdensome tasks." His long legs took him down the darkened hall, not looking back to see if the woman was following. Slight lights appearing on the walls. Globes of witch lights, hovering. "And I do not need to make a example with a mortal. As I said- you stand before me again. Alive, intact. Though your actions nearly led to you being a broken husk- mindless-, as Yin is wont to do. Thus I have granted you mercy in preventing this. As I said."

His form moved along the twisting corridor, several opening fleeing off into various side rooms. One being a bed room, it's large dark curtains that acting as a door open enough for Bodil to catch a glimpse of scattered weapons. Gleams of jewels and fabric discarded about. As if in a frenzied search or from a simply messing person. Another room was also blocked by the thick curtains. But the Unseelie Lord merely walked by, and up as the hall sloped into a upward spiral. Opening into a vast room filled with long bookshelves, of which there were at least fifty four, and a desk tucked into alcove. A couch, two plush armchairs- one with a arm that didn't look like it would remain attached much longer- and a low black stone coffee table. Oddly modern in such a dismal world. The dim light however remained. Giving this large library even more of a air of stillness. Far below from where they came the soft sound of bells being hit by water echoed up. Floating to form a melody that was barely there and quickly forgotten. Though Falk did not seem to note this as he paused by a shelf and scanned the books. Otherwise ignoring if the mortal had followed or not.

Ayita Dyrkin

{"Squeak Sqeak."}

Ayita scurried along the ground, darting from one bit of cover to the next. It wouldn't do to be picked up by a hawk or falcon looking for lunch. Twitching her whiskers the door mouse gave an annoyed look at the door in her path. There were other ways of course, but speed and time was of the essence. The others were back at the van and waiting on plans. Plans never survived the ambush. Prey always found a unaccounted for way. Which was appropriate as she was prey currently.

Her ears twitched as she noticed the humming bird- and it's summoner. Giving a annoyed look at the 'human', the mouse looked back at the door. Either he could try to open it or not. But it was probably locked given the prior run of luck. Darting for the small air vent, she squeezed through the gap and into the metal annoyance. Luckily there were not any snakes. Snakes were fond of mouse la amode. The noise, however, was annoying and would scare most of those of her form. Shifting on the other side of the door, she attempted to open it. If find it locked she would attempt to unlocked it.

{"Old memories are unfaithful things. Just like I am."}

Richard's head snapped around at the sound of the alarm. Growling deep in his throat at the noise. So that lapse in peace was exactly that. A moment of calm, and now the storm had hit. Snarling he drew his guns. Wonderland girl could deal with the security office, he'd do the rounds. Stalking down the hall he began to give a military grade sweep of the building. Ready to shift, shoot or snap to cover. He was being taken surprised, and Richard was not a fan of surprises. Well, expect if it was from a woman.

"Oh good, the party has finally started." The Adder smirked, smoothing his black hair back. Double checking his ammunition, he twirled his guns while walking down the hall at a steady clip. Oh this was going to be fun! Hopefully someone was afraid of snakes, or worse. Afraid of men in general. He didn't generally like to play with fears, but it would help to get information. After all, information was so very key in life. Catching a glance of himself in a reflection he winked. "Good fighting handsome."
