I don't think the code works like that, but I'll check. The validation isn't that complex.

Problem Posting Interest Checks

I originally would be returned to the screen to post a new thread when I wanted to post my interest check, but when fiddling around with it more, I realized I was picking too many tags and later not enough, but I got it posted just fine now.

I see, thanks. I think I can improve the process by displaying errors before you submit the form, and then prevent you from submitting the forum until you've resolved all the errors.

People have consistently been confused by the tag regulations on tags, @Mahz. So the description text on the tag system could use expansion or clarification.

Reading the code, the forum simply validates that you've chosen 1-5 tags. Is that what you're talking about?

I'll implement some client-side validation so you don't need to round-trip all the way to the server just to find out you chose one too many tags. Duh.

Are you thinking of adding a way to search for specific role-plays instead of searching for posts? I'm one who doesn't want to go through all the pages of RPs to look for the types I might like to join and therefore keeps pressing the search button thinking I can enter the keyword and those type of role-plays would show up, but instead get every comment that has that keyword in it.

Yeah, it's really time for me to bring the search feature up to the next rung, isn't it?

That would vastly improve the site for many people. Thanks, I've just promoted search-enhancements to my #2 spot and demoted PM-management features since they're really just nice-to-haves compared to this.

Other things on my plate:

- My current task right now is shoring up the contest + trophy systems by providing @mdk and @Terminal some basic management tools.
- Another priority after speaking with @Rilla is to build some tools for the Arena that gives it enough structure to evolve into something more interesting.

This year I'm all about tools and structure.
