I've got some pending interest. Before I get to work on something though, I wanted to ask your stance on anime face claims vs real-life ones. There's a thin line dividing the two that I'm abnormally passionate about, so I don't want to do something with one only to get hit with "use the other pls" and be like "I can't do that".
I would prefer to avoid all anime face claims, I find they don't accurately represent the tone and genre I am aiming to replicate.

I think the more flexible definition of "superhuman" will make this a good fit. Considering some kind of alien or other movie monster.
That's my hope as well. Wanted to try a game with a bit more freedom than usual.

It's like, rpers didn't want to use the old cliche powers so they gravitated towards a new set of cliche powers. That's why you rarely see anybody with flight, but every superpower rp has at least one fucker with darkness manipulation.
Darkness manipulation never makes sense to me. You're manipulating the absence of light, so you're actually a light manipulator.
This does admittedly look good and I have characters I'd like to try out. Some I haven't used in a long time. As much fun as it'd be to retool an older version/offspring of one of my BNHA characters to fit this setting, there's a character with super strength who I haven't used in a very long time who'd be a good fit.
It would honestly be refreshing to see a character with super strength. Not too many people play the 'classic' powers in these games I find.

I had no idea that my post was 99 until yesterday and then I got mad that I could have waited and finally taken the 100 spot.

Nope, not particularly. I had originally grabbed my template from another RP that I set in a high school which is why the age limit had originally been there but for this one there's no real specific age range that I'm looking for. I'll likely be playing a mid-twenties bartender.
