The idea behind this 1x1 is that I'm playing an android and your character is just anyone else - though the idea of a detective or even military hero (like Shepard from Mass Effect!) really seems like an awesome romance for my girl. However I'm approaching this differently than most. Our characters won't meet right away, but instead your character will be tasked with finding my android since she's an experimental build and claimed to be very dangerous. However when your character finds her, she will soon realize that she is simply scared and trying to survive. So I figured at first... chasing her might be hard since she can jump over large walls, scale buildings, hide from view, and a number of other tricks.

That way we can build the universe, create other characters, both helpful and harmful. An example even is maybe your character chases her down an alley only to lose her, but then runs into the local gang leader. We could really go anywhere with this. That being said, it will be a sci-fi setting, but no need to go super hard on details and how everything works - unless you want. Like, we don't need to know how warp drives work for them to just work. =3 Anyways, anyone interested? I am really only looking for one partner for this and a dedicated one! If we start and you just disappear, I will add you to a private list of people to not RP 1x1s with anymore. Sorry, it just happens way too much for my tastes.

"Thank you!" she chimed cheerfully, hopping out of the chair. "Oh, and of course - there is a child wandering towards the markets? She's a bit... ummmmm.... revealed and has a large ring for a weapon. Well, it's a ring, but not a ring, but it looks like a ring, right? Right." The small woman simply nodded to herself. "There's another guest after that - she'll be near the tavern by the front gate, being harassed by some drunkard for being a plant woman. Shameful, really. Then by the time that's all done, just head the library, okay? There will be another small child and woman talking. Invite them over as well."

The knight only seemed to pay attentively to the green-dressed child before nodding once. "Of course, madam." With a simple bow, he was off, almost as if he was used to following the small rants and directions of the woman.

With the room empty excluding the pair, the child just grinned for a moment. "So.. kind of crazy, right? How many years has it been? A little over seven thousand.. maybe? I don't know, I'm not good with the past. Xenobia is the one that sees the past the best. But hey! I saw you coming, right?" Royce seemed to beam proudly before sitting down. "Well, might be a while, yeah? So you can have a seat or.. uh.. stand.. or, um.. whatever you're going to do." She winks at him. "Right - I'm an oracle. I see the future the best, but no, I can't see everything. That damned moon makes it harder too." She paused, relaxing in her chair. "... and I look younger than I am." At that, she simply smiled. She was definitely a strange character.

Morgan raised an eyebrow at the dragon's comment. She hadn't meant to stand as if she was scared there would be a fight - in fight, she just didn't feel fear. She had been a fairly fearless person before her death, but this seemed different. Perhaps a blessing given to her after her revival? Surely it wasn't hard to imagine she would have a few more blessings than she did in her previous life. However, she truly wondered if the old creature understood what he was saying. After all, Excalibur was a force to be reckoned with, even if it wasn't specified towards dragonkind. Regardless, she was keen on letting the dragon leave, especially since she could sense the unease of the men around her. Surprised they hadn't been more uneasy though - perhaps some effect she had with her new blessing. "Do not worry, ser - I'll protect her with my life," she reassured the giant dragon, to which he only gave a slight snort.

"He seemed unique, even among the dragons," she replied with a soft smile. 'Gods, I've missed her,' she silently thought to herself before nodding and gesturing to the queen they were done, though she did not mean to command royalty.

Meliadoul walked over, not seeming offended by the gesture and looked to the sky for a moment. "Well.. it is pleasant that he's on our side. Vis knows we need as much help as we can muster." Her eyes found the pair once more and nodded. "It'll take until the morning to get a pair of horses ready for travel. While airship might faster, it's loaned to the front lines, so it's the best we can offer." She sounded a little apologetic. "One of the guards will escort you to your room - you'll probably see Odessa, my knight commander, who's prepared it for you both. Unless you need more of me, I need to direct orders to the front lines. Unless you have any questions?"

".. actually," Morgan started, "what are these creatures that plague the land? You.. said alien?" While she had plans on how to reach the trade city in her head, she hadn't a clue what the danger was exactly. It was not oft that people used the term alien. That implied no one could explain where they were from. Even the fey, from Avalon, were never referred to as such despite being on a different plane of existence.

"Aye," she replied, letting out a sigh and a shrug. "They are abominations of the strangest order. The closest thing they resemble are demons, but even then.. they are somehow colder and strange than even those evil monsters. As far as we know, they simply showed up twenty years ago - from Eagrose to the east - and corrupted the land into a frozen dark wasteland. They are as fast as the most agile desertman and strong as the northernmen. Perhaps even more so. We lose ground each day, though it is slow. They seem nearly endless." The queen frowned slightly and shook her head. "Thankfully heroes of our own time.. have held well enough.. I only pray you and the others can tip the scale." With that, she gave a sad nod and glanced to Nimue. "M'lady? Do you have anything to ask before I go back to my duties?"
@Crusader Lord - Okay, give me a sec to start dishes and format my reply.
@Crusader Lord - I can just post directly then without a collab?
Just FYI everyone, I added a map to the original OOC post. <3 Let me know if you want/need anything else added!

@Lyla

Hey, is it ok if I manipulate the star knight? Otherwise my next post might be sort of short. I was also wondering if you would want Maya to reveal that he was being summoned by one of the trio. I figured she would know who they are. It'd still be pretty funny because Genbu would definitely be expecting a grandiose ruler and just seeing a bubbly, little girl would definitely throw him off track, or he could be completely surprised when he finds out she's one of the trio.

Yes! To both answers! :)

The doors creaked open as a man dressed in blue and white armor appeared. "Yes madam?" His voice echoed ever so softly within the room, filled with bookshelves and skylights, that shined just beautifully within the makeshift library.

"Ah, yes, yes. Um... he's here! The one, the one? Yes. Please bring him to me! He doesn't have a shirt, after all - easy to spot. Have a spear and shield? You know the one, I'm sure. Goes by Genbu. Be a dear and fetch him, will you?" The speaker, a seemingly young girl dressed in green with almost a glow about her, who also happened to be spinning in her chair as she spoke - like a child. She giggled softly as she finished, flashing a girlish smile at the star knight.

"Of course, madam," he simply said, bowing his head with the utmost respect. Within moments, he had disappeared, closing the old doors behind him.

Before Genbu could make his way to buying a shirt, a guard seemed to come from around the corner. He was dressed differently than the city guard, signaling him as different than the others - of course everyone in Bervenia knew them as the star knights. It had been the same man from before, strong-looking and sporting a trimmed beard. "Excuse me, Genbu?" he asked, slowing to a stop before the legendary hero. "Madam Royce would like to see you." Unbeknownst to Genbu, he had just been summoned by one of the Twilight Trio.
@Noodles@BubblegumQueen@Deos Morran@SimpleD@Holy Grail - Awesome! Just waiting on Holy Grail now. =3 This is fun. Though just fyi - I'm very much just letting this go at your guy's pace. Meaning that if everyone wants to keep posting and keep playing here, then just keep posting. =3
