Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Abigale blinked, the five year old feeling...out of her depth. Could she really give this kid advice, could she really help him? Abigale didn't know, and she stumbled back as he hissed at her, falling to her butt as she did so. She looked up at him, her brown eyes wide, and maybe a little scared. "Did you stop and think that maybe there was more going on, that maybe they couldn't stop and tell you what happened?" She asked, from her spot on the ground, her dark hair framing her young face. "That maybe your here, simply because Miss Callie can help you?" Abigale got to her feet, hugging herself a little bit. "Callie is a witch. A good witch. She's given what was probably hard charms to you because she wants to help you"

She stared at him, her brown eyes warm, but a little haunted. "Miss Zoe has ways to make the process easier, and Miss Callie is a witch she could use magic to make it easier if she wanted to. You're a Wizard, Harry" She said in a rather passable immitation of Hagrid, yet another note of her Harry Potter obession. She didn't know the kids name, he hadn't told her yet, she was sure, so...she just quoted the line, "And if I was you...I'd be glad someone wants to teach me, and to give me a home" Abigale looked up to the kid and said "Miss Zoe's sister is a cop. I don't think your record would...mean anything really"

She turned from him, and said "But be grouchy. You seem good at it" The young girl said, looking in the direction Remus had gone.

As her father passed Syleste over to Gage, as he spoke, as he looked down at her, Cassandra had to look away. She wasn't sure about much anymore, and she sniffled. As he moved her away, she clutched at him, and when he put his lab coat over her shoulders, she slid her arms through the sleeves, holding the coat close to herself. It was too big for her, the sleeves too long, the trailing on the ground, and she could wrap it around herself quite nicely. It made her feel warm and safe, much like her father's hugs. She inhaled his scent, a faint constant for her, her entire life. Amber. Vanilla. A comforting combination, that she associated with everything her father was. She bowed her head, hugging herself, the coat wrapped around her. She swallowed, trying not to cry again.

Her fathers voice fell over her, another constant in her life. Talking things through with her, telling her stories, helping her understand things...his voice was one of the few things she first remembered. One of the first things she heard in the morning, one of the last she heard at night. She closed her eyes, her head bowed, his words swimming through her head. What he was saying...didn't make sense. Oh, on the surface, she supposed it did...but not deep down. she has claimed you all as her own, despite another being the one to turn you. No...that wasn't right. If it was as simple as that...then couldn't the...the...werewolf that attacked them...just claim them right now? The thoughts confused her, and she snuggled into the coat more.

Wouldn't it make more sense...if they had to claim...Zoe as their alpha?

She opened her eyes, meeting her fathers gaze, as he approached her again. "I love you, Cassie. And I'll always protect you..." Oh, god. He had hidden something from her...she bit her lip as he kissed her brow, cradled her head. He had hidden something from her...something big. Something she didn't know if she could forgive. She shook slightly, as he kept his eyes on her. Like she was the only thing in the world that mattered. She had seen that look, everyday of her life. And it crushed her.

"Forgive me."

Two simple words. With a whole lot of mening. For single moment, time seemed to slow, and she gave the ttiniestof nods. She hugged herself once more, watching her father. Watch as he sprouted wings. She stood, silent and watching him, unable to look away.

"You used to call me your guardian angel when you were little... I've wanted to tell you a thousand times as to how right you were..."

She looked up at him, eyes swimming with tears. None, however, dropped as she stared at him, trying to process everything. Trying to...understand. "Then" She said softly, after what seemed like a long time, "Why didn't you?". She didn't take her eyes from him. Had her mother...been the same? why...why wasn't she like her father then? Feeling a little lost, she stared at her father, wanting to go over to him, but she didn't think that she could, wanting his comfort, she was scared. Terrified, in fact.

"Daddy..."

She drew in a deep breath, and went towards him, hesitant at first, before she flung herself at him, hugging him tightly, "I love you, Dad" she said, her voice breaking and she swallowed around the painful lump in her throat, pressing herself close against him, before she let go, looking up at him. "But...you're wrong, Dad. Zoe can't claim us...we have to claim her" She didn't realise how right that was, until her heart started to beat fast, as she turned to Zoe. She couldn't imagine that...that Zoe was happy with what had happened. She swallowed, and met the woman's eyes, walking over to the older woman, she stopped in front of her. "My name is Cassandra Arvantis." She knew that Zoe knew that, but...it felt right, in some way shape and form. "And I am a werewolf" She tried not to let hesitancy form in her words, as she swallowed. "And you...are my Alpha"

She wished she could know if that was right, as she took her gaze away from Zoe for a moment, looking to her friends, gaze rolling over Syleste and Sebastian-not because they weren't important, but because...they weren't wolves. Her gaze landed on her father a moment, before falling to Miranda, to Gage holding Syleste, to Aron and Cody on the bed, to the man behind Zoe, to Kaylee and the boy beside her. ”I don’t know what’s going to happen...I don’t...I don’t truly know what has happened to us...but” She straightened her shoulders, and looked back to Zoe, hoping she was doing the right thing. ”We are what we are now...and I am glad to not stand alone” Her gaze flicked to her father. She knew she’d never be alone, with him as her father, but...she could no more understand what it was to be what he was, then he could about her being a werewolf. It tore at her, as she clutched the coat to her tighter, and her gaze went back to Zoe.

”Is...is there anything else, I need to do...?”

She looked to Zoe for guidance, for what she needed to do, her eyes slightly wide, but accepting...trusting...and filled with a need she didn't truly understand then. Might never understand. Her hands hung loosely by her side, and she simply stared at Zoe, waiting. Here was someone that could understand, that could help her, her friends. And right then, that was all Cassandra needed. Just to not feel...lost.

Quinton sighed softly at everyones reactions, staying close to zoe, he tried to be...beta like, as he backed Zoe up, enusring that it wasn't just her that was speaking. He scanned across the room, frowning at the girls challenge to Zoe, the alpha, he sighed. These pups had a lot to learn about being in a pack, and the hierachy, but perhaps she could be excused, it had been a difficult day for them. Still...He watched Zoe as she took the challenge, causing the girl to back down. A little relieved at that, Quinton shifted slightly, scanning the room once more. His gaze landed on Xerses, the two teens that weren't healing. Yes, the place was indeed a beacon.

And for him, lucky. Perhaps Abigale andss himself had forever been coming here, but it had been...luck he susposed that found the hunter dead, and them safe in the town. His gaze went to Zoe, as he thought for a moment, then back to the teens. As one of the boys, one of the imprinted boys, took the girl from the doctor, Quinton sighed.

God save him from young werewolves in love.

As the boy made to flee the room, Quinton shifted int o action, blocking the door way, he stared down at the young boy, carrying the girl. "Don't think so, Kiddo" He said softly, trying to give him a kind smile, nodding him back into the room, his body blocking the exit, making it clear that the young man wasnt going to get through, "She needs medical care, and you can't take her from the doctor, be a good lad, please and return to where you were"
Well I'm gonna write a post up now ^.^ been slowly catching up on posts lol

Cody curled around Aron, knowing he was holding onto Aron, as if he was the only thing that made sense. Right then, he was. If nothing else made sense in this suddenly topsy turvy world, he was glad Aron was the one thing. It felt good, Aron's warmth, his scent, the...security that he felt. As Zoe began to speak, Cody glanced up, looking to the older woman. He bit his lip, and looked to Aron noting that his injuries did indeed appear to have healed, for which he was greatful. He didn't like seeing Aron hurt. Sighing softly, he shifted so he could watch the room, but still be close to Aron.

Werewolf?

Such things just did exist, did they? He shuddered slightly, glancing away from Zoe, He closed his eyes, and tried to let his mind process everything that had happened, everything Zoe was telling them. The attack...he didn't want to think about that, but he did, the red eyes of the beast that attacked them...the pain...the other wolves jumping in. Another pair of red eyes.He swallowed, his eyes opening, and meeting zoe's again, and glancing away again, to Aron. A safer place to rest his gaze.

Red, haunting eyes.

He let out a slow breath. Werewolves. Were they seriiously werewolves? He shifted enough to check his own injuries, noting the lack of pain in his ankle, the mere fact that his body didn't hurt, that in fact it did feel...great. Cody worked out, took care of himself, and generally felt good, but this was a whole new level. He swallowed. Werewolf. Turning back to Aron, Cody engulfed him in another hug. At least...he wouldn't be alone. His gaze went to Syleste, Sebastian and he faltered. He felt guilty that they weren't healing, worried for their health.

Connor

@Vicier

Connor shifted just slightly, so he could hug Kaylee with his free arm, the other she was holding like it was a life line in a storm, which didn't bother him. He looked down at her, a small smile on his face, that he didn't seem to be aware of, as he just looked at her. Yet something seemed to be wrong, noting that Kaylee seemed to be worried, following her gaze to the girl that had spoken out against the woman. The other teens in the room seemed to be taking the roar well, but that girl had, it seemed, not. He sighed softly, and stayed close to Kaylee, prefering that to anything else right then.

He barely heard the woman speak, finding it slightly irrelevant now that he had some understanding with what was going on, but he did listen. A beacon. Was that why he had been drawn here, to this? To Kaylee? It seemed...likely, but Connor didn't wanted to assume anything, as this was all a new area to him. Turning slightly, he once more engulfed Kaylee in his arms, wanting her presence there, needing it, to anchor him. It seemed that she was all that was stable, and...safe in his life right then.

There were obviously more supernatural creates in the world. Whatever the two teens that hadn't healed were...and what ever other ones were around. What that meant, Connor didn't truly know. How could the world not know of superantural beings in their midst? it was a terrifying thought. At least he now had answers on what had happened that night...Why he had survived and his father hadn't was a mystery he knew he might never solve.

So he held onto Kaylee, needing her as his world was once more turned inside out, wondering how many times one person could survive such things. To be ladeled, finally, for what he was...he closed his eyes. At least...At least he hadn't killed anyone, the previous month. He didn't think he could have lived with himself. Nothing was harmed, except perhaps his sleeping bag, and that was nothing. Bowing his head over Kaylee, he breathed in deeply, letting her scent wash over him. "So. If I'm a werewolf, that makes you a..." He thought a moment, then smiled "Weredingo"
Callie

@Legion02

Callie gathered what she would need to first take down the security and then reset it, forming a magic circle with salt, she began to chant the magic she'd need to break her own spells, and then released the energy, the magic rippling through the house with a small pop to those that could use and sense magic. Satisfied, she began to remove the other enchanctments and protects that were around the house, this a ltitle more difficult as they weren't her own, but Callie knew the makers, had studied their auras, and tuned her own to theirs, making the job slightly easier. The hardest thing was the mountain ash, despite the fact that this didn't effect her, it did have a slight resistance to magic, but she soon had that sorted, and back where it belonged.

As she set about resetting the security, she glanced over her shoulder, seeing Alexis moving towards her private kitchen, the wolf-dog pup licking her face, she smiled to herself, and approached the girl. She supposed she couldn't blame her for the curiosity, especially after everything that had happened, and she said "Alexis, child, you need not fear. I appreciate curiosity, as it shows an interest to learn. I did not think to include you in what I was doing, but I imagine you have a lot of questions" She said, giving the girl a soft smile, "Well, lets retreat to my kitchen a moment, you can distract the pup with a treat or two, as I don't think he is going to leave you alone" She said with amusement.

"I do not want you to be afraid, my private ktichen is protected to keep my human guests out, so they cannot get involved in any magic that might be in there, in the works, as it would be dangerous to them" She explained, "you should feel free to enjoy it yourself" She said, stepping into the kitchen, she glanced around it. With wide counter space, she had a pantry to one side, a small fridge to the other, in between was a large gas stove, over the top of the stove hung various pots and pans, and all around the kitchen there were herbs and spices, things she'd need for her spells. It had a warm cozy feel to it, a circle etched in the floor, around the larger counter, and there were no wires, pipes or electrical objects within the circle, making it as secure as it could possibly be. She glanced to Alexis and smmiled.

While Kieran slept, Tabitha immersed herself in drawing, but something was nagging at her. Something Kieran had said. "He.....has ulterior motives." She was bothered by that. Why would Tachi, who had been so incrediably nice to her, have ulterior motives? Why would Kieran thing something like that, unless....he liked her, too? She mulled that over for a time, as she carefully filled in some details of the sketch she was drawing, unaware that she was drawing Tachi and Kieran together. That didn't make her his property, did it? She was just so confused...she was to be married...so was he...so was Tachi...

Her mind suddenly seized on that, realisation coming to her in a great rush. That was too much of a coincidence, wasn't it? Three of them, having arranged marriages? It seemed rather....a lot. She glanced about her, wondering if everyone else there had been arranged, and if maybe that was how the faires had chosen them. Arranged marriages...they aren't goign to pair us off, are they? She wodnered thoughtfully to herself, as she looked down to Kieran. She wondered briefly if somewhere along the line, somehow, she was actually arranged to one of the guys. That was a strange thought.

Maybe she wouldn't be so strange compared to this. A little concerned with that thought, Tabitha returned to her drawing, thinking that maybe she needed to have a little talk with Kieran. She couldn't go around thinking she might set him off if she interacted with another guy. And she...she couldn't go around having him think she wanted something, not when she believed in marriage. But if they weren't able to go back....maybe she could have a little taste of life, at its fullest extent? Biting her lip, Tabitha sighed softly, her thoughts leading her into a funk, and as they continued to twirl around and around in her mind, she shuddered, hunking down, she tried to appear smaller then she was, as if to singal that she didn't want to talk with anyone, despite the sleeping guys head in her lap. She hugged herself, setting her gear aside.

Just what had Kieran meant by that?

Her gaze went around her, landing on Tachi, his face in his arms, and her heart went out to him, he seemed to be suffering so. She bit her lip again, and shifting got out her phone, managing to do so with miminal movement. Her gaze flickered to Kieran again, but she couldn't let herself be controlled....she didn't want to doubt Tachi...he had been such a good friend to her. She flicked Tachi a message.

Hey, Thong guy! Just kidding, Tachi, are you okay?

Once it sent, she set her phone aside, and looked down at Kieran. He was certainly a fine speciment, and...even with his recent...possisiveness of her, she liked him. She didn't know if anything was going to happen, if it could happen, with anyone, but....spending it with a guy who didn't think she was that odd was...nice.

She could be friends with both of them, couldn't she?

Biting her lip again,Tabitha returned to her drawing, soon immersed in it once more.
