@hatakekuro
Wait, he had to do three fights? That's unfair. How come she didn't have to fight three people?! This was discrimination of the worst kind. Discrimination against her. But it sounded like the fights were also reasonably unfair to his opponents as well, it seemed he was certainly too strong for the first two while the third one....he didn't win the fight per say, but seemed to win a wager instead which resulted in him winning the fight. Though she had no idea who Owen was, she made a note to try and fight him if given the chance.

"Oi." She didn't seem particularly happy when he patted her head. It was surprising, not something she expected the Oni to do. But what did she look like? A five-year-old needing reassurance from her father? Well, she didn't try to stop him anyway. He had muscles bigger than her like she could overpower or stop him from doing it. Well, bar from knocking his lights out. Which, considering the trouble she was already in, was probably not the wisest move.

His words were surprising, to be honest. Half of her expected him to also scold her for not keeping her power in check, the other half was just surprised because he didn't seem like he was capable of giving such sage-like advice. Or look like it anyway. Shouldn't judge a book by its cover, huh?
"Except I keep repeating the mistake..." She murmured softly, downcast. Because of her carelessness, Harper... Riona... they got hurt badly. One by her own hand, the other because she was reckless. Let alone everyone else she had hurt, especially...
His next little bit of advice snapped her out of her thoughts. Find someone to really let loose on? She wasn't sure how that would help her control since that sounded like the opposite, but there were very few she could go all out on without hurting them badly...
"Hah...I've tried. No one has been able to keep pace, not for long. It always ends the same." Everyone she had fought all ended up the same, burnt and beaten. If they were lucky, barely alive. Well, bar a couple of specific individuals...

"Every time I think I have a handle, it snaps off and things spiral out of control. Or I just make a stupid decision. Or I don't pay enough attention. Or-" She stopped herself midway. She could've just kept going on how she just kept repeating history, but then she would've been here forever. Honestly, she never changed. Sometimes she wondered why she bothered trying, but that man's words kept echoing and bothering her to no end.
"..It seems we're here." Thank god for that. That talk was just getting her down when she should be feeling up. There were fights to be fought after all! She could feel the tangible malice in the air, growing ever thicker with ethernano by the minute. Something was definitely off about this place.
"...Do you think I could launch myself towards the Island?" She really didn't want to be in such a tiny little boat while the sea was getting churned up by tremors from the Island. Just being tipped a little off-balance and they would end up in the ocean...

Cody Bloodstein

@Zarkun
Cody froze in his tracks at James' words. Love? Love?
The first thing that came to mind was instant denial. No, no, no. This couldn't be love. He barely knew anything about her, well besides what he believed everyone in the guild knew about her from their talk when they first met. He hadn't seen much of her after the Grand Magic Games as well, busy with James' training and maybe a little of trying to avoid her. Wait...why was he trying to avoid her anyway? Gah, his brain hurt from this mess he had found himself in. Memories and words just continuously looping over and over again his mind.
"You think...this is love?" Cody sounded unsure, and he was. He couldn't really say he had experienced 'love' before so maybe this was? James seemed to think so anyway.
"This just confuses me further..." Rubbing his temples, he shook his head as he began walking again. Maybe this wasn't the time nor place for this kind of talk, but he needed to get it off his mind otherwise it will continue to distract him "If this is love...then what do I do?"

Jasmine Lockwood and Rajah

@MarshiestMallow
"Oh? You're threatening me, your god?! You have some nerve. Deal with them both already Sir Ignatius, my patience has worn out with these two." Bah, this girl knew nothing. She didn't need to earn anyone's respect, it all belonged to her anyway. But if she didn't wish to show her the devotion she thought she deserved, then who needed such a useless apostle? She would make an example of these two!

Jasmine felt Penny's hand on, pulling her back slightly. To prevent herself from falling backwards, she stepped back with the pull and gave Penny a momentarily confused look. Though it didn't take long for the girl to realise what she was about to do. Especially once the song started, she felt her body suddenly become what felt like ten times it's mass. Of course it hadn't, but the sudden fatigue setting in from the spell made her feel so. It was so warm and soothing, very similar to the song she had sung her during their carriage ride over. Battling to keep her eyes open, she felt a rush of....something flow through her. What was this feeling? Magic?

Rajah cocked her head slightly at Penny's sudden breaking into song. What next, she was going to start dancing as well? If she thought that such simple entertainment would spare them she was dead wr-
The song had barely started and the young exceed had already smacked facefirst into the ground. Having fallen asleep almost instantly. It was kinda pathetic really, especially for someone who was bragging to be some sort of god. Even Jasmine had to feel a pang of pity for the poor exceed, no matter how rude she had been just moments before.

Gah, this was beyond embarrassing. How did she even get herself tangled up like this? She couldn't even look up at Huangdi as he knelt down to untie her, the shame was too much. She was a little buoyed at the fact he said he wouldn't mention this, but still...
Once the ropes were removed, her hands rubbing where they had been subconsciously, she shifted away from Huangdi as much as she could before smacking into the wall. Ow. She didn't show the slight pain of smacking into the wall, but she definitely felt it. Though this was also when she heard the Captain's loud, booming voice. Jesus, the man was a walking broadcasting lacrima. She could almost hear him clearly from here on the gundeck.

When Huangdi spoke, she looked up at him and was about to make a retort. But his tone and look gave her the impression it was perhaps unwise to. Tch, fine. "Whatever. It's probably just him finally telling them to settle down.", she didn't care either way but if it was important she might as well go. I mean, she would be lying if she wasn't a little curious as to what the possible ruckus might be. It didn't take long as one would expect, they were essentially going down a deck or two to reach their designation. She just hoped it wasn't a waste of time, this was eating into her reading right now and she didn't appreciate it. Entering behind Huangdi, she almost instantly scrunched up her face and covered her nose. They really needed a bath onboard at least, this was just plain disgusting the combined stench. Dear Juno, it was like the entire crew had been shoved into this postage stamp of a deck like sardines. That just meant more, smelly, sweaty drunken bodies. Wonderful.

Maybe if she just blew a hole in the side of the ship and let some rain in? She knew that was outrageously stupid, but it was tempting all the same. What was worse, putting up with these smelly pigs or the storm outside? She hadn't quite decided, but luckily her mind was bought back to the present before she made any such rash moves by outbursts from the crowd. To describe her expression in one word was simple from here on out; livid. Absolutely, positively livid. There might well as have been steam raising from her ears, and if it wasn't for Huangdi she might've said or done something there and then. But if she tried, she knew he would stop her. But it would only delay the inevitable, surely even he knew that.

While the rest of the crew seemed to grow more lively as Ragnar spoke, she instead stayed dead quiet. Her nails dug into her palm, her tightly clenched fists slowly turning even more pale than usual. They had to be joking. Well, if they wished to be no more than moronic savages with brains the sizes of quarks that was their choice. But she was soon reaching meltdown, hearing that she was she apparently participating reached that point. The fact that she had to work together with the most vulgar, brain dead savage of the lot? That tipped her over it. At Huangdi's offer, she simply brushed him off and gave him the coldest of shoulders without so much a look in his direction let alone a response. He couldn't see her face, but if he could he would've known exactly what was about to happen.

Stepping up onto a table, a book materialised in her hand as she drew her arm back. And it wasn't just any book, it was a hardcover encyclopedia almost as thick as Adelyn was spiteful. Almost, but not quite. With one swift movement, she flung the book straight into the back of Ragnar's head. The connection it made with the Captain's head made the most satisfying thud one would ever hear, a second thud soon after as it cluttered onto the wooden deck.
"...I thought you lot were about as intelligent as a flea, combined, but you seem to have failed to reach that bar. It's amazing really. Amazingly pathetic." Her voice came out in a low growl as she stood up straight. "I'll tell you what 'sickens me to the core'? You lot's choice of vocabulary. I've heard a wider, more extensive choice from an infant. I would suggest reading a dictionary, but it would surprise me if you even knew what one was. Or if you even knew any words longer than 7 letters. Like you," Pointing down into the crowd, she narrowed her eyes into slits "Did your mother procreate with a horse, or are you just naturally as ugly as the backside of a stallion? And you," Pointing into the crowd again "Do you know how to not speak like some sort of drunken thug? Probably not, seeing as you amount to little no more than just that." Finally levelling her sharp gaze back at the Captain, these next words were the bluntest and direct.

"And you disgust me the most. You think you can just drag Keter's name through the mud and expect me to just go along with this? Let alone work with that vulgar, brain dead savage? I would rather eat casu marzu than spend even five seconds of my time with him. You're even more brainless than a planarian. What on earth were they thinking, betraying everything they knew, the Librarium, their own family for uncultured swine like you." She had had enough of this. They could all go get dropped into a meat grinder for all she cared. Stepping down, she shoved anyone who tried to get in her way in the chest. And if that didn't deter them? Well, a arrow made from holy magic would sort them out rather quickly. She just wanted-no, needed space. She would take her chances with the top deck rather than down here. Quickly ascending to the top of their rickety ship, anyone who had either the lack of intelligence or simply just plain old bravery to follow her would probably also earn themselves a Divine Arrow to the chest. Or face, she wouldn't spare even a moment of her time to actually aim. She didn't care enough to. Nor did she know what to do once she had actually reached the top deck. She had ceased all active thinking since she had returned to the barracks, her fists tightly clenched as she went to kick a barrel over letting out a cry that was a mixture of frustration and anger. And a little bit of pain, seeing as the barrel was filled with water and barely budged from her kick.
Elizabeth

A soft humming could be he heard vibrating throughout the cold, stone bedchamber. Numerous maids rushing back and forth, each one seeming to be in a hurry to get their tasks completed. The line of scurrying maids led to the source of humming, a young woman with shimmering gold hair and striking crimson eyes, though they remained closed at this present moment. Numerous maids were attending to her right now, combing and brushing her golden locks as another group seemed to be helping her into a beautifully handcrafted gown, the light shimmering off of the flowing blue fabric to create a dazzling effect. Not that the young lady needed the effect to turn a few heads, by human standards she was already an outstanding beauty that could steal the hearts of men at first glance. However, her 'Father', a Supreme Being beyond human comprehension had would be coming today and she wanted to make herself as presentable as possible. Well, she had only heard her Father was coming. The majority of the Supreme Ones were coming after all so she reasoned he would too.

As made obvious by the soft hum she made, she seemed to be in a good mood. Who wouldn't? She hadn't seen much of her Father around these past few months, though it had felt more like years to her. An eternity even. Ah, how good it would be to see his face once more. To merely bask in his presence would be enough for the girl. As the maids put the finishing touches on her outfit, her eyes open so as to let her dark hues sneak a glance at the large mirror a group of maids held in front of her. Analysing the reflection she saw, wondering if the gown was perhaps just a little over the top? She doubted she could steal any of the limelight from her Father, but it wouldn't do to give the impression she might be trying to do just that.
"You, fetch me my coat." With a snap of her fingers, she pointed towards a maid without sparing even a moment to glance as she gave her order. "And make it quick. My Father shouldn't be too far off and I wish to be ready for his arrival." As the maid scurried away, they took a few steps back and bowed their heads respectfully towards the blonde.

While she admired herself in the mirror, twirling around to have a view of the entire dress, she heard Baron's voice penetrate her mind. Gah, such an annoying pest. What could he possibly want now, moments before her Father's arrival? She supposed she would at least listen to whatever he had to say. As much as she hated to admit it, but to her, he was higher ranking seeing as he made by the Guild Master. The 'most powerful' of all Supreme Beings. That much at least deserved some respect from the prideful girl anyway.
Oh? This message was...disturbing, to say the least. She dwelled on what her fellow NPC had just stated, stroking her chin thoughtfully as she became immersed in her thoughts. If he was relaying a command from the guild master, that was one thing. But instead, he was sending out a message from Volaris? She wasn't going to lie, the Specter gave her the creeps. Not that she would admit it.

"Lady Elizabeth, all the preparations are complete." The maid she had sent to get her coat had come back and her voice snapped Elizabeth back to reality, a dark silk coat in her outstretched hands.
"...I'm afraid I'm going to have to cancel all plans I had. I'm sure when my Father arrives he'll understand. All of you are dismissed, and tell all the guards to be on high alert." With heavy reluctance she spoke. She doubted Baron would be summoning all the guardians for no reason at all, let alone telling them to seal off the Cathedral. Something was off, though Elizabeth couldn't quite put her finger on it.

"...It has already been done My Lady." As the maids filed out to comply with her commands, she was semi-startled by the sudden appearance of a demonic woman with half-black, half-white hair. Though it lasted only a moment, shaking her head and looking down towards the knelt down form of her guardian.

"I should've expected no less Megu. So you have the entire forest on alert I assume then?" Just the assured nod she was given in response was enough to settle some of the nerves the young woman was feeling. This was the first time such an incident had occurred during her time as Guardian, so it was reassuring to have the level-headed Megu having already deal with the majority of what needed to be done.
"I've increased the number of monsters and patrols as per protocol, I have also begun arming the maids and increasing the defences in general on the floor. I presume it should be enough as a measure for now, as we have very little information as to what exactly seems to be the problem Lady Elizabeth." Excellent, that saved Elizabeth time having to do it herself. As stated, she enjoyed having such a reliable guardian at her disposal. Her Father was truly kind to have blessed her with Megu's presence.
"Excellent work as always Megu. I trust you have set up the chains of command?" Another nod Excellent. Then nothing is stopping us from joining the others. Teleportation." With a soft smile, she placed a hand on Megu's shoulder before the duo vanished from sight.

The next moment, they had reappeared just outside the Chamber's doorway. Megu was composed and ready to enter, however, Elizabeth took just a brief moment to take a deep breath and straighten out some loose hairs. Before then taking yet another deep breath. She needed to be composed and elegant here, so as to not tarnish her Father's name.
with Megu a step behind, the blonde took long strides inside. Her blue gown flowing behind her like a waterfall, looking quite out of place by how overdressed she seemed to be.
"This had better be important Master Volaris, I was meant to be meeting up with my Father any moment now and I wouldn't want to keep him waiting." Despite her rather dismissive words aimed at the Supreme Being, her tone was respectful and calm. Speaking more like a mother speaking with a principal, patient and respectful but still annoyed with her children after they had gotten in trouble at school.
Megu wordlessly stopped a few steps behind the Crimson Eyed Mage, bowing respectfully towards each respective fellow Guardian and Volaris.
"What my Lady means to say is that I'm sure we are all quite busy and would like to know the circumstances behind our sudden summon Lord Volaris. I too am curious as to what is so important to summon us all here...is everything all right?" Frowning as she spoke, her concern was obvious. Why was just Volaris here, and not say Stauffenberg, the guild master? Something was definitely off.

@HueMan I skipped a lot of detail but this should suffice right? (Seeing as he won't be needing items or skills since he won't be staying behind I left them out, if need be we'll just say he has generic gear or I can list a special weapon or two)

@HueMan yeah I’ll get it done by tonight
@HueMan
Hmm fair point. I’ll delay my NPC and try to finish my PC. Might just skip a bit of detail and not be in the running to be the one to stay?
@HueMan
I don't know if I can finish a CS for a player in time, can I just make one for a NPC which gets carried over?
Placeholder for a soon to be WIP CS
Jasmine Lockwood and Rajah

@MarshiestMallow
“Ex..ceeds?” Tilting her head, Jasmine pondered briefly what this cat-like creature had to do with excelling, surpassing or a greater number than expected. Strange indeed. But the creature was absolutely adorable! If it didn’t seem so hostile, Jasmine wanted to give it a hug.
But with Penny seeming to be in mood for taking smack from the Exceed, the blonde glanced from from the older girl to the cat back to the older girl. She hoped they wouldn’t fight….

“H-how disrespectful human! Your master- no, the master of all creation- demanded you get on your knees so you better fucking do it!” Now Rajah was mad. This red head seemed to think that she was above her! She would show this upstart the status quo, but first…
“There’s only one job you need to, and that’s shower me in tributes and worship. Everything else is just a waste of your time. I am all your pointless lives need!” With a laugh and look so smug it beggared belief Rajah pointed directly at Penny and Jasmine. Though she was momentarily distracted by Iggy’s arrival, he was just in time!

“Ah perfect timing Sir Ignatius! I was just about to smite this girl, but I shall allow you to do so in my place instead. That should give the girl a chance, how merciful am I? Bwahahahaha!” Somehow, her laugh got even more smug and uppity. How it was possible, no one could ever work out given a thousand years.

Jasmine wasn’t even scared anymore at this point, just...confused. Really, really confused. What was this ‘Rajah’s problem with them? They were here to help the poor townsfolk after all!
“Oh-oh really, if you’re so ‘all-powerful’ then w-why didn’t you stop the fish from terrorising the town?!” Jasmine’s words did the trick, in making Rajah shut up that is. The Exceed’s laught stopping abruptly. Even if Rajah was as she claimed, Jasmine would worship this adorably vile creature. Even if she was ‘smited’ for it.

Even though she wasn’t sure if she could control her magic or not yet, seeing as she had yet to test it since the guild hall incident, she stepped out in front of Penny and prepared to encase the two flying cats in water.
“I-I-I won’t let you hurt Penny! Please calm down!” Jasmine didn’t want to fight, nor did she know if she could control her magic so hopefully this exceed would listen to reason. If not, then to prevent violence she hoped she could control her Sphere spell.

Rajah was shocked at the fact that the girl who had just been sheltering behind Penny till this point was suddenly telling her, a divine being far beyond their understanding, off! So she dared rebel against her as well! Then so be it.
“Kah, another upstart. Sir Ignatius, deal with this one as well. I know it isn’t fair, two verus one, but we need to give them at least some slim hope of beating my champion.” Where she had this supreme confidence in her delusions was anyone’s guess.
