Current Noble Arms is now either four years old, or three years and eleven months. The third thread had lasted for more than one year.

My Roleplay, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, will reach its 4th year in June or July. It's been a long journey.

Despite its massive flaws, my RP, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, is still one of the longest ongoing RPs in RPGuild - It turns 4 years old in July and the current thread itself is more than a year old.

Cannot think up a coherent personality and biography for my merc, sadly.
Tuan's player, Hyperion, has left; after a private talk, we have decided that his presence in my RP and its associated Discord Server won't serve either of us.
Name: Daniel Iskander Tripp

Appearance:

Age: 16

Bio: Born on Earth to a family of accomplished Academics, Daniel had always wanted to go out into space to see different sights, people, and cultures. Due to Earth's academics and scientists being respected enough, due to Earth's governments avoiding the mistakes made in other universes, the boy was able to go into orbit early with his father, Deuel, his mother, Maria, and his twin, Leon, and found doors opening for them in the Colonies, Venus, and Mars as soon as their mission was known. Then suddenly, on a trip to the Asteroid Belt, pirates attacked, and while all of them survived, Daniel was separated from his family and captured.

Then, the Pirates sold him off to an unknown Jupiter Nation, who tested him for 'Newtype Powers'; he had them. He was then kept imprisoned and interrogated for every bit of knowledge he had about the rest of the Earth Sphere, even as he began to develop the powers he had been tested for under the stress. What saved him from despair was talking to one of his guards, one Kazuki Yamagata, whom he told about life outside of the Jovian Region. Nevertheless, he was surprised when one day, Kazuki busted into his cell after blowing up the door and said, "We're getting out. Also, may I call you Daniel?"

Daniel knew he was sincere. Daniel knew he had to get out, lest the Unknown Jupiter Nation grow even stronger and pose a threat to the rest of Human Space. So he nodded and let Kazuki lead him out and into his Mobile Suit, the Mercurius.

And so they went off, hoping to find another faction to warn of this new foe!

Mundane Skills: History, Literature, Photography, Videogames, Math, Science, and Computers.

Personality: Daniel is a kind and curious soul, quick to like other people and hope to be liked back. Nevertheless, as a sixteen-year-old kid who is well away from familiar territory, reliant on a protector who may turn against him should he not fulfil his implied promises, and who, above all, misses his family, he is under a lot of stress. And of course, he is a Newtype who is experiencing visions of death and disaster from a dozen different potential sources. Life is not good for Daniel right now...

Are you a Newtype or Cyber-Newtype (Nerfed), Coordinator, or have the Alaya-Vijyana System implanted into your spine? Y (Newtype.)
Name: Kazuki Yamagata

Appearance:

Age: 18

Bio: There is a rising power in Jupiter, a power that is slowly subduing the warlords of the region. Hungry for revenge on Mars after the crushing debts imposed on the Jovian region, after the settlers there caused the AI Rebellion. It is not a kind power; rather, it is an Empire that seeks to take over all of Human Space and impose its vision of 'genetic determinism' on all members of the species. Kazuki was born in that 'Jupiter Nation', and selected at an early age to be a soldier and bodyguard; that was his destiny and that was all he was supposed to ever be.

He was supposed to guard a prisoner. The prisoner was a boy from Earth, some sort of prodigy academic with some sort of 'Newtype' gift. They talked, they became friends, and Kazuki realized that he had missed out in life. So Kazuki broke his prisoner out, and the two of them are on the run, hoping to find a way back to Earth...

Mundane Skills: Firearms, Unarmed Combat, Computers, Mobile Suit Piloting.

Personality: Kazuki wants to experience the different life his new friend and partner had described, a life not regimented, not caged by strict discipline and cold brutality. Kazuki wants to experience kindness, friendship, and even love. Now 'awakened' to the existence of such things, Kazuki forges on to take them, not willing to be denied. In short, he is trying to find himself, and one day, he will be the man raised in a desert, but who has found a Garden.

Are you a Newtype or Cyber-Newtype (Nerfed), Coordinator, or have the Alaya-Vijyana System implanted into your spine? Coordinator (with a Natural mother; has Newtype potential).

If you quote the original post that contains the CS template, it has all of the BBCode formatting done already, so all you would need to do is fill in the placeholder text with your own material.

This can be a little tricky, since mis-aligning tags can cause errors and break the formatting. Best practice is usually to write your CS separately in a word processor, copy/paste it into the BBCode formatting bit by bit, and make extensive use of the Preview function to make sure everything lines up.

To add to this, Tealroots, clicking the 'Raw' button above every post allows one to get the BBCode formatting of said post.
@Terry Bogard, Approval Two given. You can post now.

Hmm... Mercenary down on his luck yet wants to make a positive difference. Would that work?
@Terry Bogard, sadly, this does not go with the lore. I cannot give approval.
Field of Cars, File Island, Digital World

Dorumon sensed it; he was in danger of being unable to persuade the group. So he fell back on his trump card, the revelation that, "You're physically in the Digital World; your bodies have been converted into a mix of data and magical - I mean extradimensional energy. Which brings us to what reasons you have to fight: The Digital World reflects the Real World, like, for example, how the Warp from Warhammer 40k is fed by human emotions and thoughts. Only, we're friendlier; closer to Machine Spirits, the Sanguinor, and the Emperor of Man's direct servants, the Living Saints. You helped create us through your emotions and computer data, and now Lucemon and the Seven Demon Lords are taking advantage of that to eventually breach the boundary between worlds and break through to the Real World to harvest Humanity's emotional energy."

The purple-furred Digimon then began tossing the Digivices to each of the Humans, with Vergil's being thrown at his head. He then turned his white-tipped snout to Kai and said, "Sadly, Lucemon stole the Digivice intended for you, though your intended partner has not listened to him or even been approached by him. This means that we need to recover it if you are to join us - And make no mistake, we are us.” He turned to look more broadly at the group as a whole. “Unless you would all like both worlds turned into hellholes?"

Elecmon's eyes were wider than usual, their purple fuzzy eyebrows twitching as he looked at Dorumon. For a moment, he fully believed his best friend, but then he scented the faintest hint of... no, it cannot be. There's no way that Dorumon genuinely believed that the children with Lucemon would gladly help with the harvest of their home world.

A snarl escaped his mouth as he looked at his companion and said, "No need to overuse the stick. If you keep doing that to these kids, I may think better of our agreement to let you guard the Village of Beginnings."

He then turned to the rest of the Humans and other Digimon, saying, "All right! Here's a better explanation - Lucemon is planning to destroy the Real World, where your homes are. If we stop him, you're saving the world - two worlds - and then Dorumon can try and get you all back - Wait, Dorumon, why can’t we bring these kids back and get some trained soldiers instead?”

Dorumon glared at his friend before saying in a tone as rough as gravel, “I can only open a portal to and from both worlds once, while Lucemon can do so functionally unlimited times, and I do not know how he does that. But if he can be defeated, we can find that out. That is what I am saying, Elecmon; just accept it.”

Elecmon flinched, then his eyes lit up in anger for a moment before he turned to the kids and followed up with, “Now, how do we fight this menace? Well, it's simple: Digivices allow you to feed small, controlled amounts of emotional energy to your partners, which allows them to 'Digivolve', aka change to another form. Your job is to get stronger by forming emotional bonds with them while fighting the enemy. However, just because you're made up of data and magic does not mean you're stronger or can endure more than your normal human bodies can; what you suffer affects yourselves in the Real World once you come back."

Elecmon then promised, "And make no mistake, you will come back to your homes - I swear on it."

Andrew Starling caught his Digivice after it was tossed to him, then walked towards Elecmon, saying, "I think you're telling a little bit of the truth. But how should we start?"

"Well..." Elecmon looked towards the far end of the sandy Field of Cars, where the ground smoothed downward to a beach, still strewn with haphazardly arranged vehicles. "There is one more thing we forgot to tell you..."

A dome of saltwater rose from the sea, snapping and splashing everyone as what was beneath it, a long-jawed, silver-scaled, sharp-toothed fish-like creature whose fins were articulated like crude limbs with sharp claws, crawled towards them.

"Coealmon!," Dorumon said. "ClavisAngemon must have sent out the bounty earlier than we thought!"

Elecmon then followed up with, "ClavisAngemon, a former comrade of ours' and Lord of File Island, has decided that all Humans are a danger and that they are to be hunted down - Along with their Digimon Partners…"

Coelamon confirmed this in the bluntest way possible, by firing a jet of water so fast it might as well be a spear, at Dorumon’s position.
