Before Alexander can reply, Tahlia had left, having rejected his olive branch. The fire faded out of his eyes soon after, as the necessity for it faded. The twenty-four year old sighed; he was not going to make a move against Tahlia until she had proven her loyalty or lack of. What he will do, however, was review what he vaguley knew about his fellow pilot; he recalled that the woman was an Australian 'priv' (aka a surface-dweller) who piloted a Spider-shaped NC?

Finally noticing Agatha, Alexander would take a good, long, look, but not recognize her, although he can tell that she somehow belonged here; her eyes said so. Taking a gamble, he said:

"Madam, I am honored to have a warrior skilled enough to survive to such a ripe old age be with us. And, I am sorry that you had to hear the...commotion between me and Ms. Styles, or rather, Ms. Funnel Spider." That was a reference to Tahlia's Australian origins and her NC. "Either way, you are very beautiful despite your advanced years, but you probably don't want to hear that."

He sniffed. Did someone just urinate within the tram? Well, not his business. He had a badass old lady to talk to.

"So," he finally decided to select a conversation topic, "How do you like Alaska? You must have seen a lot of harsh, but beautiful places in your time." A few moments to wait for a reply, before Alexander spoke again:

"If people call your part of life a 'winter', then it is a winter of calmness and dignity." Ugh, that sounded like I was making a pass at her; it doesn't help that I am right; she is attractive. "All right, I know you're not interested in me, but I still stand by my words." Alexander then tried to sidestep the subject.

"Either way, when will we get to New Anchorage?"

I couldn't decide who to talk to since Tahlia seems busy and getting caught in that crossfire seems like a bad move :/

I’d also like to point out that Nuts lives in Australia so please do not try to box them out by doing too many collabs or at least too many collabs that sort of disallow him from interacting with others due to his schedule. If a collab takes a few days to become a post that’s fine— and always be transparent about collabs in the future! Also, there is nothing wrong with writing short posts and interacting that way instead of just making our posts drawn out collaborations!
