Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Keratia as a whole? No, but some countries celebrate something thematically similar. In the Valerie Circle in honor Greenford during the events of the Twin Suns they celebrate Saint Kharnor's Day, which has the towns folk dress up as various types of undead while decorating their homes with symbols of claymores, detailed magic runes, and bagpipes, while the children dress up as various adventuring archetypes as they "defend" the town from the undead and receive "loot" in the form of sweets and other gifts for children.

The Kingdom of Bray celebrate a different sort of holiday called the Wolf Harvest, which is more of a harvest festival with a wolf theme. As the Kingdom of Bray had a werewolf problem for a long time, children would dress up as wolves and try to "steal" treats and snacks left out for them, while other children (Typically ones who have to stay home) would try to defend their homes from these wolves in a game that's basically tag. It can get pretty competitive to the point that it's not unusual for young adults to play.

Both the Trasis Republic and Doros share a sea based Holiday called Howling Night where mostly adults sail to the ocean with no form of illumination and dive into the ocean during a certain time of the year. They do this due to a rare breed of shellfish that would be reaching maturity at this year. These shellfish reach their full maturity when exposed to light (typically sunlight), but if harvested right before this moment they would have very delicious meat that sell for a very good price. Their shells also make for unique instruments, hence why it's called the Howling Night, as the sea breeze alone can cause these shells to emanate a rather haunting melody that can scare more weak willed sailors.
If no one directly asked, he doesn't really explain. At most he'd tell you that Fishbones isn't his surname, that's more of a nickname he's gain for his penchant for eating fish bones. Searock is also not really part of his official name, though this one he does say his family gave him because of his affinity towards seafaring over mountaineering. Kulee at least is his actual given name, but what his family name and his clans is, he has not openly divulged.
"Ah, not really? I mean, I'm mostly just gunna follow yer lead an such. But fer places ta stay, I know a nice pub dat the captain and da others like ta use when dey in town. It's called da Honey Bee Inn, can't miss it. Got a big flying bee over it. Got great mead an good rooms." Sticky said as he adjusted his gear. He put his hand to his mouth and thought deeply about the other things you were asking for and tried to help as best as he could. "As fer healing... I guess the temples? Dey the only ones I know who got healing magics. As fer work, assumin ye don't wanna just work on a boat again, I know da Empire has an active Bounty Hunting service sorta thing. Dat's why we kept da heads of dem fishy folks who attacked the boats, since da government is payin anyone who thins em out. Usually find stuff bout dat at inns and wot not, but da quickest would be da head office way up top." Sticky points towards a rather imposing stone citadel that looked much darker and grim to the lights and attraction of the dockside city. "Dat's probs where da others are headin ta get dere coins fer the bounties, an it'll also be the quickest place ta learn wot bounties are were. Might get some work in da city, or maybe outside of it. Depends really."

All the while Caeda was looking around from your bag with awe and excitement. She was practically jumping with giddiness, completely forgetting about her own injuries to take in the new sights and sounds. Street hawkers called out to you and Sticky selling their wares and services, offering such things as good luck charms, magic items to improve your personal lives, or even weapons of actual practical value. Sticky did his best to ignore these things, though when a few lovely looking ladies approached him for his time, he tried his best not to let them slow him down as he tried to keep pace with you. "So uh... Yeah! Maybe we outta hit up da Honey Bee Inn first?"
Many that took way to long for how little I wrote. I hope I didn't lose you. Just been in a bit of an RP slump, but with any luck we'll get right back into the swing of things.
"Hmm. I suppose that depends on what you're looking for." Tuscon says as he goes to pick out some books. "I know recently many ladies are interested in foreign romance novels such as Flotilla Fanyare, a book series about dashing swashbuckling sailors and the ladies in which they aim to impress. A Doros book so it's quite informative, though admittedly unless you already have a mind for the politics and economics, it can be droll." The book looked a bit old, but you could still make out the title inscribed onto the leather bound book. It's cover depict a ship over a rising sun.

"If you're looking for something simpler, there's always tales of the Goblin Slayer. Very popular with young men and even older ones. It tells tales of a lone warrior on his crusade against goblins and their ilk. If you're the adventuring type many of the warrior's exploits are said to be very practical." This book looked fairly new but also rather thin. You could guess there was only maybe a hundred pages at most.

"And finally a personal favorite of mines, it's historical fiction but I like to think there's some grain of truth in it. The Night Sun, a compilation of various stories from Greenford when the city was attacked by an undead horde. It's a truly inspiring book about the fears and struggles of thousands of people against an organized army of undead soldiers, as well as the courage that saved them all." This book was well kept. Though you could easily tell it's been read a lot it would seem that this bookkeeper made sure to take care of it.

"All of them in Southern Basic of course, though I do have a few books in original Elven and Dwarven if they interest you."

Donny was fiddling with his hands, or at least a few of them which he created. Standing around like this made him anxious. He would normally play on his phone to calm his nerves but he knew that he would get into trouble if Mako saw him on his phone right now so all he could do was wait. More students joined after they finished changing but Donny was just a bit too busy going over all the possibilities of what they're about to do. Off the top of his head the first scenario that came to mind was heroes chasing the villain: The villains had to try and keep away from the hero team for as long as Mako said so. In this scenario Donny might do okay, since this was something he was familiar with. It was basically just tag but with more at stake. Alternatively, the hero team might have to escort something important from Point A to Point B, while the villains need to try and take it from the heroes. That was also possible and something Donny was much less confident about.

Most of all Donny was nervous about fighting. Sure, he's wrestled and play fight before as kids, but he's never really gotten into an actual brawl. Even the rowdier kids at his old school were kept under strict watch and most didn't bother Donny, since he was always quick to slip away. Though it's also not as if Donny has never considered fighting or using his abilities offensively. Due to lacking any form of human anatomy, a lot of Donny's fighting techniques come from one source in which he's had many years of practice: Video Games and Anime. He intentionally seeks out such mediums that had slime based characters and try and learn from them, though obviously not all slimes are built the same. Still it would give Donny some idea of what to do if it comes down to a fight... Despite his complete lack of experience in it.

When Junko started speaking to him Donny jiggled in surprise. He wasn't paying attention to her at all and didn't expect anyone to approach him. "Uwa!? Uh y-y-yeah! So weird, right?" Donny stammered out. He didn't want to say that. He was part of the hero class because he wants to be a hero, so calling it weird that he was part of the hero team just made it sound like he was second guessing himself. Soon Alice came over and Donny felt a bit calmer. She was a nice person so Donny didn't feel quite as strange around Alice and he knew she was quite capable in her own way. "Hello Nova-San. Let's uh, let's do our best yeah?"

If anything, Donny was more worried about their opponents. Off the bat he looked over at Acion and Dulga. Alice was the only one in the group that could really deal with Acion in the air. Kouji wasn't someone Donny could just write off either; even if he can't use his wind powers very much they're still pretty useful and there's no telling just what Kouji's limits is. At best, Donny would have to weather his attacks until he exhausts himself but Donny wasn't positive if that's something he could or should do. There was also Carol who... Donny frankly didn't find all that threatening, but then again maybe he also just didn't know what she was fully capable of. Sure her little light show yesterday wasn't exactly anything bombastic but maybe she was just holding back, or the circumstances just weren't good to show off her full powers. Donny himself would've preferred if they had done their demonstrations say, here, where he could show off his real talents.

Which actually reminded Donny that he should let his team know what he's good at. While he doesn't know what Mako has planned for them, surely someone in their team can think of something on the fly. "S-So I didn't really uh... Show this yesterday very well but since we're here and all um..." Donny spoke quietly, trying to make sure only Alice and Junko could hear. "I'm not all that good in a fight. But I'm good at eating stuff. Like real fast. Even dirt and rocks. So maybe like... W-We could tunnel or something? I mean, they might expect Nova-san to come flying in, but I doubt they'll think we'll pop out from the ground, yeah?" He looked to the two girls to see how they would feel about this tactic. Donny didn't think about it until right this moment, but they might not be quite as comfortable being in a cramp, dark hole in the ground as Donny is.

Twenty comfortably, thirty if you're willing to reconvert the current prison quarters into a crew quarter.
While it depends on the ship, technically speaking one man could crew the Kraken. He'll just have to constantly be moving, adjusting, and praying that the weather doesn't fuck him over. But more people means that if something does go wrong you can rely on them to fix it while you do your own job.

I might've not been very specific, but during your crew's travel they're pretty much always busy. The only person who gets to rest is the captain and maybe whoever is assigned to the night crew, which mainly consist of Hurrik, Nyx, and whoever you or Tayang assigns for the Night Shift. Which is a standard rotation (2 hour watch, six hour sleep) anyways. A day that could be considered "smooth sailing" means that the crew can eat some of their rations while they work, but they will still be working. Hence why the crew enjoys shore leave when they can.

In short: One man at the minimum to make the ship go anywhere. Two if you want to make sure they go anywhere for longer than a few days.

The first day of school wasn’t too bad. Though Donny wasn’t a fan of all of the homework they gave him, he did his best to do them before going to bed. The important thing was that it was done after all, and anything he didn’t understand he was certain he could figure out eventually. That night he had dinner with his grandfather, eating a somewhat fancy bowl of instant noodles with ramen eggs and fresh nori. He was rather excited and thought that his first day of school went pretty well for him.

The second day however was a drag. Most of Donny’s classes were rather boring lessons that nearly made him fall asleep and on top of that more homework. So much so that Donny seriously considered trying to get some of it done during lunch so he wouldn’t have to spend all night on it, but ultimately Donny simply ate his lunch and played with his cellphone instead. ”Ugh what a slog. Education’s important and all but you’d think they’d make learning more interesting in this day and age…”

Eventually Donny would reach his final class, Hero Course. Already fairly beaten down by the earlier classes Donny figured they would go back into boring stuff again, like the history of heroism or laws and such. Things that ordinarily may interest Donny but at this moment he just wanted to take a nap and eat some somen. However what surprised Donny was that Mako was going to put them straight into a practical exercise. Heroes vs Villains, though Donny wasn’t sure what exactly that entails. Did they have to chase down the villains? Protect an objective? Both? Additionally Donny was chosen to be on the hero team. While part of him was eager another part of him was worried. He’s never really done anything remotely heroic and a lot of people on the villain teams are really tough!

Donny was too nervous to really ask any questions and simply went to the lockers to change. Or rather, offload all the food he had stored inside of his body. Today he had brought chips and a thermos of barley tea. Neither which he figured would be of much use, so he stashed that away. He also put his wallet away in his locker and was considering putting his phone away too. However he decided to keep it: perhaps he could make use of the flashlight or something. As for his gym uniform, once more he simply took off his school uniform, folded it, and headed to the training ground. “Oh boy oh boy oh boy…”
As you unleashed your fury against the decapitated orc, the rest of your crew were quick to avoid your anger and went to work. The slaves were released, most of them only interested in freedom. They assisted your crew in plundering the ship's stores though it was mostly spare weapons, materials to maintain the ship, and a rather meager supply of rations. Enough for the orcs but hardly any for the slaves. It took about half an hour before the plunder was gathered and both ships were heading towards Red Shard, avoiding the storm. You could make out the vague barkings of Tayang as he ordered the men to ready themselves to deal with the storm and you'd feel your ship shaking as the waves grew harsher and violent. Fortunately however this was as worse as it got as your crew was able to expertly navigate away from the storm and would make it to calmer waters.

After almost an hour since you left there's a knock on your door. "Captain. Iron Guts reporting in." Once allowed inside Tayang would give you a brief rundown of the plunder, a status update on the crew, as well as the estimate time to Red Shard. "56 gold, 130 silver coins, and 301 copper coins, three units of dried fish, four units of salt, six pounds of assorted silver holy symbols, a crate of books, three gallons of holy water, and four units of sailing canvas is all we managed to grab from the hamlet. From the orcs we've grabbed twelve usable greataxes, a set of Chainmail, ten units of wood, three units of dried meats and hardtack, and the entirety of the orc's warship. We've already covered up it's emblem and the slaves are operating it right now. Three dwarves, six gnomes, four halflings. All of them from the Majadan, sold by slavers to the orcs. Most don't have any skills beyond labor but they're eager to live a new life in Red Shard." Tayang looked directly in your eyes.

"Now, as the captain I figured I ought to let you know that while Doros outlaws slavery within it's borders, they've also no obligation to liberate any slaves that reach it. And with Red Shard being on the fringe of the law as it is, tis still viable for you to return them to Silvermane for some compensation. Additionally the orc's ship is still in usable condition. It lacks anything in the way of storage space even compared to the Kraken, but it's fast and sturdy. Ships like these are designed to ram into other ships and scuttle em before their warriors go for the boarding. Of course like anything orc made, it's cheap, so we're looking at maybe two thousand gold if we sell it to Silvermane. And finally, at our pace we'll reach Red Shard by early morning, before the sunrise. Storm's still next us but it seems to be moving north so we won't have to worry about it so long as we stay our course."
