Laughing as he eventually got back up, Cody ran his hands through his hair.
"That was AWESOME!" He said cheerfully as some unknown goth girl now seemed to tell them to stop fighting.
"She started it..." Cody mumbled under his breath as narrowed his eyes in confusion towards her as she said he couldn't be the hero he wanted to be. Who was she to be saying this?
He was about to make a retort before she suddenly leaned in close to him and whispered into his ear and went silent. He sat there for a few moments to let the information digest before leaping up to his feet.
"No-one tells a hero what they can or cannot be, I'll show you! As long as there is darkness I will be there to vanquish it!" Cody declared boldly before running off.

Cody glanced up at the incoming fireball.
Well damn. But heroes don't panic, if one wished to play the magic game, Cody had magic of his own.....what was it again? Oh right, storm magic. He had almost forgot his own magic.
Putting his hand up he willed the winds to pick up, which they did. It put out the fireball...but for them to be that strong the wind also blew Loki, Megan, Atticus and Cody himself in random directions as well.

Cody shrugged as Megan turned and left, but couldn't help making one last retort.
"As expected, all bark no bite." Cody said as he turned to Atticus.
"You seem to be the only one around willing to have a conversation." Cody said with a sigh. He didn't know what everyone else's problem was.

"Threaten? He's the one threatening me, I am merely saying that if he wishes to fight I am happy to oblige. Tell me what about that is threatening...other than fighting a hero of course." Cody replied with a shrug as he looked towards her with a grin.
"I am more than happy to fight you as well. At the same time, a hero doesn't back down regardless of the odds." Cody replied as he continued to wear his wide grin.

"Without confidence how can one prepare to face the forces of evil." Cody replied with a shrug. There was a thin line between cockiness and self-confidence, so Cody could say that one or the other could easily be misinterpreted by anyone.
Glancing over at Loki with a raised eyebrow, Cody chuckled.
"Someones a little rude, threatening someone without even giving your own name." Cody replied as he stared him in the eye. Cody wasn't going to back down simply because some brute tried to threaten him physically.
"If you wanna throw down, I am more than happy to oblige. A hero should always keep their reflexes sharp, and their fighting skills up to scratch." Cody replied smugly.

Grinning widely as two of the three introduced themselves to him, it begun to fade a little at Megan's question. Was she doubting him?
"Were? I am a hero." Cody huffed as he crossed his arms across his chest. He wasn't particularly fond of her attitude, but heroes must be forgiving.
"Slayer of evils, protector of justice. You know all that." Cody added as his grin returned. His magic was that of the storm, wild, unpredictable and powerful. He wasn't scared of anything, a trait all good heroes needed. At least in Cody's view.
