And expect Leblanc to try and muster the will not to lecture Regina on concepts like exposing concealed allies to enemies, the illogical idea of screaming orders at unidentified vassal users from a distance over the sound of a screaming monster, and why people do not close into melee with an enemy that is also being bombarded at range due to that most tragic of death's occurring from ignoble friendly fire. Should be fun when they start demanding the other gets court martialed..

P.S. KoL advised me there is indeed a building. My bad, conflicting wavelengths in that regard.
@Bushman501

I do believe I made a point of mentioning the buildings there were squat and not the sort to topple over. Also with the monster being outside and all, I don't see where you get the idea of dropping a building on her.

Leblanc will be posting tomorrow. Expect stabbings to ensue.
@floodtalon

Yup, looks good to me.
Man, I don't think I've ever been in quite so... volatile an rp. Everyone's arguing with one another about all kinds of things.

Khaine could probably counter Victoire's roses, considering he's a fairly solid teleporter with the stone, and has access to several AOE heat abilities that could stop their growth. As well as being able to remove their power source in the form of munchable mooks. That's just based on my knowledge of his powers, but I'm sure plenty of other characters could do the same.

From what I've noticed, KoL is a power-gamer. Someone who's interested in the supernatural abilities of characters, and using those abilities to their fullest potential. As such their characters are not only quite powerful, but also able to use each of their individual powers to far greater effect than most others. With a little optimisation a character like Henry or even Fran could be set up as a solid challenge for Victoire, if you were to set them up with the right gear and get them to use their powers properly.

Although I do think KoL should perhaps be a bit less harsh on people not being able to keep up.

Meh, these are just my two cents. My character isn't even in this fight ^_^

Heh, you hit the nail on the head with that assessment, though do remember this is for all it's quirks and kinks, a PvP RP. Conflict breeds conflict, even in the best of cohorts.
@Lucius Cypher

Hush you. Your sardonic humor is horribly timed.

@BCTheEntity

The issue here stems from myself and Windel advising KoL to end the conversation. You had been here long enough to see Victoire is a touchy subject and one that has succeeded in driving KoL from being an active participant in the battle, so when everyone insists on persisting in questioning the barest minutia of her skillset in the hopes of stealing out a victory in her final battle, I find it perfectly reasonable KoL reacts with flared temper as she's already surrendered the war and now you want her to give up on even a Pyrrhic victory to go out on.

While I do find you, and Silvan in conjunction, can open interesting lines of inquiry, there seems to be a predilection to prodding a sleeping bear that is exacerbating to watch from an outsider perspective. If you are adamant in leaving then I wish you well, otherwise I do hope you consider things when you are less heated.
I mean, it's not particularly surprising that you don't have to add things to your bio, seeing you have the ability to come up with whatever spell you want as long as it's thematically appropriate once per battle. And most single categories of Victoire's abilities are more expansive than other character's entire power lists. Most people who manipulate an element have 3-4 things they can do with it, you have 3-5 elements you can do everything with. For example, in your succubus power list, if you used your shapeshifting to give yourself a physical boost, you would literally have Fran's entire power list minus equipment, and then a whole bunch of powers on top. Just Victore's Succubus nature, if given Fran's equipment, would be stronger than Fran on every metric.

If you are trying to debate a point that because KoL is thorough with listing all possible connontations of her powers, as opposed to just saying Blood Magic, Shadow Magic, etc., that it is a bad thing as opposed to some one who just says they control Fire magic and then try to leach the heat from all living things because in their mind Fire is tangentially related enough for that to work?

Please, just no.

@BCTheEntity@KoL@Silvan Haven

Civil. Remain Civil.

This discussion should be taken as hypothetical discourse for sake of sating curiosity, nothing more. Victoire is going to be an NPC after this battle so I don't see the point in making the discussions any more emotional then that.

Why do I get the feeling this is something heating up if it's spilled from Discord to OOC?

You're fine, just keep it civil -_-
@Bushman501

My grandfather the Gettysburg Tour Guide would be disappointed if I didn't say yes, that kind of tech would exist :3
@Bushman501

Well the Scouts certainly didn't bring any of that, considering Regina is the only one who uses ballistics and even she has a Vassal for it, so carrying gunpowder is a rather low priority when trekking through the wilderness. The dead marauders may have stood a better chance in possessing it considering they had far more gunners, but this wasn't so much an established base of operations as it was a temporary encampment of convenience while they plotted against the cadets. Perhaps they had more then just the munitions carried with them, though with the corpses shredded to giblets and no time to scout the interior of the structures before hand, you'd have to actively go looking in the vain hope of finding a few powder horns or somesuch.

Really, this kind of spontaneous Boss engagement isn't the best for traps, though think of it like this; Regina can always point back to this instance as to why they should always stock up on explosives in the future.
