Those guys are down South. In the North are many trees and some bears. Nothin' to see or kill, move along >.>

You know, guys, you would've been totally ready for this if you listened to The Bard's song:

Honestly, it's like with the words of the Starks. Inevitably they will come true.
Did...did we just go full biblical? It feels like such a story could easily be in the Old Testament or something.

Meanwhile Lifprasil is sitting around on Galbar.

Honestly I can't wait till Lif united all somewhat peaceful races of Galbar. Just so Reathos can unleash his Pronobii and the eternal winter on the world >.>
@Universorum I don't know if you don't remember but I'm not American. Any American references will fly right over my head.

From what I know (not an US citizen either) is that Denny's is some sort of highway stop or dinner with loads of coffee. Apparently most people don't 'start their evening' at it. You just sort of end up at Denny's. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
@Legion02 7 hours? Not the way Tas drives, lmao. Poor Alex, he's never experienced a Tas car pool.

Is going to be afraid? Something is telling me he's going to cling to his belt for his merry life.
are we doing the legit distance between dland and san francisco or are memestimating it.

Google maps says 7 hours driving or 407mi...

The tone of the words say 'sincere' but the subject of who is coming to visit says 'threat'....

To Elysium...Maybe?

To Gerrik, BBeast explained his methode of hero-ship. In short, Gerrik will take up an apprentice and he will become the hero when the time comes. So as long as Gerrik dies, Reathos has no problem.
There, Gerrik is now a Hero. That means I can finally get around to other business.

Thanks, @Muttonhawk, for the timely list of Hain expressions. You will note that I made good use of it.

Sheets will come eventually. I'm going away this weekend, then going back to uni after that, so time is against me.

I loved it. Honestly from all the demi-gods and heroes I'd want Reathos to visit, Gerrik (and Elysium) seem to interest me the most.

A third-child wannabe. But Vowzra was like: 'tis not Fated to be

Where is this unfated child!? Reathos will end his pathetic little life!

I was actually thinking that True Names should have some kind of power. Perhaps not complete control, as that would be OP, but some power. For instance, if someone knew their own True Name, they would become more capable of controlling their physical body and spirit, making them able to wield magic with more skill and to carry out more physically difficult activities more easily.
If someone else knew your True Name, they could hinder your ability to learn, make your body more sluggish etc. This isn't so important for gods (they can do that anyway) but would be interesting in the interactions of mortals with one another.

I would say that this wouldn't apply to gods and demigods.

I was planning on giving the True Names a certain power. In all honesty I was envisioning something more mental. Like one could access past memories through the True Names. Or increase focus through meditation, temporary 'separating' body and soul which could give certain insights into how the world of magic (and maybe the Gap?) worked. Those are all just mere suggestions.
