Reluctantly retired roleplayer.

Except when I'm not.

Why are you here when you should be writing posts?

You can edit a bad draft, but you cannot edit a blank page.

Yeah.

Fun times avoided.

Though not really as at the beginning she'll be untrained and unaware of what exactly is happening to her due to be 'Activated' but never having had someone to tell her who or what she was.
@NinaDivine well that's a relief because Ellara would have tried to kill her.
First time back in a while. Very interested. Any guidelines on the power level we should be shooting for?

That's a bit hard to say, in the Discord earlier, I gave an upper limit for super strength as lifting a car above one's head if that helps. If you're familiar with the Marvel's Netflix offerings, I would say Luke Cage is sort pushing the maximum tier but it's hard to put down a consistent cap across the board due in part to the way different powers and abilities work.
I've got three ideas. Not sure which I'll go with, and may depend on seeing a few other CS's before I make a decision.

1) My first idea involves a (mostly) reformed villain with an origin somewhat similar to Captain America with antagonists that could include heroes and villains... and possibly zombie Nazis.

2) Second idea is more of a supernatural type character. Waiting to see what @Lord Wraith is doing with his at the moment.

3) Third would be a more classic type teen hero greatly inspired by Spider-Man.

My WIP should provide a fairly solid idea of what I'm doing.
@All Interested Parties: The OOC will come as soon as I finish my character sheet. I don't want to launch the OOC without having my sheet done to point to as an example for those that need one.
I mean specifically because it was too long for an interest check. I'm very careful about posting in the right places. Ever since the... event...

Too long for an interest check?

What even?
I feel singled out then... last time I did an interview check I got told it needed to be moved...

Sounds like you posted it in the wrong section then.
Hey, quick question. I've decided on a single character concept that I want to roll with. However, I don't want to spoil it yet. However, I want to ask you something.

I plan for a lot of the character's limitations and weaknesses to be revealed and developed over the course of the narrative and I don't want to reveal it all in the CS. Is it possible to do that?

So I've been thinking on this and in lieu of granting a specialized format, I'm going to ask that you put all currently applicable weaknesses and limitations on the CS and then as developments happen in the IC, update your CS to reflect them.

Let me think about it because I don't want to open the can of worms where it becomes the norm because I allowed one person to do it.
Gonna go ahead and drop interest. How's a mirror-walking, part-time thief sound?

Long time no see! Concept sounds solid to me.

I can understand it, it expresses interest and compliments the creator, but also makes it clear that they won't be joining us.

This is getting almost unreasonably large for just an interest check. I would reccomend putting together an OOC for everyone to gather in before the mods take notice.

I don't know what experiences you've had, but there's no rule on the Guild that states how long or active an interest check can be. The mods would only step in there was a mass disagreement or other such negative situation.
