Bio
Current GM of World of Light. When it comes to writing, there's nothing I love more than imagination, engagement, and commitment. I'm always open to talk, suggestion, criticism, and collaboration. While I try to be as obliging, helpful, and courteous as possible, I have very little sympathy for ghosts, and anyone who'd like to string me along. Straightforwardness is all I ask for.
Looking for more personal details? I'm just some dude from the American south; software development is my job but games, writing, and trying to help others enjoy life are my passions. Been RPing for over a decade, starting waaaay back with humble beginnings on the Spore forum, so I know a thing or two, though I won't pretend to be an expert. If you're down for some fun, let's make something spectacular together.
If you're referring to me, go ahead, but keep in mind you'd only be interacting with village NPCs and bandits. If you want to make and interact with the boss and give us a sense of his/her character, go ahead.
Hey, no problem, I'm having fun here. *rubs hands together* *pushes up imaginary glasses* Yes, this will do nicely... hehehehe...
If you're planning on further debate, it is my wish that we begin combat sooner rather than later. If our characters go back and forth for a while and the action that I specifically made this encounter to exhibit is delayed too long, people will grow bored. We all want to show what our characters can do in a combat situation.
That is, if BAST manages to resurrect itself to not be completely kicked out of the RP by the end of the month.
Sorry, BAST. A single post for an entire team in the space of two months is not acceptable. Assurance of continued presence is nice, but it's like setting out an empty cup: it holds an obligation to fill it. And your cup's been dry for ages.
The jovial countenance of Hugh turned decidedly sour as he heard Gaius not only reject his leading officer's advisement, but threaten him. He felt expectant eyes on him following the young tactician's challenge, shortly followed by a perturbed wyvern rider's brusque dismissal. The knight stepped forward and put an arm on Kel's shoulder. “Stand down. Nothing will be solved by displays like that.” He pulled Kel back and looked up at Gaius with suppressed scorn. “Soldier, I don't know what's gotten into you, but let's take a look at the facts. You admitted yourself that this is your first time in the field. Now, I might not have been born with a lance in my hand or a helmet on my head, but I've been in a fair share of skirmishes more dire than this one. A single arrow will kill our Wyvern Rider. Syrena has more than enough support in the form of Arkhant and Ronin should she require it, and I trust that she can control herself. We are outnumbered by a mere five men, and these are mere brigands we face, not a trained army.”
A more earnest look reasserted itself on Hugh's face. “You and I will iron out our problems together after the day is won...with my plan. Failure to defer to my leadership will compromise your position on the Reclaimers. I don't know if your father would like that very much.” This information came from Gaius's contract. “Do you understand?”
Abel and Sapphire heading to the infirmary and talking with Greyson, Daniel, and Robert (Whom of the latter two might just be visiting/relaxing) seems like a good option to me.
