A beauty if there ever was one, Aimee has used every cream, lotion, and beauty product imaginable to make sure it stays that way--and vampirism has only cut out some of those products. Standing at five feet five inches, Aimee's body is hourglass shaped, an admirable shape to match her seductress persona. Years of working on her body has left her toned, tanned, and slim. Her heart shaped face ends with her cleft chin, lips plump and usually bearing some sort of lipstick with a smile, cheeks always blushed, dazzling blue eyes with long eyelashes and perfectly plucked eyebrows completing her look. Her hair is blonde, its length easily sweeping the middle of her back, her bangs usually swept to the side.

Her outfits are feminine, sometimes frilly, and always fashionable. They tend to accentuate her body, though she loves the gazes she gets from them as clothes do make the woman. She prefers short skirts and dresses that show off her long legs, though admittedly, they're a hell of a lot easier for her to run and jump around in. She's almost always wearing a pair of heels, favoring those with either a sharp end (easier to stab an enemy with) or a clunkier heel (gives a little more force to her kicks). She actually doesn't like to wear too much jewelry, though she does have her ears pierced and does like to wear bracelets. She has a very cliche tattoo of a tiny pair of wings on her shoulder blades, though they're usually covered by her hair.

Her specialty would probably be influencing her prey's mood to one she likes--an insatiable lust, forcing them to want her. She reads body language well, picking up quickly on those who have weaker wills. She's quite observant, though in a fight would rely more on strength than agility, believing that there's no need for speed when you can just bulldoze your opponents over.

as she prefers direct confrontation.

Aimee's pride is only second to her own vanity. She looks good, and she knows it; she believes that people should take advantage of everything they have, and she knows how to use her beauty as a weapon. She embodies the image of a temptress to the fullest, and enjoys seducing those to bend to her will. She'll use, abuse, and throw away a person once she's said and done. If she could marry her own reflection, she would. But of course, beyond the pretty face, there is a semblance of a personality that has nothing to do with the seductress.

Above all, she looks out for herself above all else. There's no point in relying on others so long as you can keep your own. She is on the quieter side, if she isn't looking for prey she does enjoy having pleasant conversations. While she isn't an intellect, she does enjoy listening to people explain things to her, and knows how to ask questions with genuine curiosity. She does keep to herself, always having a wall between her and whoever bothers trying to get to know her. Her trust issues run deep, though she's able to work with anyone and follows orders well enough.

In her 'previous life', Aimee was born to a poor, but well meaning family. She had ambition and drive even when she was young, and so decided to work hard to make something of herself, and to make her parents proud. As she grew older and developed into a pretty girl, she began to use her wiles to help get what she wanted. She found it was so easy to string people along, and she was much too good at it. Her well intentions melted away, her ambition turning into greed as she climbed her way to the top, culminating in having an affair with an older, married man at the age of seventeen. Said man had much wealth, and she convinced him to give her a part of his fortune.

She did, however, make a mistake of targeting him; little did she know of his involvement in illegal trafficking, and when she tried to get more money out of him, she soon found herself at the end of a barrel pointed straight at her. All the money she had convinced the man to give her was taken away, and while she was told she was lucky to have gotten out of the situation with her life, she couldn't stand the thought of losing everything. In a fit of rage, she confronted him, though this time, she caught the attention of the man's wife, a vampire by the name of Giselle Benvenuto.

Giselle believed she had known too much, though she had taken a personal interest in her. Aimee had no belief in the supernatural before then, though found herself at Giselle's beck and call, and was turned against her will. In time, however, she would quickly begin to see the perks to vampirism. As she was turned at what she believed to be the peak of her youth and beauty, she would never have to worry about getting old, she would never have to worry about anyone threatening her. She stayed with Giselle for a long time, falling in love with her, though Giselle rejected her. Shortly afterwards, a confrontation between a group of witches and Giselle's coven resulted in many casualties, It was then Aimee decided to take her leave and abandon her old life, leaving her name behind, and starting over.

She wasn't quite sure where to go or what to do, though she ended up going over to Boston, Massachusetts after seeing them looking for models for a company named Brass Clothing. Seeing as how she felt the entire world should know her beauty, she signed a contract, and the whispers of Salem reached her shortly thereafter, cementing her new home.

EDIT: I guess to more answer whether or not it's allowed -- yes. It is allowed. But if you choose to make a witch using both regular and voodoo magic, they probably won't be nearly as strong as somebody who practices regular magic primarily, or voodoo magic primarily. Especially if it's a witch practicing their inherited magical branch.

William looks rather young, thanks to his constant smiling and the bright glint in his gray eyes. He stands at a height of 5'10, which is rather average for someone of his age, and weighs averagely, if not only a little more thanks to his activeness and muscles beginning to form instead of fat. He isn't bulky though, instead being somehow athletic and unassuming. This is especially true because of how he hides most of his body under his clothing. He has light brown hair which is rather unruly but he tries his best to make it as presentable as possible, though he may choose to wear a beanie just in case he feels cold.

William doesn't have many scars, but the ones he does have is rather nasty. With previous encounters with much more aggressive werewolves, he has retained three long claw marks on his back and two more on his front, going along diagonally. He has a couple of nicks found on his arms but he makes sure to cover it up with his clothing. He has a small scratch mark near his chin, though barely anyone notices it and he likes it that way. He doesn't like talking about them after all.

In terms of clothing, William wears anything that can cover him up well and still looks comfortable. These, more often than not, include simple shirts and jackets and some cargo pants. While he is a werewolf whose body temp is higher than normal, he still likes to wrap himself up. No one is sure if he actually feels uncomfortable under this since he actually wears them to cover up nasty scars that he doesn't like explaining to anyone, but he does seem to like wearing them even without its practicality. He typically wears a magical necklace during the days leading up to the full moon.

Wolf Form

He bites his cheeks whenever he gets embarrassed, or maybe even scratches it in other circumstances.

He's rather restless, so one can almost always see him tapping his foot or finger.

He hums to himself whenever he does something. Most often, he would heard humming a lullaby. Where he learnt it from is a mystery, since his mother never sang him one. Or at least, not that one.

He mumbles to himself frequently. It's often done so he can remember something he has to do. Though sometimes he just thinks out loud.

He tends to find himself outside of town and just walking around - whether in human or wolf form, but never in partial form as that may lead to some unfortunate circumstances when someone sees him.

He plays the guitar and sings every now and then. Usually, he does it when in the presence of children but he can be found simply doing it by himself in the park.

He collects bugs. If one were to go to his house, one would see his many tanks of bugs littered around it. Because he lives alone, he's able to decorate it however he pleases.

For no rhyme or reason, he has an intense fear of heights. While he can get over it by simply looking ahead and attempting not to look down, it still makes him move rather slow. This can lead him to some unsavory circumstances.

Understandably, he's scared of silver. From silverware to silver objects, he's deathly afraid of it. While he can tolerate being around it, he gets nervous around them. He often chalks it up to having been cut by silverware before that causes him to stay away from anything silver. He claims it to be a 'childhood fear'.

He's scared of hurting someone when in his wolf form, especially if it's in the full moon. He never wishes anyone to be harmed, aside from those who truly deserve it. While he doesn't lose control too much under the influence of the full moon thanks to the special necklace a witch made for him, but he still fears that something wrong might happen and he accidentally harms someone else.

William knows what had happened to his parents, and that he was completely at fault for their deaths. He only acts that he doesn't know because he feels guilty about it. If not for his utter stupidity before, his parents wouldn't have been dead right now.

He secretly transforms himself and hides around different parts of the town, often seen within the thick mini-forests just in case there is a human who finds themselves lost. He guides them back to the town and then retreats before a hunter could see him. Though he does seem to do well in acting like a normal wolf.

Like any other werewolf, he has enhanced strength, speed, regeneration and senses.

He has ridiculously good sense of hearing and smell. Because of his better senses, he is able to eavesdrop rather easily and track someone down. Even William isn't sure why he has better sense of hearing and smell, but he tries to use it to his full advantage.

While his transformations take a while, he does have the ability to shift into partial werewolf form. Though this may be because he transforms much more frequently than most.

Oddly, he knows how to handle a bow well. When he doesn't hunt in his wolf form, he usually takes a bow and arrow - preferring them to their louder versions, guns.

He's much more affected by sensory overload than other werewolves. While he is training to block sound off, he's having trouble when it comes to his smelling. While he enjoys interacting with people, he hates going to overcrowded areas since he hears more than he wants - and it just makes him lose concentration. Don't get me started on guns...

He's still rather young, and therefore a lot more inexperienced than others. This may lead to him now knowing what to do at times, or even making wrong decisions.

He needs to transform more often than others - already feeling uncomfortable after three days of not transforming. No one is sure why this happens, but it does and he tends to succumb to transforming.

William had always been a friendly person, ever since she was a child. It doesn't matter if you're a stranger or a close friend, his approach doesn't change. With a smile on his face, he greets anyone and is willing to talk to anyone who needs it. He's very emphatic which leads to him always trying to help others - and his sensitive hearing often helps him spot who's having trouble and tries his best to cheer them up. However, he does know when he has pushed it and a person is uncomfortable, at those times, he simply bids farewell, offer them a smile and his help if they ever need it, and then walk away.

He tends to trust people way too easily. Whether it be a hunter or a supernatural, he's more than willing to be their friends even with the repercussions when they figure out who he is. He wants to give everyone a chance because, after all, they're all just living beings in the same world who can communicate so why should they keep on fighting each other? Of course, he does know that he has to keep him being a werewolf a secret, since it would be detrimental to his relationships with others and may even lead to his untimely death. Because he tends of giving second chances, it may prove to be a liability especially when someone is taking advantage of him as he becomes adamant that they're actually trying to do good, even if they're only using him.

For someone of his age and his course of life, he still manages to smile through everything and remain optimistic. Though he's much more of an idealist, he knows that not everything would end up well and knows when he has to fight back. Especially when it comes to those supernaturals who break the rules that have been laid out to them, he will fight them if need be. They don't help when it comes to his goal of having humans and supernaturals co-exist. Many have called him delusional for thinking that such an idea could work, but he doesn't listen to them. He wants to make the world a better place - is it so bad to think about it like that?

I don't think it's that long but still...

Born to the werewolf Bill Maervsky and the human Tavia Maervsky, William had a relatively well off life. By some miracle or just them being pure lucky, Tavia and William survived the birthing process and Bill considering all of them to be blessed. To have such a successful birth was rare among the species, and Bill was aware of that. He had secretly wished that his son wouldn't be a werewolf, but alas, he was. He felt even more thankful that both of them had survived, since it has been widely known that they were even more harder to conceive than normal human children. Bill and Tavia made their best attempts for William to have a normal childhood, and it paid off. William had grown to be a friendly, cheerful and helpful child.

In terms of his transformations, Bill thought of no reason why he can't practice in it. While they requested a witch friend to make a special necklace for William when the full moon rolls around, Bill had to teach him how to transform properly when not under the influence of the full moon. The Maervsky household had a basement where they could practice their transformations and where they could transform safely. The walls were sound proof so no one could hear their howls. They had built a separating wall for Bill and William, and Tavia would rest easy at the house above - knowing that the two most important people in her life would be safe from the hunters.

William's odd ability of being more sensitive than others had come up when he was rather young, and thus, he was prone to tantrums. Though it wasn't enough to drive him to transform to a wolf, it was still enough for him to suddenly harm someone around him. Thankfully, it never happens around other children, but rather other werewolves so no one really said a word about it. When the pack finally figured out why William was having tantrums, they quickly tried to train him to control himself better. He managed to control his emotions of fury, but William consistently avoids any places with a large concentration of people - or areas with loud equipment. It's why construction never bodes well for him and he loses sleep over it.

Meanwhile, he does have a good relationship with the other children. He has a lot of stamina thanks to his wolf blood and thus can play a lot more. He talks and plays with almost any children and his friendly personality earned him many friends - and has even been known to talk frequently with shy people in classes. He knows how to approach them properly and to not intimidate them with his energy. He mellows down for them and this causes them to open up to him a bit more.

The Maervsky family had always been under the radar when it came to hunters, so they had no special worry in that regard. However, when it came to other supernaturals, they were well-known for their willingness to step up to anyone who dares disrupt the peace of Salem. William was unaware of this and by the age of ten, he had befriended a rather nasty werewolf. The werewolf was trying to lure him in and turn him against the pack, and William was none the wiser. If not for this encounter, none of the tragedies in his life would have ever happened. Had he not been foolish enough to not see the wickedness in the werewolf, nothing would have ever changed. But alas, William was young and foolish and things must happen for him to learn.

William was led to believe that at the night of the full moon, something special would happen. He foolishly wondered what it was and escaped his house during the night of the full moon, only before the sun would set. Bill and Tavia panicked when they couldn't find their child and Bill tracked him down to a nearby forest. That was when they all transformed painfully under the full moon while Tavia watched in panic. Bill, having forgotten his necklace at home, began to violently attack anyone in sight - the first one being his wife. He then engaged battle with the other werewolf. William, frightened, hid behind one of the bushes and watched as the two wolves tore each other apart. Suddenly, hunters came around and put an end to the battle. William spent the night, alone, shivering and regretting everything. That was the day William Harold Maervsky was orphaned.

He came back to his home three days later, starving and tired. He had spent the past three days in his wolf form, roaming around the forest. He cried and fainted soon after. He woke up and then promptly began feeling like himself again. When other packmates had found him in his house, he was then asked what had happened to his parents since Tavia Maervsky had been found dead and was buried while Bill was nowhere to be found - assumed to have been eaten by the werewolves who were fighting. William lied about it and told them that he didn't know, and faked being confused. His mind barred the memories and instinctively told everyone a lie - hoping that if he lied enough, he would soon convince himself that it wasn't his fault. That he wasn't the cause of his parents dying. That he wasn't the cause of them running out that night. That he wasn't the cause of them wondering where he was.

Feeling pity for the young werewolf, one of his packmates - Volber Vulric, owner of the local butcher shop, took him and made him work there to earn some food to live. He had been offered sympathy and was able to continue all the way to high school thanks to the kindness of everyone he had met. This led him to believe that he could still trust others. That not everyone was bad. He slowly became happier and happier until where he was today. However, what also remained was a searing hatred for any of the supernaturals who stepped out of line - who decided that ruining the peace in their community was the right thing to do. He trained himself so that he would be able to fight them off. He trained tirelessly so that he could transform partially and willingly used his better heightened senses to track down those who wronged the community. This led him to many encounters and fights. He earned many scars because of them, those he hid from his friends.

There had been once incident that the pack was fighting with two rogue wolves who were more skilled in fighting than they were. William had been part of the attacking team and was severely injured thanks to his inexperience in the battlefield. He had been swiped at the back and then again at the front. He was left bleeding and slowly dying. It was only thanks to his regenerative abilities and the help of his packmates that he managed to survive. The two wolves had been defeated, however, and all was pretty well for them. William admitted that the battle had been very fierce and he swore to make himself better when it comes to fighting.

He never went on to college and opted to stay with Volber. There were two reasons: One, he didn't have the money nor the smarts to get into university and pay for the tuition fee. Two, he didn't exactly have any sort of goal in his mind other than protecting what is already around him - his city, or at least, what he can. He settled down into his usual normal life. He would often be one of the first people to greet a newcomer and even give them a tour of the place. He doesn't do much and people wonder where he gets the food and the money to buy clothes, but he only responds that it was because of his work with Volber and also because he gets tips from the ones he gives tours to.

William had a history with one of the witches of Salem - a young woman named Jamie. They were the best of friends that soon became lovers when he was eighteen. They would often be seen together. They were overall a sweet couple who doesn't show much affection in public, or even in private. Jamie had always invited him over and they would watch some scary shows just because, and then laugh at those movies that depicted them wrong. Nothing much had changed between them being best friends and them being lovers. This lasted for a year before they eventually broke up, thinking that it would be best if they simply stayed as best friends. They do admit that it had been quite a ride and everything had been going on well - but they just don't think they're right for each other. Jamie had since moved on to another boyfriend but still keeps William close to her heart as her "bestest friend" and he completely accepts it.

William never cared much for the hierarchy of their current pack. He is somewhere around the "Subordinate Class" - something that is in between the Beta and the Omega. However, he doesn't really care much for ranks. When their alpha challenged the new werewolf - a woman named Blaine Moore who he felt was admittedly dominant - he expected that it would like any other time. But Blaine had won and took over the supremacy. However, like before, there isn't much difference since she generally keeps to herself. William does tend to visit her every now and then - as he does with all of the werewolves in Salem and sometimes even other supernaturals who reside there, depending on his standing with them. Despite rivalries before, William never felt any sort of hostility towards or from the vampires so he became acquaintances with the lot of them.

With the shifts and the mysterious symbols coming up, William becomes more and more worried. He didn't know what was happening and he was hoping that it wouldn't be too bad.

- He struggles with learning new languages, so he often resorts to reading body languages when it comes the time for when he needs to listen to someone who speaks another language.

I have two questions about vampires.
1. When it comes to sunlight, are we talking about direct skin contact? Could a 'heavily dressed' vampire walk a block or three with minimum to no damage from the sun? Or will the vampire burn despite the clothing?
2. Can vampires ingest regular food/drink to appear more human?

Being heavily dressed and shaded from direct sunlight definitely reduces the effects of sunlight to a vampire, but they will still feel the effects given enough time. If you're wearing long pants, shoes, a big sweatshirt, a visor, and you're using an umbrella, you're definitely protected a good amount, but a vampire is still effected by the reflections and patterns of the suns rays. Sunlight can also seep through some fabrics, unless your clothes are enchanted by a witch to null any amounts of sunlight to penetrate through. Sunlight effects a vampires vision as well, so on a bright day, a vampire should wear protective sunglasses if it's necessary for them to go outdoors. Vampires will feel the effects of the suns rays heavily after about 2 hours of sunlight, without proper methods of shading and covering up their skin. The entire time a vampire is in sunlight, it feels like a crockpot heating up. Think of the suns effect on humans~! Dermatologists recommend sunblock even when you're not in direct sunlight because the sun's rays still makes it way through reflections and whatnot. SO WEAR SUNSCREEN EVERYONE.

Most might say that Dante is materialistic and a trend follower, but its just not true. He likes to look nice and be comfortable in what he wears despite the price tag it came with. He stands at six foot, two inches, with a muscular build. He has two tattoos both on his wrist and both are black. The one on his right wrist is a flower tattoo he got because of a bet he lost, and the left one is a feather. Dante enjoys wearing jewelry, like watches, necklaces, and piercings (both earlobe). There is always little things you can find in his out fits, whether it be in his hats, shirts, shoes, or even the backpack he has on.

Dante's style is random and sporadic but for some reason it always works. On a day to day basis he can be seen wearing designer print outfits - to a cotton hoodie and some jeans, always accompanied by his Jansport bag filled with drugs, water, lighters, his mix tapes (if he has one), wallet, and his phone. His head can either be seen styled up or covered by some kind of hat/beanie. When he is out working in some club or another he sticks to a simple joggers or jeans, t-shirt and a hoodie. In the feet department he likes his kicks to be fresh, Jordans, Nikes, the works but on a lazy day can been seen in some sandals.

When he is in a corner, flustered, nervous, or annoyed, he messes with his hair a lot. The more negative emotions cause him to pull and tug lightly, while being flustered or nervous he tends to run through multiple times to calm himself. He will also hair pull as a way to help him get through a long day, close friends and family know that sometimes (if its not shown otherwise) that this is a sign he has had a long day and is just trying to find his bed.

Date also likes to bite his lip. its not because of arousal but more so deep thought and when he is in pain. Its an unconscious action that he gets called out for on a daily but he still does it, something he picked up from his dead husband. It started with sec but grew into something more and soon became apart of him, whether he was doing drug math in his head or making sure he got everything on the grocery list, Dante would be caught biting one side (right or left) of his bottom lip.

When he holds his blunts it is usually with the thumb and index finger and not in between the index and middle finger. For some reason he just can't hold it as most cigarette smokers do because he feels like he is one of them. Even before his husbands death it was still something he could not do and it always felt weird when he tired.

Dante specializes in illusion magic and simulacrums. He uses special pouches filled with dust, the dust is a mixture of different plants that when mixed together have a different affect. The spells he uses when preparing the pouches along with the base ingredients can have many different effects. He can cause you to see your fears, nightmares, happiest hopes, make you think your experiencing great pain, etc. Dante cannot directly control what you see (what fears you have or what might make your character happy), he just simply uses his magic to manipulate what is already there and amplifies the image. His voodoo dolls are of high quality and when prepared correctly can have different effects. Some act as a totem and bring good or bad fortune to the focus of the simulacrum, while others directly control or affect them. Due to the nature of his spells is well versed in alchemy and potions.

Due to the power of his magic, both take extensive preparation and time. His illusions are literally in the size of those pouches you put wedding rings in, so he mostly carries 5 around at a time,
plus they don't always work. His intended target has to come ingest the powder inside and hear the words for the spell to work. The target can smell, drink, or ingest it but the magic words still have to be heard clearly in order for it to work, half hearing the spell means half ass illusion.

The simulacrums, or voodoo dolls, have to have specific ingredients. If your making one to enhance someones love life, you would need them to sacrifice something they love to the doll for it to take effect. For the more concrete dolls, Dante would require actual pieces of their body, you want to control an arm, I need bone, muscle tissue, fresh blood, from that part of the body to make it work. Full control voodoo dolls are hard to make and take time, plus if you don't have the popper materials or it won't work.

Dante is negative Nancy at heart, he is always look at he dark side first and expecting the worst so that he can be surprised when something good actually happens. He is friendly and never turns down the opportunity for companionship, but puts himself first in any situation. He takes care of himself first before worrying about the issues and problems of others. Most of the time will be the first to remind you of your faults, is it because he wants to push you to do better, or is he just an ass like that? Who knows, but above all else he is not one to hold his tongue and make you "feel good".

Dante can be seen as mean but and uninterested but he really is paying attention and makes sure to understand all side. He is a good listener and pays attention to those surrounding him. He is laid back above all else, not one to lose his temper or shed tears over the dead (anymore), most can be greeted with a lazy smile and words that (if in the right situation) cut like a burning knife. Dante is not some cold bastard, he is just the chill turtle who understands that your not always gonna beat the hare.

Dante's early life begins with his birth in New York and going to grades school there. His mother was a creole woman who was raised in New Orleans. She was the voodoo witch who taught him everything he knows and moved to New York to branch out on her own. Unbeknownst to her she would fall in love with Martin Anani, and soon after their year long relationship they would merry and start trying to have a family. Dante was born and he would be the only one his mother could carry. This only made him a spoiled child that grew up with his mothers love times ten. With all the love and joy of his childhood mixed with two strong parents, he was growing up to be a bright young man.

Things got rough for his family when he started middle school, his parents where arguing, his father was never home always away on long trips. Dante was his mothers best friend, so when she started to think that he might be cheating and was in great pain, Dante sneaked into his mothers library and found her spell book. He easily put her under a joy filled illusion and when she exited it hours later she was surprised he could do such strong magic with ease and began teach him everything about voodoo witches and magic. His learning period would be all through out middle school, and it was the only moments of he and his mother had that were filled with happiness and not the pain of betrayal. He was overjoyed to find out about his heritage and gifts (or at least one part of it), he was a sponge for knowledge and wanted to learn more and more so that he could hopefully find a way to help his mom.

One day after school, Dante came home fro school and found his house in ruin, and his two bloodied parents with scratches bruises and large open wounds sitting on what used to be their living room couch but was just springs and loose fabric. His father got up, and went into their destroyed bedroom packed a bag and hugged Dante and said saying "Goodbye." After the incident, Dante and his mom moved to Salem, Massachusetts to live with his grandmother (who was also a voodoo witch). His mom never spoke about what happened until he graduated, and would not answer any questions or inquiries, so Dante learned to just drop it.

He would start high school in Salem, trying to make new friends while finding his place in the towns already confusing dynamic, between the "normal" witches, vampires, werewolves, and hunters he had a lot to look out for, back in NY his mom shielded all of this stuff form him but now it was out in the open. Because of his sheltered upbringing he did not carry a planted hated for the "normies" (normal witches) like his grandmother had, and even though his mom said she was not judgmental she still turned he nose up at them when she got the chance.

Though he did it in secret, he fell in love with one, Marco Blackwell. Their relationship was only known by the boys' mothers and it stayed that way all throughout high school and college. They were both madly in love and even went to NYC for college after their high school graduation marriage. Everything was going well, until Marco's father found out about them and demanded they break up, and when they refused Dante's grandmother got involved (via Blackwell Seniors request). She worked his his father to do a spell that would kill their "love", and make one of them lose all feelings for the other. The spell worked and Marco filed for divorce soon after they graduated and immediately moved back to Salem. Dante on the other hand was the one left with the pain and feelings, his mother tried to warn him, but it was to late. Dante graduated with his degree, Bachelors in Plant Science, and went to work around the world.

He returned to Salem a year ago when the woman who ruined everything fell ill. His grandmother is due to die soon and he wants to be there when it happens. So he has been playing hide and go seek with Marco since he got back while praying day after day that the old woman finally kicks it. Dante's "love" was murdered in front of his eyes, so he came back to watch the grand author of its death get what she deserves.

When they both started to date, they were hiding big secrets. Dante's mother was a voodoo witch, and his father was from the famous Anani hunter family from Italy. They both hid things from each other, and it caught up to them in the worst way. Martin was given a job to kill Dante's grandmother (who he had met more than once) and brought it home to confront his wife. They decided to fight to the death and whichever one was left alive when Dante got home from school had the responsibility to take care of him, but by the time he was due home they had only succeeded in wounding each other and wrecking every room in their condo. So he spilled the beans about how his life was not a secret and her and Dante were his real "secret." He went on to confess that he had three other children, all older than Dante, who were hunter, and about how he was already married too. So they decided to split, she would take Dante back to Salem and he would go stay with his "real" family and only ever come back if he wanted to help his son.

Founder’s Day.

A day in which Salem, Massachusetts welcomes in all it’s citizens to the heart of the city for festivities, fun, and a fireworks show. Washington Square is the perfect area for pop-up shops, food trucks, and other booths for services. An area that lies in the middle of museums and sculptures that properly describe the history of Salem, be it supernatural suspicions or the pilgrimage, this area is shared, today, by all races and species that Salem houses. Despite all reasons in how Founder’s Day came to be, people loved the day off for an excuse to drink, party, and gather. For Ambrosia, it is a time to reminisce of past years and a time to scope out suspicious new supernaturals that may have lurked into the dark streets of Salem within the past year.

A mostly cloudy day with only few glimpses of sunlight to beam upon the lively city is the first thing any vampire would take note of prior to going out during daytime hours. Ambrosia, dressed in her usual, everyday style, sporting an open-shoulder, mid-length dress with tan heels to match. Though she kept the jewelry to a minimum, it is still clear that she is of the richer people. It was a long walk from the master bedroom of the dark, victorian mansion that housed many members of the coven, to the expensive vehicle in which Ambrosia would be chauffeured in. Greeted out front along the stone driveway by Mr. Edwards, a youthful individual that was almost as notably vampiric as Ambrosia herself, despite all signs of black magic within her, was all apart of a daily pattern. He routinely opened and closed the door for her before proceeding to drive her to whatever destination she was required to be present at, but today, it would be to the heart of the city.

Mr. Edwards, dressed to impress with his usual suit and tie, broke the silence during the car ride over,”You look very stunning today, Mrs. Sanguis.” His English accent is very prominent, though he’s lived in Salem for several decades now, he probably still sports it for character.

Ambrosia let out a soft smile as she looked to him,”Thank you, Mr. Edwards. You look very dashing yourself.” Although he gave a similar compliment everyday, the thought went very far and it was always heart-warming to start the day off with a compliment.

“You seem rather quiet today — is something troubling you?” He questioned with concern in his voice.

Although there was suspicion in the community for a coming evil, Ambrosia lied and brushed it off,”Just lost in thought, I guess. Thank you for your concern.”

With each passing business, statue, and sculpture, it would always stir up distant memories for Ambrosia. While normally not journeying into the heart of Salem to save for unnecessary social interactions and questions of her identity, well-being, and wealth, she figured that this day was better than any other to see what the people of Salem were up to. The car ride was rather long from backed up traffic to find parking, but the drive was a comfortable length to allow scattered thoughts to come together.

Ambrosia was dropped off along the curb of a not-so-busy area in order for her to gradually adjust to the heavy crowd of people that lurked up and down the streets. While she enjoys being by herself, she awaited for Mr. Edwards to find parking before being accompanied into the square. Ambrosia stood in a shaded area, fiddling with her enchanted ring in hopes that the daylight will be sparingly generous on her skin today. With each passing person, Ambrosia began to get in a mode of examination, properly eying those that would seem a bit off than the regular citizen of Salem — though these days, Salem had such a diverse range of peculiar citizens. Curious if anyone had sensed her presence yet, she felt no fear in thought of any form of aggressive event due to the public that seemed to cast a safe setting for any individual to face their rival.

Despite the comfortable setting, she still jumped when Mr. Edwards startled her by interlocking his arm with hers. He chuckled towards her before leading the way to one of the many entrances of Washington Square, but with each passing step, something seemed off.

It wasn’t until they made their first step within the grounds before the feeling of an uncomfortable sting raced into Ambrosia’s mind, causing her to feel her power weaken by a substantial amount. With a subdued wince, Ambrosia stopped in her tracks as many passed the two. Mr. Edwards spoke up in worry,”Is everything alright, Mrs. Sanguis?”

As Ambrosia looked around and took a short moment to gather herself and readjust to the sudden change in atmosphere, she turned to Mr. Edwards calmly,”Something isn't quite right here.” While taking time to analyze the feeling and the given situation, she pulled Mr. Edwards in another direction,”Come sit with me on this bench here.”

Mr. Edwards became worried of her suspicions,”What’s happening?”

”I’ve felt this feeling before,” Ambrosia explained, her eyes darting to each passing individual as well as anyone that would look their way, “I believe someone is trying to draw me out, or anyone of us for that matter."

“Of us?” Mr. Edwards echoed,”What do you mean?”

”Someone has placed a holy seal on these grounds.” Ambrosia had no clear suspect for whoever conjured this, but the feeling was apparent and incredibly obnoxious.

”You’re right, I did feel strange upon entering the grounds. Do you wish to leave, Mrs. Sanguis?” Mr. Edwards was the only person that was aware of Ambrosia’s condition when it came to her tainted well-being. Although all supernaturals will be effected by this holy sigil, Ambrosia experiences a much stronger effect instead of just a wiff of holiness in the air.

”No.” Ambrosia replied to him, ”That will create suspicion. I can endure this and make a casual leave to avoid any conflict that somebody may stir up, but we are also unaware of the motive behind this. This is Salem, after all, and many of the citizens are worried for their safety when it comes to supernatural horror stories. This could just be a scared citizen seeking peace of mind by creating a shield to fend off any possible dangers. So — we will wait and take this opportunity to see if any other individual has a similar reaction.”

It’s true that the longer you live, the more secrets you’ll acquire. For Ambrosia, she tries, yet struggles, to be an open book. Among her secrets, one of all should not be broadcasted or discovered. Ambrosia is a vampire reborn by black magic, thus, her re-gifted life of immortality and vampirism must be repaid. Each full moon, Ambrosia must provide a sacrifice of blood, be it by human, witch, werewolf, etc., and the subject must be living and present during the event of the offering. Depending on the victim, would depend on the survivability: humans never survive, witches and vampires have low chances of survival, and werewolves always survive. If there is no sacrifice at hand, Ambrosia must use herself and withstand a gruesome night of draining blood, only to wake up weakened, but she will always survive.

To add to this, Ambrosia holds a corridor that contains several human subjects in which her coven feeds from, her targets being those that roam the streets too late at night, and those that have the least connections around Salem. Though it’s hard to grab sufficient subjects that fit these standards, but she will always go to great extremes to make sure that her coven is properly fed. After housing a human for as much time as she can, she releases them just before their death, though with a method of making them suffer from memory-loss.

Being someone that acts as a motherly figure, she surprisingly shows a great amount of distrust and inconsideration to those that have no real relation to her, and to those that aren’t vampires. Her coven is what she cares about, and nothing more. In addition to this, Ambrosia has a habit of accepting new vampires into her coven in an attempt to save them from the rabid nature that will get them killed, or expose the community.

Ambrosia is strategic in nature, causing her to constantly rethink decisions and actions, and to plan ahead whether it’s something important or completely arbitrary. This goes along the lines of her manipulative trait, being an individual that manipulates others into doing what she wishes. With the added talent of compelling, Ambrosia has a habit of manipulating people into doing what she wants.

In what circumstances does the life of a vampire truly begin? Yes, of course — dressed in blood in a room full of blood. For Ambrosia, this involved such a cliche moment of lust and love, but what better way to give your life to someone besides marriage? Prior to this life-changing event, who was Ambrosia and what came of her?

An aspiring dancer with outstanding talent in ballet, a star pupil at the Boston Conservatory to properly exercise her skill and express it to the world was known as Ambrosia Pierre. With absent parents, a broken family, and a life pressured by the everyday struggles of a ballet dancer and a growing colleague, she found happiness in what she did best. To turn this hobby into a career was expensive, and risky, but Ambrosia was confident in her ability to perform, so she left to the conservatory after she was graciously accepted. There was nothing but growth, improvement, and rewarding performances that she landed lead roles in. Everything was going better than expected, but when would her life make a turn for the worst? If one would consider living as a vampire as worse.

It wasn’t long within the treasured success that Ambrosia would meet her vampiric lover. John Sanguis — an alluring, attractive man that didn’t need to compel any woman to get them to follow him to his bedroom, regardless of how creepily dark his room was. It was at a show in which John fell head over heels in love as her beauty flashed stronger and stronger with every spin, twirl and jump on a stage full of flowers. For Ambrosia, her life of success nearly outweighed her attraction to John, and he loved the chase. It seemed as if it were a normal relationship, despite his presence only being noted on cloudy days, or at night, and the mild scent of blood that he brought everywhere. After months of rejection, she finally gave in to the love that she strongly resisted. Many more months followed of spontaneous trips, nights of love and fine dining, and being a truly spoiled girlfriend, but a vampire can never hide their true identity forever.

Slowly, Ambrosia faded from the life of a dancer and began to devote nearly all her time into John, feeling no need to worry since he had riches upon riches. With beautiful mansions, not just within Salem, Massachusetts, but almost everywhere, she felt comfort with finances. The suspicions became more and more fitting the more Ambrosia got to know John, and thus, the question finally came up. More-so brought up as a joke than anything, the truth was eventually told, but in such a better manner than being found feeding. John poured his heart out to Ambrosia and begged her not to leave, but she had no intentions of doing so, instead turning around to ask to make their love permanent through marriage. John had other motives in mind since she suggested marriage, though she denied living as a vampire at first.

At this moment in time, Ambrosia ran through the many questions any growing adult would ask: am I doing the right thing, is this what I want, what will my parents think? Casting aside all worries and remembering that she feels safest within his arms, she naively accepted his offer and suffered the transformation, but out of love and lust for a man that she would willingly spend the rest of eternity with. After her transformation, she began to enjoy the life of a vampire, though she had a rough time passing the rabid phase. They lived as such a fierce duo, training her to be as capable as possible, and teaching her about the supernatural world and how to defend against hunters.

Ambrosia began to learn more about John, a vampire that lived much longer than expected. A pilgrim that journeyed to the new world and never found a love as a strong as he had for Ambrosia. John was a leader of a coven of vampires within Salem, teaching Ambrosia the many duties that he had to keep the coven prospering. This new lifestyle came fast to Ambrosia, but she learned it all efficiently in a timely fashion. She filled the shoes of the very desirable role of the mistress to John Sanguis, a well-respected vampire by the coven and many other supernaturals.

Supernaturals had a habit of stirring up drama which lead to destructive battles by misunderstandings, hyperboles, and boredom. During a harsh fight between John’s coven and an opposing vampiric coven, Ambrosia was unexpectedly stabbed in the heart by a stake which lead to a crucial death of the coven. John, horrified by the event, brought her back to the mansion and fled the scene immediately, keeping her body within his corridors until he could properly find any way to fix this devastating event. It took many days of trial and error before he found a witch capable of performing black magic to properly bring her back to life.

The witch performed a ritual to call upon the devil to make a pact with John to exchange services. A life with consistent offerings on every full moon in exchange of granting Ambrosia her vampiric life back. John agreed passionately, thinking of it as nothing in order to get Ambrosia back to life.

Ambrosia was unaware of what pact he made, living on as if nothing happened. It wasn’t until John’s anger got the best of him and he went out to seek revenge for his changed lifestyle. It's true what they say about love and what it can do to a man, or in this case, a vampire. Journeying alone to the opposing coven that housed the killer in search of a vengeful kill that would fulfill his needs and bring his peace back. Making such a rash decision lead to an unfair battle of pain, torture, and eventually death. His head was rolled out to the steps of John's Coven, only to be found by his now widowed lover.

Ambrosia, seeming to be in a constant panic from the petrifying event, could not find any peace. She couped herself up only to be faced with the devil who explained her situation and demanded for Ambrosia to properly fulfill the payment in order for her survival. That was her first night in which her blood was drawn for the sacrifice, waking up exhausted and fatigued, but surprisingly anew. Ambrosia saw this second chance of life as a blessing -- as a purpose. Though she had thoughts of suicide, it was with a vengeful heart and a protective mindset that brought Ambrosia to who she is today. She accepted herself as a widow, a reborn vampire, and a leader. She was announced the new leader of the coven, and she willingly gave sacrifices every full moon to ensure her survival. What motivates her now is to help her coven as best she can with the loss of John, and to find revenge for killing her true love.

And so became Ambrosia Sanguis.

While I'm a huge fan of having powerful characters and really being creative with abilities and whatnot, please don't make your character super overly strong. Auto-hitting also falls under these guidelines; please never assume the outcome of your attacks when interacting with other PCS.

Please, please, please be creative with your characters~! For this RP, I'm giving people free reign to a broad spectrum of possible characters. This is a supernatural, realistic themed roleplay so most characters must be within the supernatural realm. Please make sure that your characters are realistic, interesting and give them flaws. I also want to see well thought out characters whether you're playing a Witch, Vampire, Werewolf, Hunter or whatever. I will allow you to play up to two characters, as well.

I definitely want to see a good amount of effort and thought in your characters. Please don't half-ass your character sheets and pull a character out of your ass. Pictures must be realistic but please, make sure your image or gif is realistic and not anime or an illustration of some sort. Is this really a supernatural roleplay if there's no 18+ content? Like fo real? I'm not opposed to excessive swearing if that's how your character is, nor am I opposed to nudity. But I am opposed to ERP and descriptive sexual encounters. If you wish to do that with another PC, then just take it to the PMs or something. I don't want to limit your characters just for the sake of the rating of the RP, but there are lines that shouldn't be crossed.

I strongly encourage in-character drama, but don't be sensitive and take it to OOC drama, nor do I want to see any form of OOC drama. If you wish to give someone a piece of your mind, simply do it in the PMs and don't involve other people of the roleplay.
