Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Misty

Misty knew she should probably be doing something, with her time. Some sort of study, or class, but she found that she didn't particularly want to do anything right then. Slightly troubled, although she didn't know why, She always felt like that after receiving a letter from back home. Sometimes she felt that they merely kept that contact open, should she wish to return. If she failed. She loved the little town, and yet, she couldn't help but fell like she'd been a burden to them. In the two years since she had come to the acadmey, Misty had done all she could to send what aid, money or otherwise, that she could to the little town that had, at one time, been everything she knew.

She just never knew how to reply to the seemingly daily lives, so distant to her now, of people she had known her whole life, who had raised her. Layla is having a baby the happiness in that single sentence both thrilled and saddened her. She had played with Layla, the girl was the same age as her, and the htought that Layla was taking another path to what Misty was was saddening. At the same time, she knew that Layla would be thrilled to have a child. Jack's illness is getting worse. FOr as long as she had known Jack, the man was always complaining about one illness or another. Was this just another ploy? Authur is getting married, to Ginevera. Just how was she meant to respond to that? That guy she'd had a crush on for most of her life, getting married to someone Misty had hated?

It just couldn't be done.

Her hands reached for the harp, never far from her, as if to take comfort from it, playing a few notes, she let it trail off, shaking her head. Flooded with thoughts and feelings that weren't hers, she let herself float along with them a moment, before deciding to find something she could do. Maybe hitting something would make her feel better. She slid the harp into the holster she had made for it along her back, thankful it was only small. When first carrying the harp around, it had been a challenge, but she had adjusted, her body had become stronger. And now it was easy.

She wandered for a time, stumbling across the ballroom, she was a little surprised to see someone there. She watched them for a moment, realising she might be intruding on something, she shifted awkwardly, She didn't particularly inteact with others easily, or deliberalty make an effort, She recognised Lazarus, but that didn't mean she had to approach.

Still, she found herself clearing her throat, and saying awkwardly, "I'm sorry, Sir, i didn't mean to interupt..."
@Caits I have the absolute BEST NEWS to share with you.

Two people opted out of getting a puppy from the breeder, so she had two open spots on the waiting list. I slipped in there and had my choice of two dogs.

So now let me introduce you to... Roly! (I'm changing the name but this is his current one)

I can pick him up on the 19th!

GAH

I WANT HIM TO BE MINE

....how...how much did you pay for him? So I can...I can...I can save up?
Kalinda ate her toast walking to the gym, but she avoided going near anyone. Upset, still a little unstable, and hurting, Kalinda would have prefered to find somewhere quite where she could just be by herself. The previous days events had left her...empty? And on high alert. Every emotion seemed heightened, but it wasn't just that.

There were strange, mixed emotions swirling around her. Almost...dull, but still powerful. Different...as she dropped crumbs walkng, there was sparks of excitement, flashes of adrenaline, and she'd heard flutters of wings.

Bemused, Kalinda moved to the back of the Gym, avoiding anyone and everyone, not wanting to risk touching anyone.

Connor looked over to Kijani and smiled, glad she seemed okay, if a little tired. Perhaps there was another way for her to build her paper planes...he thought on that a moment, but his thoughts were broken as Bruce Wayne approached the centre of the stage.

Bruce looked over the students, unable to not feel guilty for what he had agreed to. Giving a soft sigh, Bruce started to speak. "After recent events, and quite a length of arguments and debates, its has been decided that, as we teachers are unable to do so due to the pact, that you students shall take jobs. There will be, of course, regulations to up hold, and we will be there if needed" he started, pausing to see the students reactions.
Jarvis watched Amelia and Ryu for a moment, a little curious but not interupting, He glanced to Carver, and gave hima welcoming smile, giving a nod. "Well, we are always welcoming new members. Normally, we would bring you into the guild, but at the moment we are using the hotel we were given for the games, if you'd like to come back with me, we can get you sorted for a guild mark.

We also offer housing, at ten percent a month of your earnings, and we expect our renovatios to be complete when we get back, so there will be rooms free if you wish to live at the guild"

Sam smiled at Elyse, studying the flower happily, she reached out to touch it, "Its pretty, I'd love one" She carefully touched the flower, not wanting to do any damage to it, and smiling brightly, and looking about, wondering who Elyse was talkign about.

Penny smiled at the message, and did glance back, but wasn't surprised when she saw Damian was gone. Thoughtful for a moment, she headed up to her room, on the pretense of going to rest, she used a teleportation lacrima-effectively disobeying Jamie, without disobey her, it wasn't Penny's magic after all-to head back to the guild hall.

All going well, she'd be back before the ball started. Although she had no idea what she was doing.
