As Leonard watched his non-droid mercenaries drill from the bridge, Pau Je, his Kaminoan scientist, approached him. He would then say in a cold and clinical tone: "A request, Mr. Scipio."

The businessman-turned-warlord looked to his side and nodded to give permission, Pau continued to speak, "Do you remember my original terms of employment?"

A nod, before Leonard would say, "I was sixteen then, but I remember promising you sanctuary and a chance to resume your research into biology and genetic engineering. That and a cloning facility, but the refusal of your own fellow cloners to join put paid to that notion." He pursed his lips. "Do not tell me that I failed the terms of our bargain."

Pau Je slightly bowed, then said, "Not yet, but you have not advanced its terms either. At first I can bear the lack of a cloning facility, because aside from the renegades who fled from Kamino before the Galactic Civil War, I did not have anyone to share my dreams with. But now, those renegades have reappeared, and they have already done what I wanted to do." A clinical sigh. "So, I seek either two things. One, to be given leave to join the Republic-in-Exile that the renegades are part of, or Two, for you to give me a reason to stay; right now, my scientific skills are underused."

Leonard nodded. "Granted; transportation will be provided. Anything else?"

Pau blinked. "You'd grant that so easily? You've changed; I thought you'd be more cruel."

A sigh, "I thought so too. But you'd be useful for building goodwill between my faction and the Republic Remnant. And unless you actively work to slander my name, you'd foster it even if you don't try to. Now, go in peace."

The Kaminoan responded in thanks, before heading out of The Gamechanger...

Snow Cecil, Hierophant, and Principality

Name: Snow Cecil

Weapon: A revolver with a mother-of-pearl-covered handle.

Personality: Snow is animated with a sense of purpose that gives him boundless energy when directed towards a cause that he is devoted to, but this sense of purpose also makes him pig-headed, stubborn, and sometimes arrogant in his determination. This is not helped by the fact that he does look down on others' intelligence, although the boy is quick to appreciate other people's 'qualities of heart'. At his heart is the need to be recognized, born of pride as well as insecurity, insecurity that he is anything without his intelligence. And finally, underneath it all is a desire to help others; he does care about other people despite his exterior.

Backstory: Snow was born a genius; that is not a good thing. Able to talk in complete sentences at eighteen months old, learning to walk at the age of one, and teaching himself to read one year later, Snow's gifts were admired by his parents even as the latter didn't know what to do with their child. This grew even worse when, at the age of six, the Dark Hour struck every midnight, forcing him to lock himself in his room lest he be eaten by the...creatures that roamed the world in that period of time. Otherwise, he and his family were relatively unaffected, with the latter being spared Apathy Syndrome.

As he grew up, Snow inevitably took an interest in both Occult Theory, High-End Phsyics, and considering his trauma, Psychology. He began obsessively researching the concept of the 'Collective Unconcious', as well as (secretly) theorized the existence of multiple planes of existence that overlapped with the 'regular' one. But the secrets behind the Dark Hour still eluded him. Then, The Fall happened, or rather, un-happened, and the Dark Hour stopped. But Snow's research did not; he would not let the secrets of the Supernatural get away from him so quickly! And then, when the Pied Piper Syndrome began putting children into a coma, Snow saw it as another break.

It was a good thing he was two years older than the victims' age range; that meant that he can find excuses to study the Syndrome...
