Why are you here when you should be writing posts?

You can edit a bad draft, but you cannot edit a blank page.

Nope, too late.

I am adding another redhead to my collection.

I wasn't saying that Jean wasn't around. She's in his allies. She's just not a love interest for Scott.

So you're saying there's an available redhead out there?

Fixed it for ya pal.

Accurate.
Happy Fortress of Solitude Friday to those who celebrate.

Did you want closure to the Kal-El issue? Too bad! You get romance instead!

It's even rarer someone here accepts a compliment.

Looking at you for no reason @Roman

Wait, the point is to accept them?

Not deflect and self-depricate?
<Snipped quote by mattmanganon>

Not sure what that is but it sounds like a compliment

Those are rare in these parts.

Huh, didn't know about this piece of lore.

I'd kinda assumed Telepathy was linked to magic and so were both weaknesses for Superman.

I honestly have never viewed telepath as being in the magic pile. Especially with how frequently it shows up as either a racial trait (Atlanteans, Martians, etc) or a mutant/metahuman power.

Now whether or not this is part of main canon, I haven't fact checked. Superman has been able to use a telepathic link for communication before, but on Smallville which is obviously a heavy influence, Clark's thoughts were safe from telepaths.

In J'onn's defense, he did study to be a psychologist before the whole 'getting captured and mentally broken to obey by his government' thing. So it's not like he's just an average telepath.

I don't really see it as a 'skill issue's per say so much as that's the Kryptonian bio field provides a form of constant interference preventing any and all telepaths from getting in their noggins.

The trials of writing.

If you need help, J'onn or one of the other Martians would know something about de-programming a person's mind. Or I'm sure @King Kindred wouldn't mind having Thor shock Kal-El out of his programming, nor would @mattmanganon mind having Captain Marvel punch Kal hard enough to keep with how Captain Marvel always punches Clark once as payback for how DC sued Fawcett over Captain Marvel as 'too similar to Superman' and so caused Fawcett to go out of business and end up being bought by DC.

J'onn was an idea I had originally, but then that opens Kal up to being vulnerable to telepathy and so I didn't want to go that route either.
