Powers And Abilities:
Shapeshifting: Bat Mite can change his form and appearance to many varieties. Most of the time he uses this power for comical purposes
flight: he can fly at a very fast speeds that can rival those of a kryptonian
Magic Bolts: One of Bat Mite's main method of attacks is his ability to fire bolts of energy that he describes as magic. They hit with either concussive or explosive force.
Origin And Backstory (In A Maximum Of Four Paragraphs): Bat Mite was living in his home dimension watching DC cartoons and reading comic books by the company. His life was mostly him spending all of his time in his room when not in school. His parents spent most of their time outside of the house and leaving him to himself. He began to imagine himself as one of the heroes and wished he could be in their world instead of his own.
One day he had to go on a field trip other members of his class to a scientific facility experimenting on cosmic energies in an attempt harness infinite energy. While touring the facility, some of the students dared Bat Mite to move beyond the safe zone to get up close to the machine. They mocked him when he initially refused to go with it and they said that Batman would do it same with Superman. After a minute of continual mocking Bat Mite went through with and got into close proximity with.
That was when the alarms went off and the machine began to go haywire. There was then a massive surge of energy that burst from the machine and engulfed Bat Mite. He felt a weird pain all throughout his body and then everything went black. When he awoke he found himself on a roof in the middle of Gotham city and to his surprise he found himself with incredible powers. He crafted a costume with his new abilities and took on the name Bat Mite. In his adventures in the DCU he forgot his real name and it didn't matter much to him. He was now a superhero.
What Makes This Character 'Ultimate'?: He is a Batman fanboy who found his way into the DCU and he is living out his dream of being a superhero. He considers himself the ultimate DC fan and helping the other heroes do great things. He doesn't like the Marvel heroes all that much and tolerates them.

Sample Post: He looked down at a group of gang members trying to brake into a business and they didn't even check to make sure that weren't any alarms. He could have just kept floating there and let them notice their stupid mistake, but it was probably better to prevent as little proper damage as possible. He cleared his throat loudly to get their attention and they looked around confused.
"Up here" he said and like a dog on command they looked up at him and looks of shock came across their faces.
"I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but breaking and entering is illegal. It's not nice breaking into someone's property" he said with a smile.
"Ice this freak!" one of the thugs shouted and they took out firearms and began shooting in his direction. Bat Mite shape-shifted into a metal rowboat and floated into the air as the bullets bounced off of his metal body. He then transformed into a large sized version of himself and dropped down on top of them with a loud thud.
He heard them groaning from beneath him and he changed back to his normal size. He then heard the sirens of the police showing up.
"Great timing" he said as the cops came and pointed their weapons at the thugs and him.
"Hay i'm the good guy" he said with his hands up.
"Who the hell are you?" one cop said.
"I am Bat Mite! Biggest Batman fan and the next great superhero" he replied and gave a heroic pose.
"Uh okay. Thanks I guess" another police officer said scratching his head. This wasn't the type of hero he was expecting.
"No problem, well I gotta keep up with my work. Bat Mite away!" he shouted and took off into the air.
"Oh boy that was definitely a good success" he said as he flew above the city.
"I sure Batman is proud of my work" he said to himself.
