Charlie Fox - The veteran Purple Dino Ranger and current intern for Human Enhancement and Advanced Research Technologies (HEART) Corporation. A prodigy since a young age, Charlie has shifted from simply being the brains of the team a decade ago to the full-on leader today. Just don't make a joke about her height!
Sam Henderson - The new Blue Dino Ranger and younger brother of fallen Ranger Andre Henderson. Sam has been somewhat exposed to the Rangers at a younger age given that his brother was once one. When the opportunity to step into his brother's shoes presents itself, Sam doesn't hesitate to become a hero.
David Varela - The veteran Green Dino Ranger and aspiring archaeologist. David knows exactly what it means to carry the responsibility of being a Ranger as evidence by the scar across his chest from a battle years ago. With the chance to fight once again, David is ready to do what it takes for the sake of the world.
Lee Hanuel - The new Pink Dino Ranger and versatile performing artist. Lee is not unfamiliar with being in the spotlight as an influencer, however that spotlight will be a bit different as a Ranger. His charisma and confidence will be an essential addition to the team... or get him in trouble with bad guys!
Jade Taylor - The veteran Black Dino Ranger and leather donning bad ass. Jade's experience as Ranger presented her with lifelong family and friends, but also some dark trauma she hasn't quite confronted. Her bike has taken her to many places aside from Angel Grove, but now she is back and prepared to face a new threat.
Aurora Velez - The new Red Dino Ranger and the new kid on the block in Angel Grove. Despite Aurora's newness to the city, her relentless nature make her perfect example of what it means to be a Ranger. The team is in need of her street smarts given the mixture of technical intelligence from the other Rangers.
Ten years ago, a group of "Teenagers with Attitude" were summoned to face an evil force that threatened to destroy Earth. This group of kids were chosen to wield superhuman abilities as they fought evil while maintaining their private lives. What started as a relatively manageable situation soon evolved into higher stakes. With the forces of evil developing over the course of time, the Power Rangers, as they were named, learned the cost of fighting a war that was much bigger than they could have imagined. Ultimately, the forces of good overcame evil, but it was not without loss.
Some of the Rangers perished to their injuries, simply becoming casualties of war. Other Rangers disappeared into obscurity, wanting to live a normal life while attempting to overcome trauma and sustain their mental health. And then there were those who were sitting idle, waiting in paranoia for the next wave of evil. What neither of them realize, however, is the impending doom that awaits Earth. It's been a decade since the Power Rangers have been seen and we need them now more than ever.
S E T T I N G
"Rangers" takes place in Angel Grove, California in an alternate universe of the television show. Ten years after a group of chosen teens became Power Rangers and saved the world from an villainous group, one of the former Rangers finds out that the world is in great danger again. Therefore, she must recruit some former Rangers to join the team or some new faces that can prove to be useful in this new battle.

The age of the Rangers will range from 20 to 25 years old.
The original Rangers received their powers when they were "Teenagers with Attitude" in high school. Almost a decade later, at least the ones that survived the war, they are young adults (23 to 25) with their own set of issues including work, families, and other personal issues. With this in mind, they are more than likely older than the newcomers. The newcomers are probably on the younger end (20 to 22 years old), but the Rangers would be intentional about recruiting young adults and not teenagers. No way in hell would a 16 year old know how to deal with the threat that they are about to deal with.
There are a handful of veteran Rangers that will be willing to re-join the team for the sake of saving the world once again. They may or may not be as receptive to the newcomers, especially since they lost comrades in the war. In my mind, there are only one to two additional veterans that will comprise the entire team of Rangers. The newcomers, on the other hand, would be equal to or outnumber the veterans.
Ranger colors are not gender exclusive. There could very well be a female Red Ranger and a male Pink Ranger. Also, "Red" isn't the de facto leader of the team. Each Ranger will be able to contribute their respective skills and traits in a way that should allow them to be a leader at any given time. The Rangers would, however, get direction from the Command Center.
"Active" means that a specific Ranger Designation is available to apply for. "Out of Commission" means that a role is not available. When a role is "Taken", the character first and last name will be displayed next to the Ranger Designation.

This is not a first-come, first-serve sort of roleplay. I'm looking for roleplayers that can vibe with a casually advanced roleplay while also providing great characters.
Once you are done with your Character Sheet, please PM it to me so that I can evaluate it before acceptance. Do NOT post your CS in the Character or OOC section until approved. PLEASE NOTE: You may not receive your preference for Ranger color.
That being said, the aim of this RP is for it to be a small group RP. I'm looking for no more than maybe 5-ish roleplayers depending on the vibe. Those who are accepted will be able to write up to 2 characters.
Please post at least once per week in character. There will be instances where the group may be split up into separate groups to handle a task or quest so the Rangers won't always be together. Because this is a casually advanced RP though, I'm providing a little bit of leeway in posting. The goal is for this to be a long-term plot with minimal pressure. If you are unable to continue the RP, let me know so that we can phase out your character.
The roleplay will be a combination of slice of life, action, and adventure. Feel free to create your own subplots with other characters (enemies, friends, lovers), but just make sure that the other person approves of it.
I'm not enforcing a Discord server for OOC in this group plot. All important OOC information will be posted in the OOC forum. This is mainly because not everyone wants to use Discord and I don't want to leave people out. However, feel free to add me on Discord and direct questions to me there or via PM here.
The RP takes place in the fictional city of Angel Grove, CA (for nostalgia purposes) in an alternate universe.
1.Back to Action - With a new found threat emerging from the Morphin Grid, Charlie Fox, former Purple Ranger, is looking to recruit some new prospects help her in the fight. However, she's not the only person doing a bit of recruitment herself.
Charlie Fox was excited about the possibilities of working for the Human Enhancement and Advanced Research Technologies Corporation (otherwise, known as HEART Corp). A decade removed from the war, she was invested in using her skills in technology and engineering to better the world. What better place to work than HEART Corp? With her relentless work ethic and portfolio to back it up, she was blessed with the opportunity to work on a top secret assignment with the project director, Dominic Monroe. The project, dubbed Project Ranger, was an initiative to reopen the Morphin Grid, tapping into the powers used by the Rangers a decade ago.
HEART Corp was able to access the shattered remains of the Power Crystals which allowed them to link them to new Ranger suits and weapons. Unfortunately, this process, along with the sheer energy force that was coming from HEART Corp, directly attracted an evil force into the world. With HEART Corp feeling guilty about this, they felt the need to expedite carrying out Project Ranger. The retrieved Power Crystals were able to power up these new suits made by HEART Corp, but the human connection was something that could not be created by man; the Morphin Grid had to choose who would pilot these suits, something that Charlie knew as a former Ranger herself.
The entire project made Charlie feel dirty, which was why when she found her opportunity, she grabbed as many of the morphers as she could before fleeing HEART Corp's premises. She sought to take matters into her own hands now that she knew what the dangers the world was about to face once again. Her hope was to find some of her old comrades to see if they would be willing to fight once again or potentially find new blood that reminded her of her Ranger family from ten years ago.
Meanwhile, HEART Corp's CEO Simon Stone, who has grown upset about Project Ranger's details being stolen from under his nose, has given the project director permission to go out and do his own recruitment. They need to protect the city of Angel Grove from this new evil while also ensuring that Project Ranger's technology is rightfully returned to the ones who created it. Willingly or forcefully.
O B J E C T I V E S
Sam & Lee - Lee is accompanying Sam at the Angel Grove Outlet Mall since the latter is looking to upgrade his wardrobe going into the new academic year at Angel Grove University. Charlie has been "on the run" from HEART Corp for a few weeks now, still in search of anyone who can develop a link to the other two Power Crystals she has in her possession. Because of the project's top secret nature, her theft isn't something that is reported by the news and kept completely under wraps. In the midst of their shopping, Sam sees someone who appears to be the former Purple Dino Ranger walking around and is reminded of the sacrifice his brother Andre made. Before he can approach her, the mall immediately is under attack by some otherworldly looking creatures.
Fend off the creatures as best as you can and meetup with the Purple Dino Ranger once it dies down.
Jade, David, & Aurora - The Angel Grove Hiking Trails is always a great place to enjoy the outdoors. With her return to Angel Grove for the first time in years, Jade wanted to enjoy a walk along the mountainous trails before diving back into the busy city life. For David, hiking on the trails is part of his routine, as someone who frequently hikes. So, imagine his surprise crossing paths with his former Ranger teammate for the first time in a decade. Aurora, meanwhile, is casually walking along the trails as well, taking pictures with her camera, yearning for visual inspiration in her new city. Perhaps she talks to Jade or David along the way. Regardless, David and Jade's worlds are turned upside down once again when they are attacked by the same creatures that's causing havoc at the mall. For Aurora, this isn't an ideal beginning in Angel Grove either, getting attacked by weird creatures.

Hey Guild! Going to try and keep this as minimal as possible, but please do not mistake my minimalism with lack of quality posts. I assure you, that I am very capable of providing something great to reply to and a fun RP to begin plotting.
I'm LG and I have several years of experience with roleplaying. Pokemon is one of my "comfort" series in terms of the Anime, Game and Roleplaying. It can be light-hearted or serious depending on where the plot takes us and I find it one of the easier genres to pick up and run with. I'm specifically looking for a partner willing to play a female character against mine in one of a few different scenarios that I will explain below.
Some things to consider before reaching out:
Preference for a literate partner that is capable of writing multiple paragraphs (or novella posts) but also understand when shorter posts are necessary to further the plot along.
21+ partners, please. Honestly, the older the better because that's more of my speed. Someone who understands the balance between real life and in-character.
Fundamental knowledge of the Pokemon series. You don't have to know every single detail, but a foundational knowledge would be great.
Willingness and competence to write side characters in addition to our main two OCs.
Romance in some capacity. It isn't the driving point of the RP itself, but it does provide something additional to plot.
Character sheets are not required prior to the RP. I find that CS's tend to hinder RPs from actually starting, so I like waiting a little bit before creating those. A simple discussion about our characters will suffice.
Now, as far as the actual roleplays themselves, I have a few things that I would like to do and would be open to discussions about them. When you do reach out, please let me know which plots interest you the most or if you have anything else you would like to add.
Journey RP - In this roleplay, our characters will be starting out on their journey through a region. We can choose for them to be traveling together or map out the moments where they cross paths along the way. In this instance, my character would be a Trainer with aspirations of conquering the Pokemon League. Your character can be looking to do the same or perhaps fulfilling another dream (Pokemon Contests for example). We will establish a villainous organization or a crime syndicate that our characters will have to overcome as well as perhaps coming across Legendary Pokemon. Very much so a "slice of life" roleplay with an end goal in mind. If you've read the Pokemon Adventures manga before or are familiar with it, think of this RP as that sort of vibe: high stakes, dangerous moments, a bit of a darker tone but still light-hearted at times.
Trainer Camp RP - The basis for this RP is similar to Percy Jackson. No, Trainers aren't "Demigods" but the idea is that they have a special link to certain Legendary Pokemon that gives them a supernatural "boost" in terms of how they are able to operate in battle or in other areas. Trainers who have these special links to Legendary Pokemon are recruited into a "Trainer Camp" where they work on honing their links as well as their battle acumen. Then, they are occasionally given prophetic quests that ensure that the balance of the world remains in order. Our characters would be two of the campers who are given their first quest and must overcome all of the obstacles along the way.
Pokemon Academy RP - Nothing like a good ol' school-based RP, right? Think of something along the lines of Harry Potter or Yu-Gi-Oh GX where students are admitted into an Academy with the goal of graduating at the top of their class while they are preparing for their professional lives on the other side. Trainers, Coordinators, Breeders, Gym Leaders, etc. Any occupation in the Pokemon world and the Academy prepares them for it. A potential antagonist would be an entity that is not in favor of the academy system (I can explain further details in our conversation). Or maybe it's something else that we could discuss. Very much so a school "slice of life" RP with occasional battles and adventures outside of class
