Mobile Suit Gundam: The Era of Anarchy

So I think I might actually have an idea of what to play now, the various tech levels threw me off. I'm not knowledgeable on Gundam lore and tech, so would I need to read up on anything, or can this be explained to me along the way?

You'll need to read up on the tech plus some ship and mobile suit models, but other than that, the lore is custom and customizable.

I'm interested, but I'd need some more setting info- are we talking Venus like in old pulp novels, a heavily jungled world with oceans of acid mists between "islands" that can only be crossed in Mobile Suits or special vehicles? What's the extraterrestrial situation? Can I play a Newtype monkey in a Barbus?

We can discuss that; rn, I am thinking that Venus has floating cities or colonies just above the atmosphere.

I like the idea of a Gundam roleplay, and would join. I'm a little worried about the size of this game. If we are all in such separate locations, how much interacting would we be doing?

Well, the ability to choose where you will be located also means being able to choose being near another OC.

Not just that, but you can have multiple OCs in multiple locations.

Although I'm probably most interested in Earth or Jupiter from what's been noted? But I'd be fine with anywhere as long as I'm not the only one there. XD

There are a few, but I am only friends with one or two. Or was it some other site (not mentioning any by name, btw, as RPGuild Rules say that all IC RP must be kept on RPGuild and I don't want to tempt anyone to go elsewhere)?

Nice. As for me, I eventually made Time Magic a 'Forbidden Area' of Magic that requires a lot of blood sacrifices or a gigantic magical structure to even attempt.
