Honestly, I blame the OOC. I may be alone in this and people may even dislike the thought, but I consider the OOC the single worst thing that ever happened to MR. Yeah, getting to chat with everyone is cool, but it hurt MR more than we'd like to think.

It's not anger, that's a bit strong for what I feel. It's more like a mixture of fear that Dark will be run off and disappointment that it has to happen. Usually it's toward Dark or David, who is instigating or blatantly trying to manipulate things IC to get what they want, regardless of realism or blatant attempts by others to overcome whatever disliked or disagreeable thing may be the issue at the moment (respectively in most cases). If David has a reason, fine, but when there is always a reason, without exception, sometimes it makes me feel like there actually isn't a reason. In brief, it's a very Boy Who Cried Wolf kind of deal.

No, what'd degrading is completely ignoring what someone does IC because you don't know how their things work. At least I had a reason for it with Dark having a 99.9-% chance of already having put in counters, you just don't even consider that something makes sense before trying to strongarm it away. Stay the fuck out of omni if you're going to act like a child playing police and robbers.

Your chances of dying increase exponentially whenever you drive a car. Yet at the same time, you're still alive and don't avoid driving. But you don't go to the top of buildings and hang off of them. In the same way, characters are capable of dying at any time, but the chances are really low as long as they don't specifically go into something they can't leave alive.
