Current To those I RP with, I haven't dropped off of the face of the earth, just had a mental health crash but am recovering. Now to catch up on posting.

The worst thing about mental illness is you have to look after yourself a disgusting amount. I know it's the only way to actually be in a fit state to look out for others, but it still feels wrong.

Emeth: Then I'll be that friend who's the opposite kind of annoying, whispering "Do it, you know you want to..."

Judging by the Internet's definitions of introversion and extraversion, you'd think everyone's either an extreme hermit or a party animal with no in between.

Bio

A frazzled British thirtysomething cat mum with something of a tea addiction.

I like a wide range of RP genres, but have two absolute favourites: Pokemon and magical girls. (If someone manages to combine the two, I'll be VERY happy!) I post fairly regularly, but sometimes shit mental health days crop up - if that causes any delays, I'll try to resume posting ASAP.

@Zarkun Probably best to mention it in individual posts, so we've got our character's reasons for going their separate ways.

@Balthazar007 Ok, two things:

1) Another consistency question. Locations don't have missions any more, only Special Interest organisations do. I'm just wondering how to work in stuff that's already happened - Tommy and Cici are about to claim rewards for a Tefan Village mission, Jason is in the middle of a mission connected to his organisation, and Florence's current plot kicked off from a Feyhollow mission that took a turn for the worse. It could be semi-explained by the fact that Cici's in the Helping Hand Guild, but then again, Tommy isn't in an organisation yet. Aether Foundation and Legendwatch might also be Special Interest groups, simply because they don't fit the other categories, which might make things more consistent. That brings up another issue, though...

2) There's only one headquarters in Central, but several organisations there, and those headquarters have already been written about in the old thread. What should we do about this?
@Balthazar007 Yep, fixed up the mart.

Just a question about consistency. In the old thread, a few characters had items that aren't currently in the registry (Ella has Black Sludge, Leisy has Soft Sand, etc). Also, type-boosting items now seem to be Expert items, but some Skilled trainers already have them. That and there have been quite a few mentions of berries, at least the basic, low-level healing and status curing ones.

Would it be possible to have all those basic berries in the registry (not the rarer ones, the supereffective damage reducing ones and the like could come later), as well as a few more type-boosting items, with the rank restriction lowered to Skilled? Maybe the price could go up to offset this.

Anyway, I'll try to move more stuff over today and get a post up soon.
@fer1323 Another request done:

Jessamyn "Jess" Bailey

"Ehh..." No sooner had Jess let her nervousness show, she knew she was proving Roc right about her. Just like Roxy, the man exuded doubt. The empath took a quick glance in Roxy's direction to make sure she hadn't offended her further.

Once she'd scribbled down the name, she began sorting through another mountain of papers. "Ah, got it... I think," she said, pulling out a note with prices and numbers jotted all over it. "This won't... uh, this shouldn't take a moment..." She started up the computer, the till system appearing on the screen. Jess stared. If only Roxy had taken the time to give her proper training. Still, the empath knew she should be grateful for everything Roxy had given her.

Aware that with each passing second, she was keeping Roc waiting, Jess set to work figuring out the system and typing in numbers.
@Balthazar007 Just made changes to Feyhollow Poke Mart, is that better?
@Balthazar007 Yep, Aether Foundation fits Florence pretty much perfectly, so I'd like her to stay part of that. If other people want to join, we'll figure out a way to make it possible.

Just brought Feyhollow over, hope everything's ok. Will try to add the other stuff tomorrow, when I've had some sleep.
New Location!!!

Name: Feyhollow Town
Location Type: Mostly Rural
Pokemon Types: Fairy, Rock, Ground, Grass, Poison, Normal, Flying, Bug

Lore:
In the heart of an overgrown forest, south of Central, is a quaint little town. Its peaceful atmosphere and the wild yet beautiful feel to the place draw people in, as do the many stories and legends.

In the late hours, the sound of singing carries on the night breeze. Venture far enough past the gnarled trees and tangles of flowering vines, and the dances of Fairy-types in the clearings can be seen. Moss-covered caves fill the forest, glowing softly with fungi as if to entice people inside. These caves are where many of the Fairy Pokemon can be found.

A widely-told story is that of one particular fairy, Diancie. Some people report catching a glimpse of the diamond Pokemon, and a few deliberately seek it out in the hope of wealth from the gemstones it is said to produce. Although many have explored the woods and the caves, though, this rumour has never been confirmed.

Another legend is that of the forest's origin. It is said to have been created by the legendary Pokemon Xerneas, as a home for the fairies. According to the story, Xerneas, exhausted by its efforts, transformed into a tree. Now, it is believed to have awakened from its long slumber, as a few inhabitants of the town claim to have seen it. As with Diancie, its presence has not been proven.

Enchanting as the place is - for that very reason, in fact - the wilderness surrounding Feyhollow is to be explored with a sense of caution, or so the town's inhabitants warn. There are rumours of people becoming so caught up in the fairies' songs and dances that they never return, or come back changed in some way. After all, these innocent-seeming Pokemon are some of the most mysterious...

@Balthazar007 Yep, keeping track of levels in hiders, and will edit the character sheets now.
@Zarkun I don't remember how many trainer points, but I seem to remember people could choose between an Axew egg and an Alolan Meowth egg.
@dimitri Yeah, one of my characters had a Chikorita following her around for years, so there's no reason why you couldn't do something similar with your character's backstory.
