You make it sound like they're villains XD But to answer your question, no. They can't control her so wouldn't risk it. She is more than capable of beating Vesta so it isn't wise to take such a risk >.>

I suppose the difference is that Duncan is the youngest in his isn't he? Vivi has a younger sister, though her magical prowess and divine protection smash her on all counts (Fun fact: Vivi doesn't have a divine protection :P Her strength is pretty much entirely based on hard work and determination to stay useful. A Celestia who is useless isn't a Celestia for long.). Though she is very, very antagonistic and destructive.
Hence why they keep her under lock and key XD

Yes on the first part, not sure if she is capable of the second. I mean it doesn't sound difficult to do. I suppose it will depend where and situation and whatnot but I guess she could.
Though not as well as Vesta can sense people and their locations. Cheating bitch
Also I think Vivi and Duncan would get along swimmingly.

Fair points, fair points. But in a weapon fight, Vivi's has a far superior range to that of a knife. She mightn't look that tough, but she can wield a mean scythe blade.

Pfft Vivi doesn't need magic. She's the least skilled magician in the Celestia household. She's lighter and faster. Not sure on the fitter part though. Duncan is certainly physically stronger though. And more experienced.
But Vivi also fights Mabeasts for a living.

She does the same to Avery. She doesn't view Zin that much different from Avery (Both annoying as Fuck) Even the throwing into a pit part (Shiro tends to bail him out from there)
