Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Remus, Abigale noted, had decided to follow the girl, who appeared to be crawling off in the direction Callie had gone. The wolf-dog pup trotted off happily to the girl, and licked her face once he got to her, nuzzling her and wagging his tail. Abigale giggled, before turning her attention back towards Linus, smiling encouragingly at him. She clapped her hands pleased when he tried the charms for himself, and resisted giving him a hug, sensing he wouldn't like that. She instead slipped her hands into the pockets of her jammies, and smiled wildly, showing the missing tooth she had lost only a few days ago. The happy, innocent and kind young girl wanted to put Linus at ease, the boy seemed to need it, he certainly seemed jittery.

She giggled at his questions, and with her eyes wide, she said "Callie won't turn you into the cops, nor sell you to anyone. She's a good person. Please" She said, her eyes almost like those of a begging puppy, her black hair slightly messy as she looked up at the boy, "Give her a chance. She's one of the bestest people I know" Her child-like, sing song voice tried to instill the necessary emotion to show how serioius she was being. "She just wants to help you, or she wouldn't have given you the charms. Besides, my Daddy wouldn't leave me with someone he didn't trust" That was said with child-like innocence, and smile gave Linus another smile.

She wanted the boy to be...alright. He seemed to have had a bad life so far, and Abigale knew what it was to be on the run constantly. She reached out, to poke the boy in the stomach, "Its okay, to trust someone" She said softly, "Its okay to need someone. its okay to not want to run anymore...why...would you give up this? Someone that can help you? My daddy kept me safe, and Callie will do the same" She said with wisdom beyond her years, "Running all the time is tiring. That's why i'm super-dooper glad that Daddy and me get to finally stay in one place!"

Taking in the sight of the Magi, muzzled and chained to ensure their obedience, Isabella frowned, quickly changing her expression to one that was more neutral. Isabella had no issues with Magi-her elven breathern, some of them at least, were after all magic users, although she knew this was keep a secret if it was the case-or rather tried, She doubted many got a way. Mostly she just didn't see the problem with magic-she had a theory that the citadel knew the magi's were dangerous, and were usign suppression to stop them realising it themselves. So it was with spectualtion that isabella studied the magi. The others that had been and were being led in held very little interest to her.

She listened to why they were here, standing with her hands cross in front of her, over her stomach, a proper lady, yet almost looking like a...well solider as she took the information in. She had doubts about the mission, about whether or not it was even valid, when a girl spoke up. "..What stops them from slashing out throats at night and run away to be free ? " And she narrowed her eyes slightly, her gaze traveling to the magi again. She doubted they would do anything of the sought. People had a rather...monster outlook towards Magi, when they were, at the point of it, just people. And people did bad things, sure, but they didn't do them because they could do magic.

She lost a bit of what was being said, as all she heard was "Now. Guards ! Inject everyone with the new explosive devices. " And she didn't have time to react, as suddenly she injected, held from behind. Pulling herself away, she snarled, and smoothed her clothes once more, and if she had her weapons, she might very well have killed someone. Glaring towards Markovic, she turned once on her heel, and started out, more then frustrated with the situation. "You disgrace yourself and us by forcing this upon us sir, one might wonder if you had an ulterior motive" She said, choosing to throw caution to the wind. "I will do what is required of me, as I always do"
Luna listened to Constance's story, where she was settled, finding herself growing more and more angry as the story went on. When it came to an end, Luna stood up, and smoothing over her cloths as if she had all the time in the world, she turned to Constance, and seemed to take a moment to choose her words, carefully, as if worried Constance wouldn't be able to understand her if she used big words. "So" She said slowly, "let me get this straight" She shifted to her full height, which wasn't much, and shook her hair out of h er face. "You seem to have a low opinion of me-or did until i saved your ass with my medical knowledge, and sort of treated me like rubbish despite having once been treated like rubbish yourself. And then you tell us this story, which is basically saying how you climbed to riches and won't help those that truly need it, that you know need it because you experienced it. That sure is a real happy story" She said with sarcasm, her gaze never once leaving Constances

She continued "And then you try to turn the attention to me, by asking whether or not my fellow nurses basically become nurses to get into doctors pants for money. Do you realise how insulting that is?" She said, truly appauled by this...stuck up woman. "Raoul can bugger off, everyone knows I did it, but I don't do this job for recognition, or credit. I do it to help people, something you see to have forgotten how to do in your drive to get away from everything that made you who you are, effectively becoming nothing more then the people who thought you rubbish to beging with" She turned to glance at Edward, not particularly caring if she was sounding like...well a conscience. Perhaps a vicious one at that, but Constance seemed to need one, having to, it appeared, lost it in her rise to power.

"No, that sort of thing does not happen, and I would appreciate it if you didn't try to besemech my profession. We work damn hard for what we do, and we do it so that people don't have to die, so that people can go home to their families" She turned so she was looking at both of them. She shook her head, "Do you want to know what my childhood was like? My mother was raped, didn't want me, it was a miricale I survived to be four years old, when my mother killed herself. My adoptive Father found me, and took me in, despite not having anything himself, and gave me the world. He worked dman hard to give us a house, and send me to school. And I happily give him a good amount of my paycheck. So that's my life" She said, furiously, "I came on this expedition in the hopes of getting enough money to become a doctor, so I can give him the life he deserves" She turned away from both of them, shaking still, and bowing her head.

I miss you, Daddy

As Nies Hellum continued to walk, she tapped her staff, now merely trying to make a tune and give her something to focus on, her thoughts still churning away inside of her. At this rate, she'd end up never getting to Eclipse Princess, never finding any answers, and she was just contemplating stealing a vehicle, when someone called out to her, from a vehicle.

"Hey, climb aboard! Eclipse Princess says we need people on the left flank yesterday!"

Curious at the timing, the chance of fate, she flashed them a smile, grateful for the chance to at least get somewhat closer to her destination, she approached, slipping her staff to its holster on her back, she figured that, perhaps niavely, they weren't going to kill her. "Well, I'm always happy to help. Is that where eclipse is? i was suppose to meet her at the gate, but I appear to have gotten myself wonderfully lost" She said with confidence, that surprised her somewhat, but what really did she have to lose? She'd either get there or she wouldn't, she'd live or die, but one way or the other, she was going to get answers.

Ensuring her staff wasn't going to fall, she climbed in, saying "Thank you for stopping, I was just thinking what a long journey it is on foot. I'm Nies Hellum" She said, rather cheerfully. Where was this peppy, confident person coming from? Was it really as simple as she had nothing to lose? She could lose everything! And maybe that was it. Maybe...in the face of fear...she could find who she truly was. Contemplating that for a moment, Nies looked to her companions, and smiled. "Forgive me, i must appear crazier then a cuckoo bird" Was that even a saying? Nies found that she was beyond caring. "i apologise"

"Cassie... please..."

She looked up at her father, eyes wide still, and she couldn't help but think he knew something, something he wasn't telling her. That maybe, he knew more of what was going on then he had ever told her. She saw...fear...worry...and always that need to protect her. When his jaw clenched, she knew then that he knew something, and she glanced away. Her father wasn't telling her something. He had always told her everything, hadn't he? She swallowed, tears pricking her eyes again.

"Cassie, I need you to listen to me - listen to Zoé...All of you. Just... listen. She's going to explain everything."

The red eyed, clawed woman was going to tell them everything. And her father wasn't. Maybe hadn't. Her entire life. She couldn't stop thinking about that, that maybe he hadn't been honest with her her entire life. She loved her father, more then anything. And it hurt knowing that maybe...he had kept things from her. If it was for her own protection, she knew he would. It didn't make her feel better though. Perhaps Miranda knew that she was upset, that she needed something. In anycase, she gave Miranda's hand a grateful squeeze, and let out a slow breath.

And despite her worries, doubts and fears about her father keeping things from her, she snuggled closer against him, feeling better merely from his presence, and from the presence of Miranda. She looked anywhere but at Zoe, her gaze meeting that of Kaylee's, and she shuddered. She broke eye contact, looking away.

“..Cassie…”

It was a warning, but for what, Cassie didn't know. She buried her face against her father's side, tears wanting to fall as she closed her eyes tightly. After a moment, she peeked out, gaze briefly looking with Zoe's once more. The red eyes haunted her, and she turned her face back into her fathers side, shaking slightly. As Zoe began to speak, Cassie wished she was anywhere else.

"..one that we’ve tried so hard to keep you from finding out about…”

Cassandra risked a peak back up at her father, her mind churning, she barely heard the rest of Zoe's words, although her mind seemed to process them and tuck them away for a further time, as it tried to work through somehting. Her father hadn't wanted to tell her any of this, to protect her. She stepped back, and looked up at him. She drew a deep breath, and tried to speak, stopped, and then away. "..It leaves you like this.” That distracted Cassie, and disturbed, she looked to Syleste, hating the fact that her friend was hurt. Syleste didn't deserve this, she was just so innocent and pure...

"...Werewolf..."

Her mind latched onto that word, and she froze. Werewolf? She glanced around at her friends, and very slowly unwound the bandage on her hand, her previously mangled hand, now smooth and flawless. Unconcerned-hell, her clothes were practically ruined anyway, she removed the bandage on her chest, the vicious claw marks there gone. All the numerous cuts, scraps and bruises had disappeared, and she looked up to her father, seeing the confirmation there, in his face, his previous words. She buried her face in his side again, and cried.
Yup working on something
Niesha

Location: Outside of Building 2 (Mess Hall) -> Building 1 (Infirmary)

Niesha struggled for a moment to get to her feet, hugging herself, and just wanting to sink down once more, and...wallow. She barely managed to follow Kristina, slowly, trying not to look at anyone, trying to just stay on her feet asd Kristina led her back towards the infirmary, and followed Kristina to where Sophia was. She bowed her head over Sophia's body, shaking. "You mean I was needed and no one wanted, or needed, me to go choatic" she whispered, barely audiable. She rocked slightly, reaching out to lay a hand on Sophia's cheek. She closed her eyes tightly, pulling her hand back, and hugging herself.

"Sophia..." She tried to get even a little bit under control, but she couldn't seem to be able to. Like needing to take a deep breath, when it was impossible. "I was going to...going to ask you to Marry Me..." What was she meant to do now? She turned away from the body, knowing ti wasn't sophia anymore. she had no where to go. She stood there, haunted and wondering what fate, what chance, what roll of the dice had led her here, to happiness only to have it ripped away from her at its peak.

She started to walk away, not even sure where she was going to go. "What do i do now?"
@KatherinWinter
Phoebe nodded and smiled, "Yeah, and I think we can come up with some pretty cool ways to mix our abilities. make it so we can adapt quickly to each other and the situation. it's going to be great" She smiled happily, "Andyeah, we can help each other out if we needed it. We're gonna make each other stronger"

Connor smiled and gave her a hug, "Great" He said, "Makes it easier to, well, keep each other safe now doesn't it?" He swooped down and kissed her again, "I don't care what we do, because your the best choice for me" He smiled, knowing that they should go to class, but not particularly caring if they did or didn't
Will be posting tomorrow morning
@KyrisseCallie leaned in close to Caius, and sighed softly, "I'm fine" she assured him, hugging him close. For terrifying moment, she had thought that something bad would happen to him, and she didn't want that to happen. She'd be sure to make a charm that could survive him shifting shapes, to give him a little bit of protection against spells like that again. She looked up at him, worriedly. "Are you sure you're okay? That was a bad spell" She said, examinging him, but he did seem to be okay, at least for now.

"i'm sorry....I didn't think they'd attack me like that, and now they know about you" She sighed softly, wanting to be able to keep him safe, but knowing that tht woudln't happen-he'd always seek to protect her, just like he just did. He couldn't help it, and Callie didn't blame him. She looked to the herbs she had gathered and sighed, looking back to him.

"Maybe we should head back now....they might come back, with more fire power"
