For instance, in the last RP, Cyclone played a deluded character who believed that there was only one god and ascribed all the miracles that were happening to him. The reality was that there were many gods and they were the ones doing the miracles.
Just out of curiousity, how did the others god react to this and how did Cyclone's god react when he got confronted by other gods?
@Fabulous Knight I'm not entirely in agreement with you. While yes, Persephone's kidnapping triggered seasons and stuff like that, we gotta look at it from a more practical stand point. If there is already life but no seasons I can garantue you that it will get screwed over very fast (Imagine plants, they completely depend on seasons to flourish or wither and die). We made the 'Grand Design' so there was a plan and rules to abide to. Ancient greeks didn't know these laws so in their legends they don't have to give a crap about physics.
Another successful battle. Though this time it’s victory had not that much to do with the aptitude of the mages of New Engelica. Eléane began to see how the monsters of the Darkness worked. They were a horde. Uncontrolled and without strategy. Resorting to basic instincts. The giant fishes, which the mages swiftly called Leviathans, were a testament to that. They were defeated by simply being lured in by rafts and confiscated ships. Even the harpies were driven by pure bloodlust. If any of them were smart they would have gone straight for the mages alone with their full force. But because they worked on primal instincts, survival was more important than success. Even the small force that still descended from the skies several months ago had scattered itself over the mechanical warriors. Turning that entire battle into a one sided slaughter. This revealed a great deal to Eléane.
It was also Eléane who took one Leviathan corpse. Their elementals helped drag the massive being on the shore. Where 5 War-Magi kept vigil. The giant fish radiated a black aura, testament of the Darkness’ power. She allowed her mind to wander sometimes. Day dreaming about how it would feel to wield such awesome power, to command such massive army of monstrous beasts. And according to many of her friends, she wasn’t the only one. It was power ever so seducing.
Aside from protecting the corpse of the Leviathan, most other mages kept to their drills and meditations. Though now every now and then one would descend towards a city center to buy special supplies and herbs. Dwarfs and men alike probably raised an eyebrow as a quite colorfully dressed person walked their streets. Often accompanied by a coyote made of dust and sand, or a small fiery red bird. Spirits that took extreme liking to their master and decided to remain their familiar. The orders were even stranger. Odd herbs or even worse, dead animals.

Turn 11 (This is a personal counter of turns I use)
The reason I said "the" moon is because too many will throw the tides out of wack, unless they are very small.
Since I'm already writing my post: I'll ask you guys for input. Many small moons, or one big-ass one like Earth's (which has an abnormally large moon for its size)?
For practical sake, would it be possible to create a moon-sized celestial object, put it in orbit around the Sun (or Ull'Yang), push some astroids on a collision course, wait a few turns and tada! New planet?
Also for now, I'd say several small ones. Cause as there seems to be yet limited space (one planet) a lot of gods will want to built something for their own (and it has been made clear you guys don't like sharing too much >.>).
@Kho So just to get this right, are starting turn 2? Also...did the universe get screwed over so bad that everything is kind of...well...utterly destroyed and actually worse than just being nothing?
Honestly I only have 1 option for you catch. Get the hell out of dodge. Load up ships with your entire population and relocate? Or beg to the gods that the Darkness will be too pre-occupied with fighting Orngat that they just sort of skip you a little.
The lights themselves are the spirits New Engelica uses to create their familiars. They are small concentrations of semi-sentient magical energy. They are too small to capture with nets. But in theory you could capture one in a glass jar. Further, if War-Magi are close (say 100 meters) the spirits might automatically attach themselves to small organisms like fish (making the fish appear as if they glow). Long term effects of spirit attachement to organisms is being studied by the mages at Al'Gruin but there seem to be no special effects upon the host organism.
However, it should be said that these spirits don't obey you. At all. They merely glow a faint color (blue in case of water spirits). So far only New Engelican War-Magi managed to control and command spirits through the application of music. (ForKhorne is also busy researching familiars though he might use something else).
