"I dunno, maybe we shou-" At that point, Jagen finally okayed them to go into battle. "I can start... If you want." Po asked.

"Nah, i've got this." Tah replied. At that point, Po's hair stood up a little more as he jumped to his feet. "AWWWWWWW YEAH!!!" He pumped his fist. "NOW IS COWARD KILLING TIME!!!" A white aura exploded around him as he blasted off into the air behind Jagen. As they finally arrived, Tah floated next to Jagen. "Oh my stars, there's so many of them and i don't know who i want to beat first?" He giggled, looking around. Mostly humans, a couple of them wearing weird armour. "Oooooh!" He pointed at Negi "Look, it's the traitor! Come on, you take out the others, i've got this guy." He seemed to dance from side to side in anticipation. "YO TRAITOR!!! YOU GOTTA DEAL WITH ME NOW!!! HAND PICKED BY THE KING HIMSELF TO KILL YOUR SORRY BUTT!!!" He called. "Come on, boss, i'm ready, i can take him, i'm gonna bring his head to the King on a platter. COME ON!!! LET ME GET HIM!!!"

Eggman watched the monitor as the picture of the small device appeared on it. "Hmmm, strange looking thing. This guy is one of those no-nonsense types. I hate those guys, especially working with them. No flair or drama in anything they do, just cold hearted murder." He shook his head. "I mean, what's the point in taking over the world if you can't have fun doing it?" He sighed. "Well, i'm sure i'd be able to wrap my head around it if I could get my hands on a working one and dissect it, but I don't suppose you have one of those." He then shook his head again. He then turned back to him. "Look, as for the Egg-boss, I think you may have missed something from my report. The Eggboss' aren't here to replace your crew, they are my greatest contributions to our war effort. Now, your ship isn't terribly large, but i'm sure you could find some space for the Egg Viper." He handed a datastick to the person at the comm. As the schematics appeared on the screen, showing a large, snake-like machine with cutting blades and laser cannons built into it. "Think of her as a good-will present. Shielded cockpit designed to repel both kinetic and energy based attacks. With that blast-shield at the front down, you can ram straight through several feet of solid titanium without scratching her paint. Those three modules on the tail carry laser cannons, a Megalaser at the front for pesky opponents, takes a few seconds to charge, but that won't be too much of a problem." He then motioned to the large spiked wheels on the side "And what sort of giant robot would be complete without the spinning blades of death?" He asked. "So, what do you think? Want to give her a look over? I can have one of my men bring her over for you to get started with, if you like?" He smiled a large, smug grin.

Sonia nodded as Bishop explained the Naquadah. "I'm not much of a scientist myself, I'm a politician and a warrior."

"Well, lucky that one of us is the understudy of Mobius' greatest scientific mind." Thunderbolt butted in. "And though I highly doubt you'll be able to make any meaningful improvements to the great Doctors designs, i'm sure that you can keep yourself studying this marvellous technology." Sonia made a throwing up motion to Bishop behind Thunderbolts back, before making a silent apology. She turned and began leading her way through the ship. "Although Egg-Carrier X is based on an older design, her technologies are second to none." She bragged. She finally approached the Shielding section and opened the door. "Through here is the main shield generators, we have multiple different forms of shielding to protect the ship from different forms of attack. Regular shielding for protecting against battle, but also elemental shielding, such as flame shielding, Aqua shielding, thund-" She was caught offguard as a shadow dropped down and grabbed Bishop, dragging him into the corner of the room as a series of clicks and hisses were heard in his ear.

"KOFFAL, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?!" Sonia screamed at him.

"Intruder..." It hissed with a barely intelligible tone. "State your business."

"HE'S A GUEST, PUT HIM DOWN THIS INSTANT!!!" Sonia said. Koffal let go of him. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU EVEN DOING IN HERE?! WHY AREN'T YOU GUARDING THE EGG?!"

"Egg is guarded... Engine room more defensible... Warm... Safe..." It hissed.

"WE ARE NOT UNDER ATTACK AND THOUGH I APPRECIATE THAT YOU ARE HERE UNDER ASYLUM, I WILL NOT TOLERATE ATTACKS ON PEOPLE! GET YOUR EGG AND GET BACK TO YOUR ROOM NOW!!!" She screamed at him. Sonia helped Bishop to his feet. "I'm terribly sorry about that." She said. Koffal walked over to a large pile of Energy Core cannisters. He moved the red ones aside and picked up the golden orb and quickly rushed from the room. "He is here on political asylum, he carries the egg of a queen. He's... Immensely overprotective..." She sighed. "After the first day, he made his way into the ventilation ducts and it took us 8 hours to flush him out."

"Well, if you're done, let's get to the shields." She sighed. They started walking through a glass corridor, green liquid through the glass with fish-like robots swimming in it. "Elemental Gel, it's what powers everything, so naturally, we need to keep a large stock of it around, the robots are constantly testing it and keeping its elemental PH at a neutral level. All you have to do is expose it to an element and it takes that element on. Want a machine with ice-powers, drop a snowball into it, want it to have fire powers, drop a lit match in it." She bragged. "We can make more of this stuff, but it's slow going." She sighed "Hence why we keep the large stock. Also why-" She walked over to the glass and put a hand on it, before he saw electricity shoot from her into the glass and the electricity dissipated across it. "Advanced shielding" She smiled smugly. They continued to walk until they finally reached a room with a large machine, large cogs turning around it, and large pipes carrying the green liquid into it and more pipes carrying multiple different coloured liquids away from it. "This is the shield generator. We can use this to change the elements of the shielding. We use general force shielding for the most part, because the elemental shields don't really stand up well to energy or kinetic attacks. But it does allow Egg Carrier to go places most others can't. Start pumping the blue stuff, she'll be able to dive underwater, pump the red stuff and she'll be able to get within a million miles of a star. Yellow stuff and we'd be able to fly through an Ion storm like it wasn't there."

"If you want some schematics, i'm sure we can get you some." She said, before looking at Thunderbolt, who shook her head. Sonia nodded, Thunderbolt shook her head more, Sonia put her fist in her palm and stared daggers at the chinchilla.

"Yeah, i can get those for you." She said.

Alright, so, i can think of two ways that this can go, i would really appreciate some input on which you guys would prefer.

1) What Double suggested. We are a team, working together to fight our way through worlds that are getting taken over by the Heartless, stopping them and the plethora of Disney and Final Fantasy villains that are controlling them.

2) We do more of a shared open world sandbox. Essentially, everyone is here to tell their own story and they don't need to worry too much about what everyone else is doing. You have your own story arcs, explore your own worlds, have your own supporting cast, your own main nemeses. Every so often, something big happens and all of the characters are brought together for a big boss fight, but appart from that, everyone is free to do as they please.

Wow, i go to sleep and find that people are actually interested. Wasn't expecting that.

What about aspects of each franchise? Do we just ban the force, or mutant powers from X-man? Because they're still going to get magic, and assess to fantasy stuff by virtue of their key weapons.

Ultimately, i don't see the point in banning other powers. I mean, being that this is a narrative campaign, if a character needs to do something to progress the plot, then they will find a way to do it regardless. And thanks to the Key-weapon granting everyone magic, as well as a bunch of powers based on whoever you're D-Linked with, everyone is going to be on a relatively even power field anyway.

Character building is going to have my typical "Do what you like, but don't be a dick about it" rule.

It's kind of hard to tell a very compelling story when you have characters like Goofy and Genie yucking it up alongside Cloud Strife's stonefaced angst.

If anything, that was my favourite part of BBS, Terra was a typical modern FF protagonist, stone-faced and angsty and moaning about the darkness (A Cloud alagory that every modern FF game is contractually obligated to have) but the fact that he was forced to interact with all of these bright and colourful worlds gave him, at several points a "Oh, i can't stay angsty at you." feel to him. Like, he can't help but get into the spirit of things with Cinderella telling him that dreams really do come true and Stitch telling him that Ohana means family.

It was my least favourite part of modern FF being forced to interact with my single favourite part of classic Disney.

I'm guessing that's why the Organization stuff ended up being as popular as it was... consistency in its tone?

Wait, people liked Originization XIII? Everyone i have talked and all of the reviews i have read seems to agree that Orginization XIII is the single worst part of the franchise. Boring, cookie cutter characters with an overarching plan that is constantly getting retconned, and them constantly making really stupid mistakes. Like, in 2, there is a scene where one of them tells Sora the Orginizations MO, then the immediate next scene is the same character going "We shouldn't have told him that, now we've made things harder for ourselves." and i'm just looking at the screen going "Then why the fuck did you do it?" and in the third one where one of them literally falls for the old "Hey look, a distraction!" trick by not-Zell and his Twilight-Town gang.

I have a Keybearer (that's what they're actually called, as far as I know) that I could bring in on this if you don't mind him being a little out-of-the-box.

Also, will we be sticking with only Disney and FF? If so, does that include the FFU anime? If not, can I bring in a couple of aspects from the Overlord video games?

As for the spells, will we be sticking only to what they add in KH or will we bring in more of the FF spells?

Love the enthusiasm, but hold your horses until we have an actual Character Sheet devised. Plus, please do bare in mind that a bunch of the stuff that is canon to KH is not going to be in this and if it is in this, it will be an immensely altered state. I might use Xehenort as a villain, but if it do, then fucking hell, i'm overhauling this guy to give him some kind of consistency to his plan, as well as a motivation that isn't "Shits and giggles." Because that was his entire fucking motivation:

"Why did you kill so many fucking people and bring the multiverse to its knees?"
"Eh, wanted to know what would happen if i did."

Also, i'm thinking of setting up a Discord channel to discuss this in.

@vancexentan Well, it could be that they are gathered by either long standing parts of the franchise, like Mickey or Yen-Sid? Or it could be that fate brought them together and now they have a common cause, chasing down someone who is making an army of heartless.

Kingdom Hearts has always annoyed me with how it's supposed to be a Final Fantasy/Disney crossover, yet the actual Final Fantasy stuff is mostly relegated to a few cameo's and kinda pointless/boring supporting characters, whilst the Disney stuff is mostly completely inconsequential to the story at large. It's its own original story that is chock full of all of the stuff that makes me hate modern Final Fantasy stuff. I want to love the franchise as a whole, i really do, but the only thing about it that keeps me interested is the stuff that is completely inconsequential to the story, and the things that i hate about it ((Mostly Orginization XIII and almost everything to do with them)) are the actual driving force of the plot. It wasn't so bad in the first game, because it was "All your favourite Disney villains have been gathered to help take over the world under a mysterious Final Fantasy-like, yet completely original villain." and, quite frankly, that is what i think they really should have stuck with.

Ok, so, rant over, i don't have an entire idea for what this will be about YET, but here's the idea so far:

*Keeping the "Multiple Worlds" idea, where every Final Fantasy game and Disney movie are separated into their own completely self contained world. (Yes, this will include Marvel and Star Wars, since Disney owns them and made an entire Wreck-It-Ralph movie about reminding you of this fact.)
*There are powerful forces that can strip you of your heart (It's your soul, but the game insists on calling it your Heart.) If this happens, then your consciousness creates a Heartless that will instinctively run around trying to find your heart, or replace it with someone elses, and your mortal remains become a Nobody.
*Each player takes control of a Key Warrior, each Key Warrior has a Key Weapon, not necessarily a sword. Your Key weapon can be anything, but it is key themed. This Key weapon is designed to open and close specific doors around the multiverse in order to allow certain entities to travel and to prevent others.
*Everyone starts off with a Destiny Link or "D-Link" with a canon Disney/Final Fantasy character of their choice. Your Key-Weapon will be usually be assosiated with this D-Linked individual. E.G. If you choose Merida from Brave, then you get a Key-Bow. If you choose Han Solo, you get a Key-Pistol. If you choose Freya from Final Fantasy IX, then you get a Key-Spear. If you choose Captain America, then you get a Key-Shield.
*Your character can come from pretty much any world from these two behemoth franchises. Maybe you are a Bangaa Warrior from Ivalice, or a high prince suitor from Agrabah, a Moogle from World of Balance, or a Tangean from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command?
*Your character's D-Link doesn't have to be with a character from their own world. People accidentally stumble through the cracks in the universe all the time, when they do, their heart will find another to latch onto to act as sort of a lighthouse to guide you. This is when your Key-weapon is forged and you have, unwittingly, become a Key-Warrior. I should also note that, because the person you are D-Linked to isn't aware of the link, you can link with a villain if you so choose, without having to play an evil character.
*This will be an Episodic RP, with each episode taking place on a different world, where twists and turns can happen anywhere. E.G. One episode finds you in the Pirates of the Caribbean world, however, instead of Davey Jones and his Kraken to worry about, the terror of the high seas is Captain Hook and his pet monstrosity, Sin from FFX, building their army of Heartless.

Heartless, Nobodies and Unversed

So, i've done a little work on how the 3 main enemy types work:

Heartless: Nobody knows exactly how the Heartless came into being, but ever since they did, they have been attacking people. They don't kill them, they simply suck their heart out, turning that drained heart into a Heartless and leave them as an empty shell. Heartless are creatures of pure instinct, mindlessly attacking everything with a heart. When they extract a heart, an immense amount of energy is unleashed, with the Heartless absorbing it. The more they extract, the more powerful they become. They seem to infect worlds like a virus, travelling in the same cracks between worlds as Key-Warriors.
Nobodies: After someone has had their heart drained, their physical body will slowly break down. If their will wasn't strong enough to keep themselves together, then they degrade into an amorphous form. These creatures are actually rather passive towards most people, only attacking when they feel threatened, but quite the opposite is true when they meet Heartless. The Amorphous Nobodies will relentlessly attack Heartless wherever they find them, in an attempt to retake their heart.
If the will of the person who's heart was stolen is strong enough, then they may retain themselves, physical changes can happen and they will lose all of their memories of their life before their heart was stolen. Without a Heart, however, they are no longer tied to their world, allowing the vast powers of the universe to flow into them freely. A Nobody like this can be an immensely dangerous creature.
Unversed: Although not technically related to the Heartless and Nobodies, their abilities are notably similar. The Unversed are created by the emotions from someones heart. If their heart is thrown into complete and total chaos, so utterly broken that they can no longer function, the Unversed spill from their hearts. The Unversed are creatures of purest chaos, wild emotions made manifest. They will attack everything around them, much like the heartless, but they will not try to extract hearts, instead opting to simply try and kill those around them, however they will follow the orders of whoever summoned them. Hearts that create Unversed are immensely powerful, meaning that Heartless are drawn to them. Whenever you encounter Unversed, it's not unusal to see the Unversed and Heartless fighting each other.

Warhammer 30,000: A New Heresy

Ruubai Han

The ground of the Avenue of Sacrifice rumbled as if the very sky was crashing down. Although the sounds in the air was anything but apocalyptic. Quite the opposite, the sound in the air was of celebration as a Company of each of the Emperor's Blades, Iron Vipers and Blue Dragons marched down the street. The Hive Elites watching from high in the towers, with the common dregs of the hive (Still some of the wealthiest of humanity, but common in regards to the Elites) stood at the side of the streets, cheering on their conquering heroes. In the middle of the parade, a large hover-Palanquin carrying Ruubai himself, with Mizuki by his side, the immense dreadnought-entombed frame of Zahara stood at the front and Gaul stood next to Zahara.

"HAIL TO THE PRIMARCH!!!" A cheer came from the crowd. Ruubai waved to the crowd as he picked up Mizuki and put her on his immense shoulders.

"AND HAIL TO THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN THE IMPERIUM!!!" He cried to the crowd. Mizuki blew a kiss to the crowd as a cheer went up. The Nobles in the top of the tower were notably unimpressed with this display. The Space Marines returning home from a crusade was noteworthy of their attention, but the fact that this one seemed to have married a mongrel without any noble name made them annoyed. Especially seeing that no other Primarch would even contemplate marriage. Marrying into the Imperial family was supposed to be an honor fit for only the highest of the Nobility. The Golden guards of the Emperor, the Custodes watched silently from nooks and crannies of the towers, their piercing, judging gaze constantly upon Ruubai and his antics. To marry, to claim his... Pets were of the same stature as the Sons of His Eminency... Ruubai was beloved by many, but problematic to the 1%.

"BEHOLD THE SWORN BROTHERS!!!" Gaul climbed atop Zahara and shouted at the head of the palanquin "THOSE WHO MADE THE SACRED OATH BENEATH THE TREE!!!" He held his Spear high, towards Ruubai. Who drew his sword and touched its tip with the spear.

"THOSE WHO SHED THEIR BLOOD AND TEARS FOR THE IMPERIUM!!!" Zahara boomed with his deep, robotic voice. "BE PROUD OF YOUR IMPERIUM!!!"

As the procession approached the end of the Avenue, the Space Marines began to march to the side of the road to allow the Palanquin to approach. Ruubai, Mizuki, Gaul and Zahara stepped down from the Palanquin and approached the gate, a single Custode stood in front of the Gate.

"Pray-tell, Lord Primarch." The Custode called. "Why do you seek to enter with your Legionmen at your side? Do you not feel safe in the Palace walls?" Ruubai smirked as he approached.

"You may be my Father's bodyguard, but i am his son." Ruubai replied.

"You may be his son, but i am his first..." The man replied.

"Constantin..." Ruubai sighed. "I remember you." Zahara shuffled a little in the back, remembering the butt of his spear in his jaw during their first encounter. "I believe that a rematch would prove most interesting." He laughed, looking back at Zahara. "It's not every day that the people of Terra get to see a Primarch fight a Custode..

"I would take great pleasure in that..." He replied.

"YOU are not a Primarch." Constanin replied, looking at Zahara. "Neither are you." He said to Gaul. "And you..." He stared at Mizuki. "You may have somehow wormed your way into the Primarch's heart, you may have performed a ritual on your world to bind your family to his, but you are NOT His Excellencies Primarch... You, unlike the other two are still Human... You should take the greatest of prides in that." He continued to stare Ruubai down.

"You chose your words MOST carefully." Ruubai said, the smile fading from his face quickly. "Because I will tolerate a man of your stature insulting myself and my brothers... Your head remains on your shoulders because you treated my wife with respect. Now stand aside." He ordered. Constantin didn't so much as blink. The cold himalayan winds blowing between them. "I do not wish for violence, especially on Father's doorstep, but his orders specified all Primarchs." He turned around. "BLUE DRAGONS, WHO IS YOUR PRIMARCH!?!?!?"

"SIR, GAUL YUAR, SIR!!!"

"IRON VIPERS, WHO IS YOUR PRIMARCH!?!?!?"

"SIR, ZAHARA MAI, SIR!!!"

"IMPERIAL BLADES, WHO IS YOUR PRIMARCH!?!?!?"

SIR, RUUBAI HAN, SIR!!!"

Ruubai turned around to Constantin. "You appear to be outvoted." Ruubai smiled a smug smile. Constantin's face hadn't changed. But he slowly picked his spear off the ground.

"Have it your way..." he replied. "The four of you will enter the Palace... But His Imperial Majesty will not suffer your games." He waved a hand and the immense door began to open.

"SPACE MARINES, YOU ARE DISMISSED!!!" Ruubai called, before he looked back to see Mizuki having approached Constantin.

"Great honourable First Custode," She began. "I thank you greatly for your concedence of your position." She bowed to him. "I would like if you would agree to talk with me, i would find it the greatest of honours to be allowed to include your life story into the Great Library." Constantin looked her up and down, obviously confused by her. He had never really talked with her before, despite having spent time with her when they first came to Shu. She had spent the entire time trying to get The Emperor to open up to her, to no avail. Was she trying to get to His Excellency through him? He didn't see any deceit on her face.

"I will consider it." He replied. He then stared at her for a second. "I will escort you to the palace. His Highness will want a report on this." He said, walking towards the gate as it continued to swing open.

His Majesty, the Emperor of Mankind has ordered an immediate convening of the Primarchs. His sons are to make best speed to Terra. Forces are to be left to guard the boarders of the Imperium and to cease their expansion. Ongoing Crusades are to be brought to as swift an end as is possible, all diplomatic options are available to bring an end to hostilities.

With most of the Sons of the Emperor now back under Imperium control and the boarders expanding as though a Juggernaut, the Emperor seems to have brought the expansion to an unexpected halt and ordered an immediate recall of all of the Primarchs to Earth. Nobody is entirely sure why, but rumours abound of his exceedingly reclusive behavior. He has not been seen on the battlefield for several months, and not made any formal public appearance in over 3 weeks. The only evidence of his continued residence of the Imperial Palace is the silent golden Custodes that line the walls and gates.

Eggman looked at Caldwell and listened to his explanation of their technologies. "Well, that all depends." He replied to the question. "I mean, we all leave little things out of reports." He said. "I imagine that there are a few things around here that i can give improvements on. First and foremost, i think your weapons and personnel. I mean, people are alright, it's definitely more fun shouting at them than robots, but the competence more than makes up for it. I can call some over and give you a live demonstration if you like. I was also thinking of posting one of my Eggboss machines aboard your ship. I thought that since we'll be working together, it would be prudent to maybe train someone else in their use, as well as maintenance, incase i was to be incapacitated." He reasoned. He really wasn't that big a fan of the idea of giving his secrets away to strangers, but if he could convince them of the invaluable assets that the Eggboss' were. If he could convince them then he could finally get his factory ship.

At the same time, though, he doubted that this was an offer they could refuse. First hand experience with advanced robotics technology far beyond anything they had access to.

Sonia bowed to the Lieutenant as he came aboard. "Space Flight isn't so much of something we are new at, but more something we are inexperienced with." Sonia corrected him. "We have been going to space for many generations and have been in contact with extraterrestrials, but our civilization has been in civil wars for so long that... Well, we decided that solving the problems on Mobius was more important than expanding to the stars. First it was the Overlanders, then Robotnik, then the Robotnikist terrorists... Most recently my brother, Prince Manic... But when he escaped to the stars, we were forced to bring the technology out of retirement. Although, you can take you to the Shield Generators, i'm curious about your technologies. Without Flickies or Elemental Core's, i was wondering where you get the energies to run such an enormous vessel?" She asked.
